Our overall stay was great with a few minor issues. The property and location were great for our vacation. We had a mixture of adults and kids. The view from the house and pool is amazing! The pool/jacuzzi are great. We rented boats and used the dock. There are MANY stairs in the house and to the dock so be prepared. The property host was very responsive to all our needs. There were a few issues with water pressure and maintenance that the host said would be addressed. The cleanliness of the house could use some improvements, but it is a large house to turn over.

Overall, our stay was wonderful. The house is quite large and accomodated our group of 20. The best part of the entire complex is the pool and patio area. There was plenty of tables and chairs for our entire group. The place does need some outside attention. Only complaint about the inside is the bathroom configuration and the lack of ample seating in the living room. The view from the pool is outstanding. Got some fabulous pictures of the full strawberry moon from there.

The location of the house is fantastic along the lake. The house fit all 20 of us. A few downsides was it was dirty when we came although the cleaners had been there. It needs updating. A lot of things broken that have not been fixed. Needs a fresh coat of paint and new carpet. The owner was very responsive to when issues occurred. It could be a beautiful home again’m

The home is huge and accommodated all 22 of us - ages baby to 67 year old grandparents. Positives: Large kitchen with adequate supplies. It was a very hot week and luckily the air conditioner kept up except for the very top floor. The bonus sun room worked out well for seatings for meals since we cooked in all week. It was nice to have the extra refrigerator and a freezer in the laundry room
NEGATIVES: Maintenance issues that were mentioned in 2021 reviews have not been repaired. The missing cement block getting to the pier is not repaired and very dangerous. Also, there is such a downward slope to even get to the dock that we were very hesitant to even walk back & forth. The ice cube maker was broken and we were never notified. No ice cube maker for a group of 22 when it is 100 degrees is absolutely necessary and feel we should have been told. We spent over $50 on ice during the week which was a huge hassle. There was no lock on the bathroom door between kid's room and the adult connected room. This was also mentioned in previous reviews and should have been addressed. When you look at the property from the water, it looked rundown. Retaining wall breaking away, limbs and other debris stacked up, infinity pool not running. It just appears that the owner has no desire to keep the property maintained, which is very sad since it could be a 5 star property if it was cared for.

Family Getaway
Overall a good stay. The property is definitely starting to show some age. I do feel that the price was a little on the high side given the condition of the property. But the set up worked fairly well for our family a large group of 15 people.

STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
We stayed here June, 2021 and had a negative experience. The property and house are beautiful. However, there were numerous maintenance issues. Chiefly, the central air on the third floor wasn’t working from the time we arrived. This necessitated a call to the manager, and some of our party sleeping on the couches/floor. Technicians came out that evening, but were unable to do anything until the following day when they installed window units until the part for the central air could be delivered two days later. These made the temperature bearable, but still warm and the noise was a problem for being able to sleep. After installing, the technician reset the thermostat incorrectly so heat was blowing instead of air, and we had to call them back again.
Another difficulty was a detached toilet seat in the master bedroom. It was unusable and a safety hazard. Our elderly mother, who uses a walker, needed to use that bedroom. She had to be walked all the way into the main living area to use the bathroom, even at night. It was never repaired.
The freezer included in the property description was not working, and we had to do some creative storage with our frozen food utilizing our coolers. The property managers delivered a new freezer the following afternoon.
The waterfalls and lights for the pool and hot tub weren’t working, and we had to keep the deck hose in the hot tub, because it kept losing water. Another call for a repairman who installed new bulbs and fixed a major leak in the hot tub. The waterfalls were not repaired.
We couldn’t use most of the televisions since all but one of the remotes didn’t have batteries. Even after this was mentioned to the staff, and the owner, no batteries were provided.
Underneath the kitchen sink, we discovered a container full of disgusting water from a leak in the garbage disposal.
In the second floor bathroom, only one of four vanity bulbs worked. This seems to reflect the lack of upkeep to this property.
Between calling for repairs, and having technicians in to perform work, many hours of our vacation were spent on the phone, or consulting, and not doing activities we had planned. We understand things break, but maintenance of the house doesn’t appear to be what would be expected. We requested partial credit due to lost time and inconveniences. The property manager was empathic, but the owner, George, won’t consider compensation. Stay here at your own risk. The owner is obviously in it for the money only.

Not worth it-not maintained
The experience left a bad taste in the mouth. The beautiful outer facade of the house that greets you, soon turns into a badly maintained house. For a property that you pay significant money to rent, you expect at the very least functioning facilities and a well maintained house.
The issues - 1. Not functional heating. We stayed in November and had our children experience freezing temperatures, with some developing cold. The owner never even bothered to get this checked before we came. Don't expect functioning heating or cooling when you come here.
2. The pool spa heating did not really heat up to a usable level, even though we were informed that it was a functioning feature. A repair person came by to fix it but it did not heat up to a usable level
3. Shared bathrooms between rooms- while not having a dedicated bathroom is a minor inconvenience, there are no Inside locks on the bathroom doors. So there is essentially no privacy, which is a big problem when you have multiple families traveling together
4. The outside doors did not lock properly
5. Not stocked with basic amenities - we have seen much more reasonable properties stocked with basic essentials like garbage bags( only 2 provided), bottle openers etc.
6. For a lakehouse there really is no fun to be had on this property - no kayaks, canoes to take out. We rent out a lot on lake houses and these are always available, even during winter

Outdated, cheap
This property is beautiful and you can tell it was once extravagant. Unfortunately, a lot of the furniture, especially the pool furniture, is wayyy outdated. We put the furniture to the side as soon as we got there and preferred our own lawn chairs. The landscaping is over grown... Even the mowing didn’t bother to follow the landscaping lines and let weeds grow where there are curves. We had a micro wedding there and couldn’t take pictures in the front of the house or places in the back due to over growth. The pool deck had a ton of weathering and was black (my own parents had to power wash when the property manager said they wouldn’t). The fence surrounding the pool deck is rusted and has duct tape on it. The soap, during a pandemic, was very watered down. When you’re paying what we did a night, I guess you just expect a little better. The views and location save this property and is probably what keeps people coming. It’s just a shame that it seems to be running down.

Perfect setting, wonderful home
Our family of 22 (15 adults and 7 grandkids) spent the best week at this home. It is massive and there was plenty of room to spread out! Kids loved the media room to set up all their Barbies and toys as well as the perfect place to wind down with a movie after a day in the sun. The kitchen is definitely the heartbeat for this home. The large 6 person table was the perfect setting for dominoes, card games and meals. The HUGE granite island with several stools built in underneath the counter made it the perfect place to be for appetizers, buffet meals and reminiscing about former family get-aways. There is so many seating areas on the main level. Next to the kitchen area there is a table with super comfy chairs where we set up a puzzle. The dining room is huge as well. Our family LOVED the infinity pool with a separate hot tub as well as a large patio seating area. All in all it was a great week. There were a couple of issues with 2 of the 3 dishwashers not working and A/C problems in 4 bedrooms but despite the inconveniences, we had a great time. One suggestion our group would suggest to to provide a “Welcome” binder that included information about the following: trash pickup, pool cleaning maintenance schedule, appliance manuals, hot tub controls, outdoor stereo controls and the like. I hated bothering Selina with questions about the above but she is top-notch and was always quick to reply. We hope to be back to the Ozarks next year too!

Beautiful location on lake with large house & pool
Our family had a great week. The house has an amazing view of the lake. The house was clean & spacious for 16 of us. Our only complaint is that the house is in need of updating & repair. The pictures did not show the rusted fence repaired with a rag & duct tape by the pool. The two outdoor patio table were horrible. The deck lounges were stained & torn. The grounds which obviously had once been beautiful are overgrown with weeds. A little work would make this property a showplace once again.

Problems with smell and air conditioning.
4 of the 7 nights the bunk room had no air conditioning. There also was a horrible smell in the east bedrooms on the first and second floors. We were told by the maintenance people that there probably was a dead animal or something of the sort in the vents for those particular rooms. Needless to say our trip was very enjoyable and the house, other than the above, was great!
