Our family in LK weekend was ruined by the snowstorm on January 13. There was a downed powerline over the road to this cabin and Rhododendron. And all the power was out from Mount Hood down to Sandy Oregon.
I have posted pictures, and reached out several times to Vacasa management. And have yet to hear about anything that they will do to help with this failed weekend. I am asking for a refund or at least a full credit for another stay. And I have yet to hear anything.

This was unfortunately like another Air B&B that we stayed at. It had OLD pics of when it was NEW on the inside. It was not maintained well and was not clean.
If they were to do a deep clean, fix the sink, and the wood stove so it can be used, it would be much better.

We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood setting of this home. The kids loved the access to the community pool, and we appreciated the fenced in yard for our furry family members. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. The location is perfect for exploring the area with plenty of restaurants in hiking trails nearby. We would definitely stay here again.

The cabin was clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked. The backyard was great but for the road noise. Both humans and dogs enjoyed our stay, and Vacasa made everything easy and uncomplicated.

The Marshall's cabin was a great place to stay. The house has everything you need. A well equipped kitchen for cooking meals for the family. A nice hot tub to relax in (in good condition). And a fence yard for the dog to run around it. A 15 minute drive from government camp with easy access to skiing and sledding. The only reason I took away one star is because the Wi-Fi was intermittently working, In the hot water ran out way too quickly.

This home was a perfect stay for our last 3 days in the Mt. Hood area. The warm toasty wood burning stove warmed the room so we could talk and relax after a big day. The jacuzzi is huge! It has a covered roof so rain or snow don’t impede the fun. We also loved being able to sharpen our ping pong and dart skills. The cabin is fully equipped with everything you need. One downfall is the couch. It is broken or something in the middle and needs fixing or replaced.

Had a perfect second stay. It had been several years since we last stayed, but everything was just as great as I remember. Comfortable, cozy and unpretentious...exactly what we are looking for. We will stay here over and over.

We really enjoyed this cabin. It had everything we needed including a nice hot tub! We also enjoyed making smores! Thank you for the nice selection of games! Had a little difficulty navigating how to play a DVD. We're not Xbox users. But we managed.
We were hoping to be on a river, but found trails nearby and short drive to Trillium lake
Loved how quiet it is at night!! Not always easy to find.
Thank you for a relaxing time. We enjoyed ourselves!

Plenty of room for the family in Marshall's Cabin. Nice location in a neighborhood great for walking. Big fenced yard great for kids and dog, grill and hot tub all make for great outdoor living.

The cabin was nice and cozy, loved the wood burning stove inside, the hot tub was really nice and the back yard was beautiful. The king and queen beds were super comfortable, the bunk beds definitely made for children but it was ok. The only problems we encountered were the cooking pans weren’t great, and the spice cupboard needed salt and pepper. We wished it was a bit cleaner, the toilets were dusty on the top and under the tv stand was a thick layer of dust along with the blankets in the chest smelling like they had been used for dogs to lay on without a wash. But overall we would definitely stay again, with the hopes of it being a bit cleaner next time. Truly and beautiful place and location.

Great house!
This was a great weekend stay. It was cozy but with enough space for a family. The house is nice and clean inside and the master bed was so comfy. It would have been better with some kindling or firestarters since the wood stove was a bit tricky, but the heaters worked well.

Great get-a-way close to the city
This home was great. We all loved snuggling around the woodstove and hanging out in the hot tub. Home was clean and well stocked with everything you might need in the kitchen, lots of fresh towels, and travel-sized toiletries. They even have spare dog bowls and a leash, should you need it. My kids loved it, my little dog loved the backyard, and we all had a great time. Thanks!

Very clean, comfortable beds, quiet neighborhood every thing you need except a toaster.

Very comfortable place to have family vacation
Enjoyed being closer to Mt Hood. It is probably 10 minutes to get to the Rhododendron area Dairy Queen and 5 minutes to get to highway 26 for reference.
Hot tub was wonderful to soak the bones after a day in the snow.
The house was good for beds, cooking, hanging out, watching tv/playing some xbox. It has darts and ping pong in the garage with a heater if chilly. Would definitely stay again. Snow shovel was in back yard if it happens to dump some snow in the driveway. Neighborhood was a good location to take dog for walks (extra leash was behind door if needed). Thanks for providing such a cozy place to stay.

Mountain cabin
Great little cabin. About 30 mins from timberline lodge. Feels like you’re super far out of town which was nice. Comfy beds, nice hot tub. Had endless hours of fun playing ping pong. Loved having a fire all day long to keep things toasty and relaxing. Only downfall was the couch sagged so so much in the middle that we could not all sit on it; definitely need to upgrade that. Could only have a person on each end. Otherwise was perfect.

Met expectations, well stocked kitchen and close to Mt Hood recreation. Road was a little noisy but overall highly recommend.

Marshall’s Cabin was the best!
Absolutely loved this home! So cozy and very clean the backyard was perfect for our fur babies although a little loud with the main road right behind but being fully fenced was a plus! Horse shoe pits were a great plus. Hot tub was amazing! Everything about this house was perfect and looking forward to coming back!

Great place to stay!
Only complaint would be the carpet. It needs to be washed more often.

Comfy Mountain Cabin
The Marshall's Cabin was a wonderful place to stay. There were 5 of us and we found every single bed to be comfortable - even the bunk beds. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make an amazing meal. The hot tub was amazing. We had many rounds of table tennis in the garage. We would definitely stay here again.

My. Hood vacation
We loved the cabin, our family had a great time there. We will definitely be going back to this place! However, the hot tub stopped heating after the first day, so that was a bummer. But everything else was great.

Great and fun place
The cabin was fun with lots of amenities for family fun: ping pong, darts, board games, hot tub, TV streaming. The place was clean, very well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. One thing to know, though, is that the backyard is placed directly next to the main road, which can be a little loud, as cars drive by pretty fast. Overall, it was a great place and we would rent it again.

Cozy, comfortable
It's a well used house that is very comfortable, it's in a nice quiet neighborhood. The hot tub has a cover that's easy for one person to operate, nice little firewood supply with hatchet for making kindling.

Mostly good
The house is comfortable. It could use some updating. Some of the kitchen items are pretty old - toaster/toaster oven, non-stick pans have seen better days. There was no laundry detergent. There was no dvd play or foosball table as advertised. We called vacasa and they brought a DVD player. The neighborhood is quiet and good for walking. It is easy to get to Timberline from the house. Overall, we enjoyed it.

Perfectly peaceful cabin
What a lovely place to stay! Roomy yet with a cozy feel. Completely fenced yard for our pup Mr Frankie. Kitchen completely stocked with everything we needed for some cozy fall meals. Hot tub was great but only hiccup here was we couldn’t get the temperature to go higher that 96 degrees so that was a disappointment. The location is so peaceful and neighborhood so quiet we didn’t want to leave!!

It was a peaceful cabin to stay in for a couple of nights. The back patio/yard was very private and serene. The house itself could use some minor updating (new sofa, working windows/screens, better electronics), but overall, clean and comfortable. The pool/community center is a short walk away, which was great! We'd stay here again.

Overall great stay
The house was dog friendly which we appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen had plenty of amenities for cooking. BBQ seemed a bit slow so we didn’t attempt our tri tip on it just some hotdogs. When we arrived the WiFi was out but the management company was on top of getting it fixed right away and even dropped off a new coffee pot and laundry soap on the doorstep. We appreciated the communication. One of the best things about the home was the hot tub and fully fenced backyard. Unfortunately we had to leave the cabin by our own choice a day early because of the fire danger and wind storm that hit the PNW on Labor Day. The neighborhood was beautiful with all the trees but with the amount coming down we were uncertain if we’d be stuck the next day. We would like to make it back to Cabin sometime to check out the community pool once Covid is over.

Lengthy but could save you hours of time
VRBO has contracted with Vacasa and this is our experience:
Marshall's cabin was nice, however....
Vacasa was terrible. We arrived after check in time to a dirty cabin in the middle of a pandemic. I had to call Vacasa 5!! times before I got a "resolution."
They moved us to a cabin 25 minutes away but not until we had waited around for over 2 hours in the yard of the dirty cabin. The new cabin had a broken stove, toilet and grill.
Next day, two Vacasa employees entered the cabin unannounced & maskless saying we weren't supposed to be there (we were).
We moved back to Marshall's cabin that night. It was a waste of our vacation time to move back and forth between the two cabins.
Back at Marshall's the grill didn't work nor did the internet.
3 more phone calls and no resolution.
I spent over 5 hours on the phone with Vacasa before the offered me a $100 credit.
Another 1.5 hours of phone time and I finally reached a supervisor and was given a partial refund.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER.
Don't rent from this company. They could care less about your satisfaction and openly went against the health rules set down by Oregon during a pandemic.

Wonderful stay!
We had such a great time at Marshalls Cabin! The fenced yard was perfect for letting our kids and dogs play while we read or relaxed in the hot tub. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-supplied. We enjoyed local activities like hiking, whitewater rafting, food trucks, the Bigfoot Museum, and the nearby Adventure Park. One of our best vacations ever!

Does not look like the photos
The photos of this place make it look twice as big and much more updated than it really is. We were very disappointed and left two days earlier than planned.

Great home for a weekend away
Pros: good location, big house, sleeps a lot of people, hot tub is great and covered, stocked kitchen, ping pong table, clean linens and shampoo/conditioner provided. Cons: living room smells like dog, bbq doesn't get hot enough, and beds are super uncomfortable.

We really enjoyed our stay. House was as advertised and we had no issues.

Disappointed
We are raising grandkids and all of us needed this time away. The house was ok but really needed a deep cleaning, it smelled bad so we opened windows only to find nasty unclean window seals, some pans we're put away dirty and small appliances were sticky unclean, We spent allot of time cleaning just so we could feel comfortable. I usually bring cleaning supplies with me were ever I go. It lacked dish rags so we had to use the one and only washcloth. The hot tub was great and we loved the walking trails. We liked the fact it was pet friendly but unfortunately people were a little too friendly with there pets since the furniture smells like pee. We left it cleaner than it was when we got there.

Awful property management
The living room and kitchen were dirty. Under the couch was an old meat bone and some other items, along with a lot of dirt. Under the cabinet in the kitchen was old dog food. There was some confusion on my reservation and if I booked a dog or not. I thought I had, but apparently I had not. Instead of just telling me this, the property management company said that I owed money and was very nasty about it. I will never stay in a house that they manage again. I was also given two check-out times of 10am and 11am. The property itself, except for the cleanliness is older. There is no master bathroom. It is definitely the right price for the house. The neighbors are also much closer than what the pictures show.

Very nice accommodations
The back yard was wonderful. The dog loved to play out there and the fence made it perfect. Cabin interior very nice and kitchen well stocked
