The apartment was as described, clean, comfortable, great location. Definitely recommend!

Just had a 4 night stay for 4 of us . Location is great , near the shook and main shopping areas. Host was excellent at responding to all questions / check in simple and facilities just as required . Balcony was a bonus - great for breakfast on a morning in the sunshine. Would definitely use again.

Location was great near the street market and a manageable walk to Old Town. The directions to the apartment could have been much more detailed and better. It took us close to an hour to locate apartment even though we were very close.

We absolutely loved our stay in Mishael's apartment. The apartment was exactly as described, there were no unpleasant surprises. It was even better than we expected. We love the apartment, it met all of our needs, and Mishael was always available to answer our questions. The apartment was a short distance from a grocery store and very centrally located. At the same time it was directly near quaint, quiet Jerusalem alleys. If the apartment is available, I will definitely book it for our next day in Jerusalem.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a historic neighborhood and the theme is continued in the Middle Eastern furnishings. The manager Mishael is extremely helpful and easy to contact. Very centrally located with easy access to the light rail and shopping.

not bad!
the bathroom needs updating, particularly the walk-in shower. It had TWO doors, neither of which closed all the way, so the bathroom floor always got wet, no matter how careful you were. Also the wooden bench in the shower was always slick and smelled moldy. The tables on the terrace could have used a good dusting and polishing. The landlord'sInstructions for the stove and washing machine seemed incomplete since the icons were unfamiliar and not explained,

Beautiful Apartment in Amazing Location!
This apartment is airy and beautiful!
We really enjoyed the proximity to Machane Yehuda shuk, the light rail, buses, and Ben Yehuda.
Mishael, the property manager, was a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend and cant wait to come back and stay here!

Best Place to Stay in Jerusalem
We enjoyed our stay in our “home away from home” in Jerusalem as much as we did 2 years ago. This kosher apartment is very clean and has everything we need for a 3 week stay. In a busy area, it’s surprisingly quiet inside.
The central location is walking distance to Mechana Yehuda, Ben Yehuda, Sacher Park, museums and the light rail. We enjoy having breakfast & sometimes an evening snack on the balcony when the temperatures are cooler. Mishael is an accommodating host. We look forward to many future stays there.

Well located, well maintained
The well-appointed apartment and convenient, interesting neighborhood was even better than expected.

Nice Apartment.
Most impressed with the location. For anyone reading this review, and thinking of booking this apartment for the first time, the Mehane Yehuda market is only up the back alley, there is a good sized grocery and goods store a few steps away on Bezalel Street, and Ben Yehuda Street is just up the road. The Old City is about a 20 minute walk from the apartment. We walked from the bus station, about 20 minutes, with our carry-on luggage, and it was an easy walk. The apartment can be a bit tricky to find at first. If you are on Bezalel Street, and you see the number 28 on an apartment building, then go up the steps to the third apartment building which is 28C. It is a quiet neighborhood back there, and we had no trouble sleeping. I would recommend this apartment for those who want to be a part of the buzz of Jerusalem, while still wanting to be tucked away.

Quiet and with a kosher kitchen
This is our second stay in this apartment. We like the location and the kosher kitchen. But you need to review the noisy ventilation in the bathroom. Also the black A/C remote does not work in the small bedroom. Finally, it would be good if you added 3 folding chairs in a corner to be used when the dining table is fully opened. Thanks

nice place to stay in nachalot
This place was in the perfect location. Very close to Ben Yehuda and Machane Yehuda. Light rail and buses were also very easy to get to. We really enjoyed our stay.

Clean, quiet and spacious in beautiful pedestrian Nachlaot
After staying, over the past 2 years, in 3 different apartments in the neiborghood, we stayed almost 3 weeks in this new apartment, and I must say that this one is our favorite so far. The ground floor was convenient for us since we babysat for our daughter, and the baby had enough space to play. We also appreciated to have a kosher kitchen to host a Shabbat dinner.

Great apartment in a great location.
I really enjoyed my 2-week stay in this wonderful apartment. It is very well located. A few minutes walk to Mahane Yehuda and Ben Yehuda and slightly longer walk to the Old City. You are also a short walk to King George to get a bus to everywhere else in Jerusalem. The apartment was very comfortable with everything you need for a short or long stay. And located in the charming neighbourhood of Nachlaot. I would happily stay there again.

Modern apartment in a historic quarter
This is a completely renovated modern apartment in a volorful neighborhood, a historic quarter of West Jerusalem. Many of the buildings in the quarter date to the 1890s, this building is somewhat newer. A 5-minute walk to the Mahane Yehuda market, the light rail on Jaffa Road, Ben Yehuda shops and many bus rotues on King George St. It's a good walk to the Old City, but doable. Easy access by bus to the Knesset, the Old City, Israel Museum, Yad Vashem, both campuses of the Hebrew University. Very large living room and dining area. Bedrooms are a bit tight. Good closet space.

Best Place We've Ever Stayed in Jerusalem!
We were very excited to find a beautifully renovated kosher apartment in the heart of Jerusalem and loved every moment of our 3 week stay there. The photos accurately represent the apartment which was spotlessly clean and very well supplied with everything we needed when we arrived. We loved having breakfast on the balcony every morning. We were only minutes away from Mechane Yehuda, Ben Yehuda, restaurants, the beautiful Sacher Park, museums and the light rail, and a longer walking distance to Mamilla Mall, the Old City and other neighborhoods. We were an easy taxi ride from our kids' neighborhood. Mishael was very responsive to our questions and needs and is very accommodating. We recommend this apartment without hesitation and look forward to many future stays there.

Classy Apartment in a Great Location
I stayed here with my family over the summer and it was exactly what we needed. The extra space, laundry appliances, and balcony made it a much better choice for the family than one of the small hotel rooms. The location was perfect: we were 20 minutes from the Kotel, and no more than 10 from Ben Yehuda. If you are visiting in the summer: the a/c works very well and the apartment was always comfortably chilly.
Mishael also provided excellency service. Right after we arrived, a light bulb burned out. Even though this was no big deal, Mishael immediately came over to change it and made sure we had everything we needed. We'll be back!

Great apartment; great location
My dad and I really enjoyed our stay for two weeks in this apartment. It was clean, well kept and well equipped. The owner provided us with comprehensive instructions for everything that was important ahead of our arrival so everything was quite easy once we arrived. Wifi and cable TV were both good. I was able to log in to my VPN in the United States from the apartment with no issues. The kitchen was basically equipped but fine for daily breakfast and a handful of light meals. The bathroom was good with strong water pressure, plenty of hot water and a good shower.
The location was amazing. 3 minutes to Mahane Yehuda in one direction, 4 minutes to Ben Yehuda street in the other direction. There are terrific restaurants all around. We'd shop for the freshest vegetables and freshly baked bread at Mahane Yehuda and bring them home to make a simple but fresh dinner. If you don't keep Shabbat, there are a couple non-kosher restaraunts just a couple minutes up the street that are open on Friday night for dinner. We went to Nocturno just up the street a couple evenings to listen to live music. We loved the hummus at Arbes in the other direction. We felt very safe and comfortable walking around the neighborhood at night.
The bottom line is that this is a really comfortable apartment in a really good location that exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it.

Spacious, clean, central and fully equiped apartment.
I stayed in this apartment for 5 weeks - Dec. 2016 to Jan. 2017. It turned out to be exactly like in the photos and very clean when I arrived. Mishael was a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating. The location was amazing. I walked to the old city, to Ben Yehuda, Yaffo, King George, the central bus station, up to Sanhedria on Shabbat (where my son and daughter in law live) to the Shuk and Mea Shearim/Ge'ula. I explored the area and got lost often but was always able to find my way back due to my trusty map. Although I was excited to rent an apartment with a Kosher kitchen, I didn't end up using anything but the kettle and fridge since I'm very strict with my kashrut and couldn't be sure that people who rented before me were as strict as I am. However, that's my schitck. This kitchen was clean and organized with all the dishes, pots and pans, utensils, etc. available if I had chosen to make use of them. The washer and dryer and hair dryer were great. I'm coming back to Israel in March for 3 weeks and tried to book the apartment again but unfortunately it's already booked. Since my first grandchild was born while I was there, I plan on coming to Israel often (B'ezrat HaShem) and hope to stay in this apartment again.

Very clean, comfortable, well appointed, great location
We were very happy with this property! The kitchen is well appointed for the kosher guest, 2 separate sinks, dishes, utensils, etc. Very clean. Lots of closet space in the bedrooms, but not much drawer space. The apartment has heating units which was great. (Didn't realize that not all Jerusalem apartments do). Great location in a quiet building. Was very pleasant working with Mishael. Because this apartment is a 2 bedroom unit, I assumed that we would be able to house using both rooms at our discretion. In fact, we were charged and additional 30 dollars to have our son stay in the second bedroom for Friday night. I was quite surprised by this. Seems to me that if you rent a 2 bedroom apartment, it is up to the guests to decide who they will use the second bedroom for.

Lovely Nachlaot Apt, Jerusalem
I stayed at this lovely apartment for nearly 3 weeks. The unique and charming neighborhood of Nachlaot is safe to walk around at night, and delightful to explore and photograph. The apartment itself is modern, clean, bright, comfortable, with soft plush sheets, blankets and towels, a very comfortable bed, and every modern appliance and amenity to allow for a comfortable stay. It is short walking distance from the shuk (market) Machane Yehuda, where you can get EVERY food item your heart desires (and clothing, household needs, etc.). The apartment is also in a very centralized location, easy walking distance to Jaffa Street, Agripas Street, Ben Yehuda Street, the Old City, and more, tons of shopping, restaurants and interesting spots to visit, such as the Israel Museum and the Botanical Gardens. Mishael, the owner, is extremely caring, friendly and eager to help acclimate to anything in the apartment and the neighborhood, always very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. I would return to stay here, and recommend it to others. Being a single person, I stayed in the Master bedroom and used the smaller single bedroom (the single bed does have a trundle) as a dressing room, and to store my suitcases. There is plenty of drawer and closet space. The apartment is small, but quite spacious enough for one or two adults, even a couple with a small child or two. Thank you for a charming and delightful stay!

Convenient Nachlaot apartment
We have stayed here on multiple occasions. The location is convenient. The apartment, while in a quaint area, is modern inside. The owner is very responsive to ones needs.we hope to stay here again when we return to Jerusalem.

Charming and Convenient
My husband and I spent a month here. We enjoyed our stay very much. It was nice to be able to stretch out and relax after a day of running around the city. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood was charming and quiet. We especially enjoyed the singing on Shabbat. We would open up the windows and listen every Friday evening. The apartment was very accessible. I have visual difficulties and didn't experience any difficulties of movement around and within the apartment. We were close to everything - museums, markets, cafes, stores, light rail/buses, etc. Not a bad walk to the Old City, either. We walked to many places without difficulty. There are several restaurants/cafes nearby. We visited two in particular - great food and friendly waiters/waitresses. Enjoyed a neighborhood crafts market every Friday. We totally enjoyed our stay in Jerusalem. People were very friendly and helpful. We had a little difficulty finding our way around on the first day. Got lost trying to meet up with the landlord at the apartment. People on the street were very willing to assist us with directions. The landlord even went looking for us on the street when it sounded like we were close but still confused as to where we were in relation to the apartment. Once we understood one bit of geographic information, it was easy moving around the neighborhood and city. We would definitely return to this place on any future visits to Jerusalem.

Beautiful apartment - good for families
The apartment is beautiful, with modern updates. It worked very well for a family of four. The kitchen is great for making family meals, and the apartment is located near the mahane yehuda market and several small supermarkets. So, it's easy to shop for food. The bathroom and shower are very nice. I believe another review mentioned that the shower leaked. However, I found it to be the least leaky shower I've used in Israel. The shower has both an overhead and hand-held faucets, and is really great after a hot day.
The apartment is in the historic Nachlaot neighborhood, which is within easy walking distance of Ben yehuda street and the tram stop for places further away. It's also close to sacher park, which has a playground for kids. The neighborhood is quiet, and the neighbors are very nice and like children. So, that worked really well for us.
The washing machine is fairly new and works well. The owner, Mishael, provided a rack for us to dry our clothes on the garden porch, which, frankly, is faster than an electric dryer in summer. We found the owner, Mishael, to be very responsive. There was a brief problem with the internet connection, and he came over and talked to the service provider and solved the problem.
Overall, it was a great place to stay. I would definitely stay there again.

This apartment is wonderful! It is in a perfect location - a 3 minute walk to Machane Yehuda, right on the bus line, and only a 35 minute walk to the Old City. The apartment is clean and spacious - it was perfect for 3 of us - it would also be good for a family of four, or even five. Having our own washer and dryer was so important. The kitchen was well equipped. Mishael was super helpful and friendly with everything - whether we needed dish soap or suggestions for restaurants. Nachlaot is a fun neighborhood to wander around in, and there is a great park, Sacher Park, nearby. Ben Yehuda and King George are less than ten minutes walk away. This apartment was our favorite of all the apartments we rented in Israel!

Very classy, comfortable, well equipped and well mainntained apartment in a great location.
The manager Mishael was very kind and helpful in giving us tips to go around the city.
I definitely recommend this place!

This apartment was a major disappointment. The owners charge a handsome fee for a lovely place that is shabbily maintained. Just a few of the issues we dealt with:
1. A safe in the apartment (admittedly a nice feature) but the batteries had never been changed, so it froze just when we had to get our passports to travel. The manager’s nonchalance about this situation added insult to injury.
2. A dryer that made huge crunching sounds that indicated something was very very wrong. (Owners were notified, but nothing was ever done).
3. Problems with the hot water (and an outdated ‘Guide’ with misinformation).
4. A shower door with a plastic water guard that was only partially affixed, allowing water to flow onto the floor (easily solved with a bit of Superglue).
5. A toilet that had a button for two flushes only one of which worked.
The manager is the owner’s son, who was slow to respond to any issue. He would say that he was on his way over to fix things that day and not show up until the next.
The apartment is centrally located but there are much better places for the same amount of money. Certainly there are places that are better maintained.
2.5
Clean, comfortable with everything you need. Helpful point of contact in the next building. Great location. We'd rent there again.
2.5
The pictures and explanation were very accurate, the introductory informational email that I received prior to checking in was excellent, and the apartment was very clean.
Enough of the administrative. This great apartment is located in one of the most convenient areas from which to explore central Jerusalem. A five to ten minute walk gets you to the Market, Ben Yehuda Street, Jaffa St and the Light Rail station and cabs are very reasonable. The Egged Bus Company has an easy-to-use English site to plan bus routes-and are well priced.
Everything about this stay was great and we loved staying at this apartment and on future trips to Jerusalem would most definitely want to stay here again.
