Great place to stay and they allow pets which is a plus for those with pets. Also very accommodating to us and our friends.

We had a lovely stay! Clean, cozy rooms and incredible view down the valley to the ocean.

Beautiful, quiet location with great hosts. It was nice to escape our more urban lives for a few days. Beds were especially comfortable and the access to things to do was easy.

Wonderful property up in the hills of Arroyo Grande. 10 min drive to beach, 5 min drive to cute downtown cafes and delicious restaurants.
Super easy check in process, spacous guest house and bonus space for doggies! My kids and I felt right at home, we will definitely come back!

We enjoyed staying here but the stairs were a big hindrance to us. It would be nice to have two bathrooms on the upper floor. It’s a cute place except for the stairs. It was nice being in a country setting. Loved the dogs, chickens and goats. The area provided for our dog was nice.

Perfect location for a stay in Arroyo Grande. Plenty of kitchen amenities and great views.

This is a great guest house (upper level) with a beautiful countryside view from the private deck! The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of towels, etc. It was just the two of us, but sleeps more. The property owner was very easy to reach, but no problems here!

Retreat from Family
Patrick and I were in Edna Valley for my nephew's wedding and all my brothers and sisters and their family were going also. My family is great, but it was nice for Patrick and I to have our own space and still be close enough to join in family gatherings. Sandy (our hostess) was wonderful. She gave us good tips on good wineries to enjoy (Wolff Vineyards was great) and the view from our deck was a wonderful place to unwind with wine and cheese. We enjoyed their friendly dogs, goats, and the daily line up of the chickens outside our door. We would recommend this place for anyone.

Wonderful experience - retreat from the hustle and bustle
Our family had a terrific time and the hosts were so thoughtful and inviting. From the timely communications to the treats for the kids, all our needs were met and then some! We had a grand tour of the property including the chickens and goats. Our little puppy also loved hanging out with the dogs. Thanks for al the recommendations for restaurants and beach. We hope to be back again soon!

We very much enjoyed the one week stay and the warm welcome.
Our 3 year old enjoyed the daily collections of eggs awaiting patiently the hens leaving the nest. The location is perfect for all kind of activities, not far from perfect hiking trails in the mountains and walking on the beach and the dunes. We hope to come again.

Tranquil surroundings minutes from downtown
Had a wonderful time when we stayed here for Springbreak. The home is spotlessly clean and well appointed. There were extra sheets/towels and everything was in top order.
The hosts were warm and caring - even left us a complimentary bottle of wine. They have chickens freely roaming about the place along with 2 lovely, energetic and playful dogs who are super-friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyable
We had a very nice stay at this property. It has a rural feel, with agriculture and small ranches/farms in the area, but it is only a few minutes from the Arroyo Grande village and Hiway 101. We loved the back deck and used it often. The sunsets were awesome. We've stayed in many short-term rentals over the years and can say Sandy is the best communicator of all the owners we've ever dealt with. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

Surf country
Sandy and Jorge were super communicative, sweet, and welcoming. Super flexible on arrival and departure times since there was no reservations before or after us. The animals were super sweet to experience, as well as just so cute and playful. The temperature was 10⁰ cooler than the rest of the surrounding areas. The oak covered hills framed the ocean and farmland valley view. Positively a beautiful experience.

Fantastic Find!
Whether you just want a weekend getaway place, great wine tasting location, or being nearby Central Coastal towns this is the place to stay. We were here for a wedding at nearby Cypress Ridge. We took advantage of the nearby downtown Arroyo Grande Village. There are numerous great places to eat and live music!
The house and owner are amazing! The rooms and beds were super comfortable. As we arrived, we were greeted by the furry friends that roam about the property and love being petted. The owner had left a bottle of local wine that we enjoyed out on the deck as we watched the sun set. If you are headed to the Central Coast and are looking for a place to stay- you cannot go wrong with this choice!

Home away from home
After a year that we all had we were pretty excited to take a trip out of town with our family. We tried looking for places in Pismo Beach but we were too impressed. I stumbled across this listing and we reserved it instantly. Upon our arrival, this place has surely surpassed our expectations. We loved the country side and this place has our ♥️! Thank you Sandy and Jorge!!

We've been renting houses for short stays for many years now. Sandy and Jorge's house was, for sure, the best experience we have ever had. Their house is not only spotless and clean, it also had everything in very good condition you expect, including kitchen pans and appliances.Sandy was very welcoming and gave us a tour of their farm animals, allowing my kids to walk around and pick up fresh eggs. It was certainly an experience that will remain in my family's memory forever. The location was also fantastic, a short drive to so many different places. We LOVED it! From the bottom of our hearts, we thank Sandy and Jorge for such a wonderful stay. We’ll certainly be planning to come back.

The property and the location is just perfect for a quiet, relaxed getaway. The house has a beautiful deck with nice panoramic view of the hill and the ocean. You can hear the birds chirping. The additional bonus were time spent with the goats, the bullock and the chickens. My daughter couldn't stop talking about them for 2 days straight since we left. Arroyo Grande village has great restaurants with really good offerings. Don't forget to check out the numerous vineyards and Lopez lake. Jorge and Sandy communicated every details perfectly and we are thankful to them for hosting us. We look forward to visiting again.

Relaxing stay!
This guest house is on a 7 acre property close to "village" of AG. It's super-clean and you have everything you need for a great vacay! My 10 y/o grandson loved helping gather chicken's eggs, feed the cow and goats and play basketball! Thanks Sandy & Jorge!

Paradise found.
Now we know why everyone rates a 5. Paradise + Sandy. Everything we were anticipating and more. Private and relaxing. Interaction with farm animals. Fresh eggs! Close proximity to great hiking at nearby Lopez Lake, Pismo Beach Preserve and many others. The town of Arroyo Grande is quaint and complete. Many choices or do nothing. We did it all! Renewal! Thank you Sandy and Jorge. See you next time.

Luxurious Rural Retreat
Nestled among oak covered hills with large homes and sprawling estates, and featuring an ocean view in the far distance, these charming accommodations are peaceful and secure, but not isolated. The property is fenced off with automatic gate access to a long driveway, at the end of which you'll find the two story guesthouse. The first floor features a half bathroom, laundry, storage, and refrigerator/freezer, and is primarily utilitarian. The second floor is a spacious, clean, and tastefully appointed modern apartment, with two bedrooms, a full bath, a living room with fireplace, a kitchen and dining area, and a large balcony with table and chairs and a beautiful view. (Do be advised that use of the stairs is necessary for accessing the second floor of the unit, although this didn't pose any problem for us.) There are animals on the farm, but the large ones aren't able to roam freely in the vicinity of the guesthouse, so you won't see them unless you make it a point to visit them, which we thoroughly enjoyed doing. There are Arabian horses stables, organic farm stands, and plenty of wildlife in the area. The town of Arroyo Grande, with plenty of amenities, is about 10 minutes down the highway, and Pismo Beach is not much further. Taking the highway in the other direction will bring you to San Luis Obispo. We found the owners to be helpful, friendly, and respectful of our privacy. We had a fabulous trip, our stay here exceeded our expectations.

Best Place We’ve Stayed in AG
This property has it all. We’ve stayed several places in AG but this was our favorite. The location, the spectacular views, the welcoming owners, the accommodations themselves all made this a perfect place to hang out! We had coffee in the morning on the deck and a barbecue in the evening - they had everything we needed! I recommend the local butcher in the Village for meat as well as the local coffee house for a nice spot to enjoy a light breakfast in the morning. Only a 10 minute drive! We also bought produce from a couple of the local stands driving around. We will definitely be back to this most amazing casita!

Annual Christmas Retreat
Another Christmas in Pismo, another set of wonderful memories created at our favorite retreat at Arroyo Grande. We also appreciated the owners' attentive and responsive communication. The kids absolutely love this place which is eveything.

Much needed Rest and Relaxation
My son and his wife and I had a wonderful visit in AG and loved staying in this quiet well maintained home away from home. It was extra special for me as I was able to have my 11 month old grandson for 3 nights and 4 days. It was a perfect place for him and we all slept well. Sebastian loved all the chickens running around on the property. It was a rainy weekend but on our last morning we were able to have breakfast on the porch and really enjoyed the beautiful view. This was our 2nd visit and again it did fail to be wonderful.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Sandy and Jorge’s guest house! It was a perfect size for us (two adults, a 2.5 year old, and a 65 lb dog). Sandy was very responsive and really went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She personally gave a little tour and explanation of the property, which includes goats, steer, and chickens. And she let our two year old collect some farm fresh eggs. The home was also very clean. The small dining table extends and we were able to have 4 more over and seat all of us around the table and made use of one of the multiple grills. We were 20-25 minutes from Olde Port Beach, where our dog loved being off leash along with a bunch of other dogs. Sandy was available to answer any questions throughout our time there. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

Arroyo Grande farm house
Nice little apt over garage well suited for a small family. Beautiful area in the heart of rural San Luis Obispo. This cottage has a wonderful deck over looking surrounding farms, with a glimpse of the ocean on a clear day. House is kept very clean and not too far from down town Arroyo Grande.
