About this house rental

Our beautiful rustic barn has a stone gas fireplace perfect for snuggling and staying warm while you catch up on movie time or your favorite shows on direct tv. First floor also has a bathroom with shower, living room, eating area, and full kitchen that includes coffee maker, dishes, pots, pans, silverware etc.. The upstairs has2 bedrooms with 1 double and 1 queen bed in each room. A unique bathroom that has a vintage soaking tub . Also a sitting area where you can catch up on some reading or sip a glass of wine. We have Tvs with Direct TV in each bedroom .Enjoy the outdoor landscaping no matter what the season .Relax in a lounge chair outside under the pergola, throw a steak on the barbe, make some smores by the campfire, listen to the waterfalls, walk through the gardens and enjoy the sweet smells .
We also have a farmhouse that is listed on vrbo if you need additional housing for your guest.

We booked this property for a nice, relaxing trip on our way across the country. It certainly delivered. We enjoyed sitting in the beautifully landscaped backyard and listening to the sounds of the countryside. The barn had everything we needed and more for our family of five.

Very peaceful stay. Very quiet and relaxing. If you have a hectic and chaotic life like me, a couple night here seem to make it melt away with the pond and garden. Will very likely stay here again.

The outdoor area was beautiful! Whole place was very clean and there was lots of seating. Beds were comfortable. And instructions were simple, clear, and reasonable. Wifi worked well and I had good phone service outside of wifi, despite the location being somewhat remote.

The barn was clean and beautiful. Very nicely decorated. I had everything I needed to make my meals. The clawfoot tub was amazing. Slept well as the bed I slept in was comfortable. I told my daughter I would love to bring her for a girls weekend! Definitely would return.

Loved our weekend in New Virginia. Barn was perfect for a girls weekend. Unfortunately the weather was crappy so we couldnt enjoy the patio as much. Otherwise great, clean place!

This stay was such a seamless process! Communication with the hostess was easy! The barn/cabin was perfect for our group. Beds were comfortable and the place was simply charming. Some holiday decor was still up and just added to the ambiance. We would come again when it’s warmer to enjoy the outdoor amenities. Close to Osceola and Indianola for more things to do. Great place to stay!!!

The 4 of us loved staying here. From the decor to the comfort, the fireplace, the kitchen, comfortable beds, bedding and everything else. This host thought of everything. Kitchen was stocked with whatever we needed. We did all of the cooking as the 2 day blizzard raged outside. We had such a good time. Beautiful setting even though the snow covered most of it along with the -40 below windchill. The barn was so warm and comfy. The host couldnt have provided a better 3 night stay. Will recommend to everyone!

Holly has thought of everything! This was an absolute beautiful property with all of the comforts of home. The adorable barn we stayed in was so much more than we imagined. I certainly recommend staying here!! We do wish it would have been warmer so we could have enjoyed the outdoors as well.

Just love staying here at the converted barn. The grounds are so peaceful. We always enjoy having a glass of wine around the fire pit while listening to the corn stalks rustle in evening breeze and the water trickling into the small pond. Property is always clean and the beds are very comfortable. Bring your camera because there are unlimited photo ops. Such a gorgeous setting.

What a fantastic first night of our 2-week roadtrip from Colorado to New England and Canada! Definitely one of the most beautiful settings we’ve ever experienced in a VRBO rental. The barn is full of charm, character, and very clean. The grounds are peaceful and serene. Listening to the water feature while sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the patio was very relaxing. Super easy parking and comfortable bed. Will absolutely be back!

If you’re questioning if you should book this or not….. BOOK IT! Seriously, this was one of the best staycations we have had. The property was absolutely beautiful! Holly was great to work with and very accommodating. Super easy check-in and check-out process. The barn had everything you needed. It was the perfect weekend getaway and so peaceful. When you arrive you are struck by how beautifully landscaped the property is and then you enter the modern house with all the amenities and feel very fortunate to be staying at Bailey Farms. We knew that our mini-vacation was going to be good, but we had no idea that it was going to be spectacular! The barn, the grounds, the general accommodations and the owners all made for a great, relaxing stay. We plan to revisit in the near future. We just cannot recommend this venue enough for a comfortable, gorgeous get-away.

Multiple family members from out of state met up to see a sick relative in Iowa. We couldn’t find a hotel because of Tulip Time so opted for a VrBo and we were NOT disappointed! What a beautiful property. The pictures don’t do it justice. Holly was easy to work with. We spent a free afternoon at a local winery and seeing some other nearby sights. 10/10

Absolutely perfect stay! My friend and I loved the decor of the barn and all the small touches throughout. Well stocked for everything we needed for a weekend away - the soaking tub was one of our favorite things about the barn! Enjoyed shopping in nearby Indianola since the weather was cooler and we couldn't enjoy the patio area like we had planned. We Absolutely loved our stay. Would highly recommend! ❤️
