The location is great. It’s a beautiful place. We had everything we could possibly need. Very clean. I love the artwork. It was so cold outside during our stay, so we spent more time than anticipated inside and it was cozy and warm.

Newer nicely decorated interior. Nice large shower/tub with jets.
The skylights that close at night. Lots of room with comfortable bed.
9.0
Very cozy and quaint. Liked that it's in walking distance to main street.
Construction was kind of a bummer and it is on a busy street. So there is some street noise throughout the night.

Very convenient location to downtown. Had our own entrance & parking spot. Very clean and loved that there was a full kitchen. Cozy fireplace & lots of space. Very nice & attentive host.
Really loved the suite, but the bathroom was a little cold this cool spring. Heater helped. Limited counter space to get ready & set your cosmetics bag. Maybe a small table in front of the second mirror would be helpful (where the hairdryer is)

Neat history, clean facilities & good value.
It’s on a busier street and during our stay there was road construction, so it wasn’t as restful as we hoped but that can happen in a noisy hotel too.

Room was very nice and clean close to main street
Construction was horrible very hard to find place do to construction husband a little upset about no breakfast it was hard to walk to the shopping and food due to construction also

Awesome room, totally unique, and exactly what I want when I stay in Galena. The proximity to town was terrific, and we had a great stay.

Nothing …
No-one was there to check you in . I had to call to figure out how to get into the room. No sign out front telling you that
this was the place. Actually had a
For Sale sign out front. When I did get into the room it had an odor that smelled like urine. Called the contact and asked for a refund. They sent the owner over and they disagreed that there was a smell. I asked for a full refund. I was in Galena for my moms 80 th birthday. Contact argued with me - made it sound like she thought I was lying about the smell. I am 55 years away of with my 80 year old mother. I wasn’t lying. When my mom walked into the room she said there was an odor as well. They agreed to 1/2 back. I would NEVER stay here.

The room was spacious and clean, the art was amazing, and it was secluded and quiet. it was a quick walk to the park and downtown which made exploring Galena nice and easy! The host communicated well, was accommodating, and helpful.
I do not have any complaints.

The sauna was amazing! The room was perfect!

We did like the room and building.
The construction, power outage and high amount of large truck traffic were not what we expected.

This suite is weirdly quirky and fun! The bed and accommodations were very comfortable and the proximity to downtown Galena was perfect.
The water temp of the shower was very finicky.

No breakfast
Location, road work was a bummer!! Hi

There was no breakfast, not even coffee or ice. It was a cute room, comfortable bed. That’s it. Landscape uncared for seemed somewhat abandoned
They should call it what it is. A place to sleep. Need realistic update of website. No flowers just weeds. We were the only guests.

disappointed that there was no breakfast.
road construction in front of the property. had I known that the road was severely under construction in front of the unit I would have stayed somewhere else. the roadwork made it difficult to get in and out of the unit and in and out of town. big mess ! They were pouring concrete this morning and the concrete truck was in front of my car and I had to wait until they were finished before I could leave this morning to find somewhere for breakfast.

Everything was great except for the mold in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay.
Mold in the bathroom.

The location was excellent. Walking distance to Main Street.
Maybe once covid is over breakfast will resume. But, it wasn't a deal breaker.

Albert's Glen was very spacious and comfortable with a unique bathroom and custom tiles in both the kitchen and bedroom. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet it was at night. The thick walls really reduce the traffic noise!

The room was very cozy. Very close to the shops in the downtown area. When we first arrived the room was at 92 degrees, which was very warm. I reached out to our host and she immediately got a hold of the maintenance guy. He showed up about 5 minutes later and fixed the A/C. Very nice and handled the situation perfectly. He suggested a few restaurants to try and they were very good. Everything else was great no other problems.
The bed was very high. Good thing they had a step next to it for myself to get in and out of. My husband who is 6'1 even had some difficulties on his side.

No breakfast is provided.
Pillows were a little uncomfortable.

Loved the location and the charm of the room. Quiet even though on a busy road. Bed was amazingly comfortable and the walk up bathroom was charming. The sauna was an excellent touch.
No breakfast, but that was clearly stated multiple times so I wasn't upset.

We loved everything from the size of the room as well as the artwork throughout the art gallery and guesthouse. They provided everything from fresh towels to wine glasses to shampoo.
Everything was exceptional. The only issue was the tub. It wasn't filling up.
10.0
The location was great! Close to downtown and within walking distance for all the shops and restaurants. It was nice to have the shampoo, etc. there also.
A microwave would have been nice but it was fine without it.

Charming and cozy, very clean
Parking was a bit of an issue due to traffic
2.0
it was clean. The location was good
The smell of the room was bad. It needs to be freshened There was no shower soap. The coffee was a zip lock in the freezer. We had no internet the whole weekend The tv was a 21” we had to pull in from another room. The lighting was too complex The nightstand leg fell off The traffic from the road shakes the room
4.0
The bed was comfortable
The lighting on the two flights of stairs to get to room is horrible -stairs are outside absolutely no TV service so I had to mirror off my phone no breakfast still although Galena has dine in everywhere indoors and this B&B had no Holiday decor like all the other places in town so depressing and dark and for the price we paid to stay is to high for what you don't get and they fail to tell you the place is FOR SALE overall a disappointment for sure

Great location
I think putting a futon upstairs would be great! Decor was eclectic and price was a little high.
