About this apartment rental

This is a bright, modern studio with en-suite shower/WC. The room is reached by a private entrance at the side of our family house. The studio is recently built, clean and quiet, with lovely garden views and use of a patio. There is TV and free Wi-Fi. The kitchen area has a microwave oven (for small dishes), a fridge, a toaster, a kettle and tea and coffee making facilities. There's also an ironing board and a hairdryer. Guests will have total privacy and can come and go as they please. Sorry but no smoking is allowed on the property. The location is just 5mins away from Golders Green underground (Metro) and bus station. It’s a safe, friendly neighborhood with many shops, restaurants, bars and parks. Stunning Hampstead Heath is just 10 mins away. The tube takes just 10mins to Camden Town, 25mins to Oxford St, 35 mins to Buckingham Palace and Tower of London.There are many buses to all areas of London and direct buses to Luton and Stanstead airports, taking just an hour. Heathrow is 40 mins by cab or 80 mins by metro. The local park 5 mins away has free tennis courts and a fantastic playground for kids. It also has a small zoo.

Cosy place for a couple, good located close to the underground and bus stops. Beautiful garden. Nice and helpful owner. The only negative point is the annoying noise of the pomp when you use the toilet.

Excellent stay, location was perfect for us. 5 mins walk from a northern line tube station. Cafes, restaurants nearby. Area was very quiet and very pleasant. Paul was very helpful when we arrived and explained what we needed to do and pointed out some local amenities which was great. Italian restaurant under the bridge by the tube station was fantastic. Lovely to come back to the peace and quiet after long days walking round the city We would definitely stay here again. We also had off street parking which was a huge bonus for us. Thank you very much for our stay.

Extremely clean and private flat in a safe neighborhood. A short walk from the tube, which goes into all the popular places of london. Paul was extremely accomodating and helpful, either about the property or activities in london. Would definitely stay again.

A great spot to relax and recharge. Exquisite garden access, wake up to birds chirping and well manicured and tended outdoor space. Closely located to train and bus station, I was able to balance the countryside experience of the lush outdoors with efficient trips into and around the city. The host was also personable and offered tips for getting around the city.

Paul is very responsive, the neighborhood is lovely, the Northern line of the tube (which serves this area) is super convenient to everything, and the bed was very, very comfortable!

We stayed for a week in this clean, compact room. It’s perfect for a couple who wants to explore the many delights of London. The tube is an easy five-minute walk. In the neighbourhood, there are lovely coffee shops for a quick breakfast or many restaurants for an evening meal. The Property managers were responsive and helpful. This room made our time in London safe and simple: just what you want from your accommodation.

Everything was great at the property. The owner responded quickly to a minor issue. The only improvement would be better lighting on the street. Most people on this street do not illuminate their address. We had some difficulty actually finding the property even when we were right in front of it.. Once we got used to the tube station, we could get anywhere we wanted to go. The climate of London in Nov is not great. It was cold and drizzly almost every day. I would stay there again if I come to London.

My daughter and I stayed for a week. We hopped the tube into London everyday. A short walk and just a few stops from downtown and sites. The flat was perfect for two people. There is a small kitchenette, bathroom with shower, private entrance. Our hosts were amazing, friendly and helpful! We will be back!

Paul and Iane have a hidden gem! Very well kept property! We felt safe and had plenty of privacy! They were very great with communicating with us throughout our stay and we enjoyed our time in London! Definitely 5 stars! It is a small space so perfect for just 1 or 2 people to be comfortable! I was very happy with the property. It was very clean and comfortable and the outdoor setting was great to have a drink and ponder the thoughts of the day. It was a 5 mins walk to the station and a 20 mins trip into the city. This meant you were out of the hustle and bustle and the environs were safe and quiet. There was also had a couple of decent restaurants and coffee houses within a short walk. Paul was a great host and overall a great place to stay.

Despite its close proximity to Golders Green tube station (including several bus lines) Paul's house is situated in an extremely quiet neigbourhood and is also perfectly functional, with the additional bonus of a back garden that will allow you to rest and relax when you come back knackered from your traipse in London. The flat is clean and comfortable, and Paul is quite willing to help if needed. Definitely to be recommended.

This little gem was exactly what we needed for our stay in London. Golders Green is a lovely community, quiet, feels very homely and safe. Super close to everything you need and such a quick tube ride to town. Studio was super comfortable, bed was like sleeping on a cloud! Paul was a great host who provided great details for an easy check in. Would highly recommend staying here for anyone visiting London . Cheers Paul!

After being on a whirlwind week long trip full of festivities in Scotland for my best friend’s wedding; this was the perfect getaway! Paul and his wife were lovely and were quite helpful before I arrived and during my stay. The space is small, but very comfortable. The bed was absolutely amazing! And being able to sleep with the windows open was a bonus. The tube station is close and most rides into the heart of the city were under 37 minutes. Great restaurants and express supermarkets nearby!

We enjoyed the stay the studio was exactly as described and Paul the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location was excellent for everything in London as the Northern Line was quick and efficient. We would like to make a suggestion to Paul as we are two women and missed a dressing table and mirror for make up and hair!! If Paul put the television on the wall and a mirror where the television is at the moment it would solve the problem.

Property as advertised on the website. Pretty much hassle-free. Property location in the northern suburbs of London. Hampstead Heath nearby for walks. Bus and Tube to the city centre easily accessed. The property was fine for me but might be a little small for two for a long stay. Microwave, toaster and kettle but no other cooking facilities. Small fridge but no freezer section. Shops nearby. Overall clean, quiet and secure with a patio area looking out onto a pretty backyard. Owners pleasant and easily contacted.I stayed happily for two weeks - just what I needed!

Both stays (one week apart) we were greeted warmly by the hosts & provided with information about the area. We thought the location felt very safe & quiet, yet close to restaurants & shopping. Can easily get to the main tourist attractions efficiently via the underground tube station nearby. Overall a comfortable & great place to stay for one or two individuals. Thanks Paul & Iane!

Terrific studio with a bonus outside area. Private, quiet, 5 minute walk to the shops and 3 minutes more to the Underground. Owner was friendly and responsive. Highly recommend as a base for your London visit!

We were very happy to stay in this small studio. The hosts were really nice. The studio had a place for everything and did meet all of our needs. We were especially happy with the quiet neighborhood and the ease of getting to the underground to get to our favorite places.

Paul’s place is pleasant and quiet, perfect for a night in after spending all day exploring London. The metro is only a short walk away and there’s many great eateries nearby. Love the private outdoor space as well. Paul is super friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

The good: It’s a small studio but has everything you need. It is clean, comfortable, very private and quiet. The not so good: With the walk and tube, you are a good half hour from Central London, if that is your objective. The hot water pressure is very low. The shower dribbles, not sprays.

Being our first time in London, we had a wonderful and comfortable stay in Paul’s studio. All the essentials you need in a home (bathroom, kitchenette, bed, TV, and heater) all fitted in his studio as well as a beautiful backyard to relax on. What we loved about the studio was that it was in an area away from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was a quiet and peaceful location that was just a walk away from restaurants, cafes, and even a grocery store without worrying about the crowd. Whenever we wanted to go see the city, the tube was just a quick walk away. Often my wife and I would return late. We had no problem walking back safely to our VRBO home or sleeping comfortably because the neighborhood was so peaceful and quiet. One of the best parts of Paul’s VRBO was his hospitality. He went above and beyond his service to make our vacation to London an easy transition. He gave informative instructions on how to access his place and was always quick to respond to answer any of our questions. He even offered to allow us to park in his driveway when we rented a car for a day and didn’t rush us out when our time ended. I highly recommend Paul’s VRBO if you want to explore London while still feeling like you never left home. Paul’s VRBO would be first in the list if we find our way back to London again.

Great experience. Lovely studio and garden. Fantastic neighborhood. Easy access to underground and several fun, yummy pubs nearby. First time visitors to England with our first week here. It was a smart choice, for many good reasons and allowed us to acclimate! Five stars all around!

We loved being In a home with a yard. Thank you for the apples from the tree and we even saw the fox one evening. The tube and bus was a 5 minute walk and we used it daily to spend the day in London for sight seeing. About a 30 min ride. We also walked through Hampshire heath which is a beautiful park near by. Hosts made everything easy for us!

Nice studio in great location

Very nice small studio in a great location in London. We were lucky with the weather so we could use the terrace in the garden for our breakfasts and occasionally dinner. Paul and Iane were very welcoming and friendly, easy to contact and they gave us nice tips, like the pub at Hampstead The Old Bull & Bush, with great Sunday Roast. If we come back to London we will definately return to Golders Green.

There were some cleaning issues, presumably due to a change in housekeepers, which were respectfully and promptly taken care of by Paul. He was a very attentive and amiable host. After a full day off sight seeing it was nice to return to a room with a garden. Very peaceful, if a little smaller than it appears in the photos...but that could just be our perception.
