The Grand Lodge at Elk Ridge Ranch is located just 9 miles from the French Lick Resort Golf and 12 miles from French Lick Resort Casino. Near Patoka Lake - just 12.8 miles via Hoosier Hills Marina. Near the scenic White River - 8 miles. Located in the beautiful rolling hills of southern Indiana in the heart of the Hoosier National Forest.

Seasonal wagon rides can be arranged on-site. Grand Lodge has a private martial arts workout outbuilding recreation area with a ping pong table, mirrored studio and martial arts mat. You may add access to our other full gym with 2000 sq. feet full weights room, cardio machines. Or you may include access to a private par three golf course, a stocked fishing pond.

This is a perfect property for a large family gathering or a corporate meeting and retreat.

This place is remote and private. This property sits on a wooded 80-acre plot of ground. The property is surrounded by an 9 tall foot fence. Once you come up the hill and close the double gates you can leave the outside world behind or enjoy the many tourist activities in the French Lick area.

This lodge is perfect for a large group. We had 15 of various ages. Everyone loved it. It’s close to French Lick as the crow flies, takes about 20 minutes to get in town because of the roads, but worth the drive! The owners are very attentive should you have any questions or concerns.

The 12 beds worked great for our group of 12 golfers. The kitchen also worked great for feeding the crew. The seven beds in the basement worked fine but a few too many snorers in the same space could benefit from sound barriers (walls). Overall we had a great stay and a few of us played on the par 3 and played some ping pong. If you have an event that requires timing 12 showers all close together, be wary of potential low water pressure. Owners were very responsive and great to work with. We would definitely come back.

This venue was perfect for our family getaway. Our teenaged grandkids loved the recreation area. The deer were a joy to watch as was hiking in the area.

The cabin was very large, updated, clean & nicely appointed with all the amenities you'd need. There is a lot of common space to spread out and plenty of sleeping quarters. It's in a very private wooded area with deer roaming the property. A perfect place for a family vacation. Owners were exceedingly responsive and helpful with any questions we had. I highly recommend this property!

We had so much fun as a family! The boys got to golf while the ladies got to visit local wineries. We got to sit around the kitchen table and play games. It was a great spot for a large family like ours!

Unfortunately the property was fenced off during our stay due to raising deer. It was nice seeing the deer but didn’t allow use of the back yard. The out building was disappointing because there were no lights or air conditioning. The house was rustic and appropriately decorated. It was perfect size for our family. Plenty of room for everyone. Just a word of advice about the stairs leading up to the upstairs bedrooms. My 26 year old granddaughter slipped coming down and bruised her hip and arm. My grandson was bitten by a spider (we don’t know if it was on porch or in house) and had to be treated with antibiotics when we got home.

We had a large group come for a weekend to Elk Ridge. The lodge is very nice. Plenty of different comfortable sleeping areas and a great stocked kitchen. It is very remote, tucked in the woods with plenty of privacy. Large wrap around decks with nice views. The owners are FANTASTIC! Very helpful/prompt with any issues that may arise. Two things future guests should know that are out of control of the owners - The outside is buggy. It is part of a farm so if you are not use to it bring repellant. The driveway is gravel and steep. Our vehicles did not have problems but it is a little tricky. Overall, a Wonderful Stay!

We celebrated my 30th birthday with family and friends this weekend and we had a wonderful experience. We had 13 people and there was plenty of room for everyone! Dave and Wendy were excellent hosts. We will be planning another trip to return in the future.

The house was what I expected from the listing. I wanted somewhere that I could take my kids and grandkids where we could all be together. Lots to do to keep everyone busy. The owners raise deer on the property and it was special to see them roaming near the house at feeding time.

Location - awesome/deer watching - great bonus/kitchen facility - wonderful to use - plenty of pots and dinnerware/sleeping areas - private for adults and great sleep over space for kids/bathrooms a plenty/activity pole barn gave parents quiet time/wifi was sketchy - oh well. We had a wonderful time and want to repeat again.

Great spot out in the woods! We have a large family and were all able to stay comfortably! Plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. The kids loved the basement set up where they all stayed. The owners are very helpful and were easy to get ahold of. The entire family enjoyed the place (even the teenagers). We would definitely go back!

House is great! Lots of room for everyone. Well accommodated! Everyone also really liked the big shed game room!! The hibachi grill inside came in handy for cooking for our group of 7adults and 6 kids! Only issue was steep driveway needed more rock. Would definitely go back!!

We will be back

Our group of friends wated to take our children to the French lick indoor waterpark. The hotel didn’t offer the space we needed to be able to hang out together so I looked into other options and found this house. It worked out MUCH better! Easy drive to the water park but still had the convenience of the home to hang out together. We throughly enjoyed the hibachi grill and quite more - the help of the owner. Dave is a great man and was there at any moment to assist us with the house or to show us his property he takes much pride in! Wendy was excellent to work with as well. My husband doesn’t particularly like going on vacation but we will be back- thanks to Dave!
