Hannah's Hideaway is a 2447 square foot luxury home located on 1.3 acres of land with 230 feet of lake frontage, large 2 slip covered boat dock, 1 slip with "Hydro-Hoist" boat lift, 2 Jet Ski drive on ports along with a large entertainment area and swim deck! We are located on a Little Dismal Creek. A Quiet, Low Traffic part of Lewis Smith Lake with great fishing, Kayaking and a YEAR ROUND deep water boat dock!

Our home has only 3 steps to the main floor and NO steps to bottom floor of the house when accessed from the lower porch. WE ARE PET FRIENDLY! The bottom floor is porcelain tile for easy care of pets. We request pets stay on the bottom floor or outside. We are located at the top of the inlet therefore little boat traffic or wakes. Perfect for Kayaking or Paddle Boarding. Two covered boat slips are available for guests with large swim platform and entertainment area. You can tie additional boats up to the large double dock. One slip has a "Hydro-Hoist" boat lift along Dual Jet Ski Drive On Ports available for your use. Direct TV service on 3 TVs in living room, master bedroom and downstairs recreation room. 75" big screen in the recreation room. High Speed Fiber Optic Internet Service. Don't miss the your favorite games while on vacation!

The main floor has a full kitchen, living room, gas fireplace, dining room, full service laundry room, full bathroom with tub/shower combination, full main floor bedroom with Queen bed new mattress (Feb 2021), large entrance foyer, large covered outside porch with nice outdoor furniture to enjoy a nice breakfast lunch or dinner, new propane fired grill on the covered deck, full windows facing the water for great lake views. Full outside upper and lower decks facing the water.

Upstairs floor has Two full bedrooms with New Queen Mattress (Feb 2021) in each bedroom and a large full bathroom with shower.

Lower level Master Bedroom has a King Size bed new mattress (Feb 2021), full bathroom with dual vanities, Jacuzzi Jet Bathtub and a Tiled shower. The master bedroom offers direct access to lower deck and a great view of the lake! The lower level also has a large recreation room completely remodeled in Mar 2021 with new Shiplap walls, 2 new built in bunk beds and 2 new Queen beds with Memory Foam Mattress and new 75" Flat Screen TV. Kids are safe on the lower level with the only exit on the lower floor through master bedroom or upstairs to the main floor.

Enjoy a six foot diameter fire pit on a cement pad with tables and chairs that overlooks the lake! The fire pit area has tables, chairs and great views of the lake at night. Solar lighting throughout exterior walkways. 110 volt GFCI electrical outlets at the fire pit and boat dock. Boat dock has full electric lighting. Room for parking 8-10 cars with a large cement circle driveway.

Our home has a New Gas Fired Tankless Hot Water Heater for instant and endless hot water on demand! Dishes, pots, pans, glasses, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, towels and linens are all available for your use. There is a second refrigerator located in the downstairs recreation room for those big family feasts! If you don't have a boat no problem! There are services on Smith Lake that will rent, deliver and pick up several different styles of boat for your enjoyment!

You have to see the lake home property to truly appreciate it! All Photographs are current photographs of the home, property and dock! Duncan Bridge Marina is only 8 miles away by vehicle to put your boat in the water and a quick 15 minute boat ride on the water back to your vacation getaway at Hannah's Hideaway!

Overall the house was very nice. It is in a very quiet part of the lake, very relaxing for a family vacation. Nice dock for hanging out with a good cove for kayaking and clean water for swimming. House was clean and has plenty of beds and good bathrooms. Two full-size refrigerators. Nice deck that is always at least partially shaded.

Our group of 10 thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We made the best of the rainy days by playing games and cheering on the USA teams at the Summer Olympics in Paris. We definitely made the best of our one day of sun. We hung out at the dock, swimming, floating on our floaty toys and riding our waverunners. We have agreed to come back again next summer.

We loved our stay at Hannah’s Hideaway! The location on the lake was so peaceful. The water was deep and the kids caught plenty of bluegill, sunfish, and catfish! The inside was clean and had enough room for all of us. We brought our boat and appreciated the boat lift. The boat lift operating instructions were missing so, that took us a little bit to figure out but it was no big deal! We look forward to returning!

Great way to kick off summer. The house was big enough to accommodate everyone comfortably. The fire pit area was great after a long day on the water. Plenty of chairs for everyone down by it. The grill does need to be replaced. We had planned two dinners using the grill and it was unusable. Was able to improvise using rhe open pit fire.

We had a family weekend at the lake in May, and it was lovely. The location is quiet and serene but has a couple of stores nearby for any needs. The doc is great for sunning & swimming and there are family friendly games available at the cabin. Bedding and towels very clean and plenty of them supplied. Great place for a crowd, and we cooked on site with no issues. The only flaws: the outdoors was not prepped well. Lots of spider/cobwebs that we knocked down in order to enjoy the deck furniture (which is awesome). There is a gas grill but not every burner worked for us so we ended up not grilling. And the outside of the grill had to be cleaned. It was covered in spring “gunk” that had to be removed. Downstairs shower mildew. Owners are super nice and they will promptly answer any questions.

We had the best time ever making memories at Hannah’s Hideaway! Perfect spot to relax and the view can’t be beat! Even though the fish weren’t biting we sure enjoyed the dock! The house was wonderful and the kitchen was very well stocked. I highly recommend staying at Hannah’s!

Beautiful location convenient to town and boat ramp. The lake house had everything we needed. We fished off the dock, we went boating, kayaking and, swimming in the lake. We relaxed around a bonfire in the fire pit at night. We played games every afternoon, they had a lot of games there to play. We took all our food for 6 people for the week and had plenty of room for drinks in the extra fridge. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the view. All had a great and most importantly, a stress free and relaxing time.

We had a great time at this home. The fishing spots by boat around the lake house area were great. The dock was nice and lit, and held our boats well. We enjoyed the fire pit area and loved the downstairs rec room and jacuzzi tub! The living room was small, and the driveway was extremely steep but outside of that...this is a great place to stay.

Our family enjoyed this beautiful and spacious home. As the weather was rainy but warm, we appreciated the covered porches. Sadly, the weather did not permit our planned marshmallow roast. I enjoy cooking, so the kitchen was a delight to me. It has everything! We are already planning a return visit in one year and wish to thank our hosts for a memorable vacation.

We had an amazing reunion with family from 3 states. Ages ranged from 24 to 91. Had time around the fire pit and card games at night. The younger group enjoyed hiking to natural bridge.

Needed a place we could be together without having to sit at table and bar. Thought there was space on lower level where big Tv was - but had to lay on beds 😔. We tried that but TV WOULD not work. Owner was quick to respond to our needs.

Thank you for the wonderful time! We went fishing with a wonderful guide, Capt. Keith Prather! We caught spotted and striper bass. Our son caught a 15# striper bass. We enjoyed the Ave Maria Grotto, and Carlton's restaurant in Cullman. We ate at La Plaza Bonita. It was really good. We explored Jasper, Double Springs, and Cullman. A great relaxing trip and just what we needed for Fall Break. The Needham's

Everything was as expected. It was our second year here. Plenty of room to just relax and even go for walks in the neighborhood. Be aware of dogs wanting to join especially if you are not a fan of their companionship. Plenty of diverse activities. Swimming, fishing, paddle boarding etc

Beautiful view, great swimming and boating. Home is well stocked for families to cook. We roasted marshmallows, and made s’mores in the big fire pit. Host was very responsive. Only note of caution is interior stairs if you have toddlers. There were gates in the house but still a concern. The Recreation room on the bottom floor was fantastic for older kids. This cabin was a great value for the price. I wish I could live there :)

Hannah's Hideway was a great place for our family to relax on Memorial Day Weekend. We loved sitting on the boat dock during the day and using the fire pit at night. We also brought our kayaks and enjoyed taking them out on the water. Hope to come back soon for another visit!

Our visit was wonderful. 8 family members celebrating and enjoying time with each other. The house provided ample outdoor seating. Indoor seating was smallish. Plenty of beds to accommodate us, though bedding could be updated (fitted sheets won't say on mattresses) Kitchen was well stocked with items needed to prepare meals. It was a lovely stay for all!
