El Lodge es una cabaña flotante gestionada por una familia realmente amable. La habitación estaba muy limpia, la atención del personal excelente y el desayuno delicioso. Hemos pasado unos dias muy auténticos en un lugar muy remoto y en plena naturaleza.

The family who owns the place, the transportation, the CARE these people have for others, their professed faith, the beautiful cabins, the DELICIOUS food, the convenience to town, and the cleanliness of the rooms.
There is nothing that we do not like about this place. It's one of our favorite places on this earth..

the family that runs the lodge are great and are very friendly. They made us feel at home. so relaxing and feel like you are far away from town even though it’s only a 5 minute boat ride to land where you can catch a taxi into town.

the location is breathtaking. The family that runs it is kind and sweet. This is the perfect place to relax and embrace nature at the end of a longer stay in the high amazon, or just to escape the crazyness von Iquitos without going too far away. Chill on a hammock, ride a cannoe and fish in the river.
I liked everything.

This was a very cool concept and we loved starting our Peru vacation this way. The people were great and it was such a cool location on the river. Great for one night!
Nothing that we didn't like. It's a floating lodge on a branch off the Amazon river. It's not a high end resort, But it was very comfortable and clean and the people were great!

We loved how friendly the family was at Amazon Oasis and they made us feel incredibly welcome. Although there was some language barrier, it was still easy to communicate everything that we needed to. Also, get the Chaufa!
When we got to the lodge, there were definitely a lot of bugs in certain areas of the room. While it was taken care of very quickly, it was a little jarring upon first arrival.

We were recommended to come to this place by friends. I have been to Iquitos three time however, it was the first time for my mother so I wanted to take her somewhere nice that would give her a true experience of the Amazon. This lodge is really lovely if you wish to relax on the actual river and go slow (i.e. do nothing!).
The rooms are lovely with big, comfortable beds. It is a small lodge with only 4 or 5 rooms so it is quiet and peaceful.
Matilda, the resident monkey, was without a doubt the highlight of our stay. She lives on the island and will come and visit you when you take the canoes for free.
Food is simple but nice and is a fair price.
The accomodation offers really minimal excursions. Iquitos has a lot of interesting places to visit, including animal rescue parks, which are things I have been seen in the past. However, this lodge does not offer tours to any of these places. Nor does it offer walks in the jungle or bird watching tours which is a shame as the Amazon is all about the nuture and being immersed in it.
I felt that this lodge did not allow us to see what the Amazon really has to offer.
Also, the rooms are lovely, but there is absolutely 0 privacy so couples should not expect to have a romantic stay here as the rooms are very close with transparent curtains.
Finally, pack earplugs! As the lodge is ON the water, you can hear the motorised boats going up and down the river all night. They sound like lawnmowers so packing earplugs will help you get a better sleep.

The family who operate the lodge were welcoming and helped me with everything! The food was amazing. Also, the location is perfect for connecting to nature in the amazon jungle. They have daily excursions and bring you anywhere you need to go. They also have canoes if you'd like to adventure on your own. And not to mention Matilda, the adorable monkey who hangs around in the jungle behind the lodge. Overall, my favorite experience in Peru!

It is a wonderful place to visit In the middle on Amazon rain forest. A true lifetime experience..
.
I found I was double charged for my stay at this place by Booking.com since I registered as one person but been charged as two persons by Booking.com software. Besides, I am at Genius 2 level. I tried to contact Booking.com but found no correct or accessible email address for this. I need a partial refund otherwise this is a perfect vacation trip for me.

This was the most perfect place to go relax after a busy first week+ of trekking thru mountains in Peru. We spent everyday napping in hammocks and listening to the jungle sounds. You are on a raft in the middle of a river, there will be bugs, but honestly they didn't bother us! I think we got one mosquito bite between the 2 of us. I'm a vegetarian and they made me delicious food every day, it was never the same. It was always wonderful! We called this trip Amazon-lite. We didn't really get to walk in the jungle, but we did see wild life. I feel deeply and madly in love with the local monkey Matilda. I miss her still! The 2 outings we went on felt very "touristy" but I'm happy we did them. These bungalows were painstakingly made by the family that lives on the raft. I can feel the pride in their work. It really is an experience like no other. I will remember it always.
I speak next to no Spanish. I've been trying to learn but it hasn't happened yet. We had tried to sign up for their outings on WhatsApp but something got lost in translation and we never ended up booking their "all inclusive" experience. What we did instead was ask to join along with some outings and pay extra for the food we did order (lunch and dinner). It actually all worked out great as we didn't feel like we needed to run around all day, and instead read 2 books each in 2 days while laying in hammocks and canoeing around their site. But, if you are looking to do the all inclusive set that up in advance with them directly, and speak Spanish. They don't speak English but they will do everything in their power to understand you. I hope to go back in a year or so with my Spanish skills in tact!

It was very relaxing, beautiful place. I enjoyed the solitude and the privacy of my own little outdoor area. The service, food, and scenery were all great.

Lovely lodge on the river, surprisingly dense of animals given the closeness to Iquitos. Quite calm area, ideal for a canoe trip. Very friendly stuff that provided transportation from Iquitos and good food. Highly recommended.
Few boats pass nearby, gotta be careful while canoeing. Wi-fi is barely usable.

This is an amazing place filled with wonderful people. It is super clean, food is fantastic. The most important thing is that it is run by a family and they are all super helpful. They are flexible, friendly and kind. Highly recommended

What an amazing and unique oasis of tranquility! Small and family-run, which is probably why the staff is super friendly. A perfect place to relax and to connect with nature. They even have canoes that you can take out and explore the area for no extra cost. Transportation was very well organized and included in the price, completely hassle free. Pictures don't really do this place justice, you have to experience it.

When I arrived with my fiancé at Amazon Oasis we could feel the warmth of home, from the owner to the people who transported us in the boats, they made us feel very good, giving us the security that we would be safe with them as co-pilots, each bungalow has a small canoe and its chaclecos save lives, it also has its own small personal living room, amacas, to enjoy with your partner, family and friends, we were able to enjoy these small canoes every afternoon, the beautiful sunset that we saw from our room (they were too clean and comfortable), the owner himself gave us options for tours according to our economic status, we were able to interact with many animals and being very sure that we would be safe. It was a wonderful experience to disconnect from the world (there is no cell phone signal), but I really enjoyed the stay. I really recommend AMAZON OASIS, it is an excellent place and of great quality in all aspects.
+The food was very nice, very well cooked and with the right portions (but I think they could include more typical dishes of the city)
We have not found something negative or something that we do not like, we simply went with all the encouragement to enjoy this moment of nature and completely disconnect from the city and we fulfilled our objective.

Cesar and his family go out of their way to make your stay everything you want it to be. The are truly the nicest people you will meet in Iquitos. They arranged pickup from my hotel in Iquitos and took me directly to my bungalow. They made sure we had plenty to do by offering tours to even offering water sports like water ski or tubing on the property. Each bungalow is equiped with a small little canoe! I loved taking a little sunset journey to meet Matilda, the property's pet monkey. She is super adorable and will just jump on the canoe with you. The hammocks were top! The beds were super comfortable, a little firm a little soft- just right! The facilities overall are very impressive. Complimentary breakfast was delicious and nutritious. They also offer a full menu for lunch and dinner. I had the pollo a la plancha (grilled checken) and it was amazingly tasty!! You need to try it with the onion salsa- so good!! The entire family is super sweet and will make sure you have a great (and safe) time.
Everything was great. If you live off of the internet you might have a little trouble connecting because it is relatively far away from the city. They do offer wifi, but its not the fastest but I am so thankful for the connection. It is the jingle afterall, the point is to disconnect and relax a little.

The whole scene was a fantasy. A floating and unique way to spend time in the Peruvian jungle. I was endlessly entertained by the water life, the boat buses, the river taxis, the fish, Matilda the monkey and her habitat, the lodge dwellers, the sounds of silence, the star littered sky, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc.
You'll have to get back to me on this!

Great location on the water with your own floating 'luxurious' hut on the water. Very friendly and helpful staff offering delicious amazonian food and very interesting private tours to jungle wildlife and meeting indigenous tribes. I really enjoyed my stay at Amazon Oasis Floating Lodge!

Amazing location, close to Iquitos. The family that host the Lodge is so nice and it’s a real privilege to talk and share moments with them.
The room is spotless, the food is super good (especially the ceviche).
The excursion to understand more the insects, the Yagua Tribe and the walk in the Forest was super great.
We do recommend the Amazon Floating Lodge !

I absolutely loved my visit to the Amazon Oasis Lodge. I went with my wife, son, daughter and two grand children. From fishing off the patio and delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinner, to visiting a native community, an animal rehabilitation center, playing with the local monkeys, and watching the pink dolphins of the Amazon at sunset were memories that the staff at the Amazon Oasis Lodge made happen for us, and I'll cherish them forever! We went in July, and even though I stayed out on the deck well after dark each night, mosquitoes were not a problem at all for any of us. My family loved the breakfast (especially the salsa :-) and dinner was fantastic as well.
I couldn't imagine a more comfortable or scenic setting to experience the Amazon river and jungle. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the noise of the occasional outboard boat chugging past the lodge.

Right on the river with amazing view from balcony. Excellent value. Room is quite nice with comfortable beds and is very clean. Staff provides free water and burns mosquito coils. Good mosquito nets. Free pickup from iquitos by 10min speedboat and can arrange paid taxi to airport.
Not a problem for us but there was noise from the frequent speedboats using the river where the lodge is located (on a tributary). Keep in mind that there is no hot water or wifi.

Location was excellent, close enough to Iquitos, but far enough away to feel in the wild. View was really beautiful. Food was amazing and the staff were very helpful and friendly, they helped us on customised several tours. (From spanish speakers)
Couldn't have asked for anything More!

I really can't summarize my experience of staying at this lodge. Cesar arranged airport pickup and drop off near the docks for me, where he met with me and we took the boat to the lodge. When I arrived, I was the only guest for the first 2 nights of my 3 night stay, which I initially felt nervous about (as a solo female traveler), but the brothers who run the lodge are incredible hosts who fed me well and made me feel welcome. I went on daytime excursions on the river and in the jungle with Luis, who always made me feel comfortable.
As far as the atmosphere at the lodge, it is tranquil, quiet, and felt just shy of staying at an expensive resort. There's hammocks and chaises for just relaxing, and you can even swim in the river (which I did!). My bungalow was huge, had a lovely little bathroom, and I was embraced by the sounds of the jungle at nighttime.
I cannot recommend this place enough. If you have ever considered visiting the Amazon rainforest and want a personalized experience, you need to stay here. I will be back!
