About this apartment rental
Tired of the usual motel room with noisy neighbors? Yamhill Valley Cottage is a 350 sq. ft. detached studio apartment with all the comforts of home. Not only does it include a kitchenette with sink, microwave, refrigerator, convection oven and double burner, but also dishes, silverware and cooking utensils. And there's a small eating area with bar stools and pendant lighting when restaurants become tiresome and soup and sandwiches sound just as tasty.
The living area is warm and inviting. Perfect for weary travelers to kick back and catch their breath before the next day's adventure. The American Leather sleeper sofa opens into a queen bed with a very comfortable mattress. Note: You will have to put the sheets on the bed yourself. This particular sofa bed cannot be closed with the bed already made.
The cottage includes cable TV and WiFi because even though you may want to drop out of life for awhile, it's still nice to stay in touch with the outside world on your terms.
The bathroom has a shower stall complete with soap and towels to wash off the day's dust. There is also a stackable washer and dryer for longer stays when laundry is a necessity.
When weather permits, there is a nice deck and chairs to sit in to drink a glass of wine or cup of coffee and smell the fresh air of the Yamhill Valley. The studio is set back off the street for peace and privacy.
Yamhill Valley Cottage is a 10 minute walk through quaint neighborhoods to downtown McMinnville and the perfect rental for budget conscious travelers who still want to enjoy the comforts of home away from home.

Clean, comfortable and very functional tiny home. It had everything a traveling couple needs. Our host Stephanie was amazing. Friendly, welcoming and so very kind. Our first night we ran out of gas near the house. Messaged Stephanie via the app and she went out of her way to come pick me up and give a me a ride to an auto parts store to get a gas can and to the gas station. Could not ask for more.

I had my dog with me as we travelled all over Oregon. I have very good friends in McMinnville and wanted to be somewhat close to them and to the old downtown area, too.
This was the easiest and most satisfying place I could possibly find. A true TREASURE.
The host was so friendly and kind. Everything was immaculate and comfortable. I would recommend this little cottage a hundred times over.
Thank you Stephanie.

We stayed at this property for 3 days and it worked out just fine. The amenities met our expectations and was comfortable. Keep in mind that this is a small footprint so best for no more than 2 adults. The sofa bed will need to be made each day to have room for socialization. The bathroom is pretty tight at the sink but still usable. There is another usable sink in the main room. Overall, I will stay here again due to the cleanliness, location and price. Thanks

This cottage is exactly as it looks and is described on the website. Definitely recommended for the solo traveler! It could work for a couple too. Stephanie is a wonderful host and has made this place as charming as can be! Will definitely choose this again when traveling solo to visit my daughter. Nicely decorated and well-located near McMinnville’s charming city center.

A small but very clean cottage, well stocked and comfortably accommodates 2 adults. The pull out is a queen size and has a nice mattress. The unit is well stocked and is very close to the small town of McMinnville. I would stay here again.

Cozy little house fit for 1 or 2. Short ~0.5 mile walk to 3rd Street where all the wine tasting rooms and restaurants are, but without the exorbitant prices of some of the other homes in the area

Very clean and although small, had everything we needed for a comfortable two day stay while we helped and then attended a dear friend’s daughter’s wedding. Fun bright decor. Stephanie welcomed us with her huge smile. We hope we left it in great shape because we would love to see others also enjoy this cozy studio

We had a great stay at Stephanie’s cottage! It is little and has a pull out sofa, but that is exactly what she describes in her listing. Check in was easy. Stephanie came right away to meet us and even sent me some recommendations for wineries and restaurants. The location is a perfect walk to downtown and a quick drive to some of the best wineries in Willamette Valley. Stephanie’s place is a fantastic value; we would stay again!

Everything was as stated and Stephanie took the time to introduce herself which was very nice as that hasn’t happened before.
The bed wasn’t comfortable but the stay def was. Room is very welcoming and having the washer/dryer was a plus.

I loved staying at this place. The neighborhood is really nice, perfect for walking my dog. Every detail is taken care of. Good tv, speedy internet (I had to work part of my stay), w/d, and a nice toaster oven. The pullout sofa for sleeping is a bit tough for two people but is fine for just one. Extremely flexible and accommodating host. Highly recommend and hope to stay again.
