About this house rental
Daisy’s Place is an affordable, family-friendly vacation rental located in the heart of the beautiful Carneros Wine Region. Built in the late 40s, Daisy’s was originally a farmhouse in a pear orchard. The house has been updated with a spacious covered redwood deck surrounds 3 sides of the house. Also surrounding the house on 2 sides is a creek studded with the stately old live oaks native to our region, and hundreds of acres of vineyards lie beyond the creek. Native flowers and lots of lawn space complete the landscape. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and comfortably sleeps 6 guests, but can accommodate 8 guests. Daisy's is fully furnished with all the amenities, including forced air heating and air conditioning.
While Daisy's is situated in a peaceful country setting, it is conveniently close to both the towns of Sonoma and Napa. If you are interested in walking around the historic Sonoma Plaza, there many different shops and activities to be found, from antiquing, wine tasting, art galleries, shopping for unique gifts or you can enjoy some of the finest dining establishments.
Napa is only about 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy the Wine Train, the Napa Opera House or the shopping at the unique Oxbow Public Market, where you can taste some fine wine, exquisite cheeses, superb coffee, and many other local delicacies.
For the outdoor enthusiast, Daisy's is perfect for cycling where you can ride for many miles on long country roads with little traffic and will experience some of the most breathtaking views overlooking the valley.

This home in Sonoma is simple, conveniently located and had everything we needed for our family's weekend stay. We were using this home as overflow space & spent most of our time at another nearby home.
The beds are comfortable, the porch outside the house is lovely to sit on and has an excellent view. And the host is very kind and accessible in case you need anything. Would recommend this location unless you are looking for a place that has lots of amenities.

Right next to Napa Valley.

The home was cozy and spacious enough for our needs. We enjoyed the vineyards and wildlife we were able to view from the large glass doors and windows in the living area. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing place to hang out.

My wife and I loved this place! So serene and peaceful. Easy access to experience the area. Wine Vinyards, Napa and Sonoma.
Host was really accommodating.
Property was well kept. Adequate kitchen and baths. Very comfortable beds. Ample parking. Great central air. We spent most of the time enjoying The 3-sided covered deck. Highly recommend this property
Nicely kept yard with serene views of vinyard, field & trees
Very private too.

Fantastic place to stay! It was close to everything we went to in Sonoma. A very quiet location to relax and decompress! Definitely would recommend and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay. What a quiet place close to Sonoma. The house has everything one would need.

Host was kind and easy to work with. The location is reasonably close in proximity to downtown Sonoma and we had easy access to Napa. The interior walls could use a coat of paint, but it was not a big deal. Beds were comfy, and we had a great stay overall.

Great location, great weather, thank you

The location was peaceful and a short drive to downtown Sonoma however the place was not clean. Dirty pans in the oven, dirty dishes in the cabinets, rusty fry pan, leaky toilet, torn kitchen curtains. It was very disappointing.

A family member was getting married at a nearby winery. Perfect for our group. Relaxing morning view of hot air balloons, roosters and vineyards.

The house was clean and spacious, Ed was very responsive and helpful. Thanks for the hospitality!

Daisy's place is a beautiful, quiet older home at a dead end. The home still has a lot of the original furnishings and is a bit like stepping back in time! Super comfy beds, a clean kitchen, 2 bathrooms and a beautiful wrap around porch. We spent time out there in the evenings enjoying the breeze! Close enough to tour vinyards but located so you felt you were the only people for miles! Stocked with conimenrs, coffee sugar, spices, paper goods and lots of extra towels and bedding! It feels like you are staying at a friends or relatives home! The hosts are suoer responsive and easy to communicate with. If this is the vibe for you, we highly recommend it! Woukd definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful and relaxing two days here. Would definitely come back

We came out for a friendship reunion. The property was great. Owner was very nice and the check in was easy. The carpet in the common areas could use a little TLC and there was a bit of a musty smell through the house. Maybe the age of the home but everything was provided, beds clean, kitchen had all the amenities needed. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again! Thank you Ed for letting us enjoy your property!

This cute little house is perfectly located for a weekend full of winery visits! Communication with Ed was easy and timely. Fit our party of 4 ladies just right. Loved the huge deck outside too! Will definitely come back!

Ed’s place is a perfect location for a quiet and peace in the location can’t be beat. Rustic simple accommodations, but very comfortable and adequate for all our needs. We especially loved relaxing in the wraparound patio. In the shade, Three couples traveling together, enjoying a long wine country weekend! Cheers!

Great location, quiet, very comfortable beds, lots of of seating, well equipped kitchen. This is not a place of luxury, just a nice relaxed house where you don’t have to worry about the children knocking something over. Also loved the big wrap around deck with vineyard views!

Rustic, quiet, rural setting. Great outdoor seating. Beds were very comfortable. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Ed was very nice and accomodating. Had space to park our large camper. Close to wineries and beautiful vineyard surrounding landscape

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We were there with our four kids and there was plenty of sleeping room and everything we could’ve needed was supplied.
4.8
The house was as described in the description. It’s a very large space in a great location. For some people, the place may be too rustic and it’s not modern, but it suited us just perfectly. The host was really great and checking up on us.

We had a lovely stay at Daisy's place for a weekend! Everything was comfortable -- we didn't need much from the owners but felt confident they would promptly respond to any requests!
4.8
Do yourself a favor and stay here! Owners are very accommodating and the house had everything we needed. We will definitely be booking again.

To wake up in the middle of wine vineyards was a pleasure, enjoying coffee on the porch with an amazing view. Easy travel to Napa and Sonoma from this location. I would rate the property equivalent to a 3 Star hotel. We enjoyed the property and would return.

Wonderful location—easily accessible and convenient to access vineyards and town of Napa. Host was responsive and welcoming, properly was very comfortable. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful country setting overlooking a vineyard from our deck every morning. So quiet and peaceful. Convenient location to both Sonoma and Napa. Comfy beds. Host furnished coffee and basic cooking items—spices, oils, etc. Frozen mugs were a nice touch. Met the host, Ed, who was super nice and helpful. We all loved the experience!

It was a little difficult to find in the dark, but it was just perfect! A bit rural so it was very quiet and peaceful. The best mattress’ of any VRBO we’ve stayed in. Surrounded in 2 sides by vineyards. We loved it!!
4.8
Ed’s place was very convenient for our stay in wine country. It was close to the wineries we wanted to visit and was on a quiet street. The home is a little outdated, but it was overall a nice place to stay.

Great experience

The place was clean the beds were comfortable. We were most impressed with the extra considerations Ed provided. Like coffee, tea, sugar good paper towels and toilet paper.

This property had plenty of room for our family and the setting was pretty. Unfortunately, this property needs updating and repairs. The back bedroom needs a new mattress; there was a torso-sized dip in it that my brother had trouble getting out of. It was also very squeaky every time he moved. That bedroom had a corner shower. On the floor was a Flex seal patch that felt very stretchy and no one wanted to step on it for fear of falling through the floor. The other shower was missing a shower head. The worst part for us was the smell. The whole house smelled like SKUNK. We could see where skunks had a path coming and going under the porch and most likely had a den under the house. The front bedroom was a skunk bomb. When I texted the property manager about these things that needed to be addressed, he didn't seem concerned or apologetic.

Ed was very welcoming and the location is perfect in terms of being close to the action in multiple directions!
4.8
My friends and I came for a weekend of wine tasting. Daisy’s Place was perfect. It was centrally located to the spots we wanted to visit. Quiet, off the main road. The rooster wakes early though.😉The only suggestion we have is to replace the shower heads and look at the water pressure. Otherwise it was great! Thank you!
4.8
Spacious and perfect for relaxing on the front porch. Fully stocked house made it easier for us to enjoy Sonoma and the surrounding area.
Thank you

The back yard view of the grape vines alone is worth the cost. The kitchen is completely equipped with cooking tools, dinnerware, and silverware. Laundry facilities on the back porch. Would love to return in about 5 years for my 60th.

Daisy’s place is great for families
Daisy’s place worked well for myself and my family, we booked it to attend a wedding at a winery just a couple of miles away, very convenient, great views of the vineyards from the wrap deck and space for little ones to run around. Thank you Ed for the stay
