Great location, walkable to Old City, Katamon, Baka. Also 5min walk from key bus routes. Apartment was charming, kitchen worked well, beds were comfy and the owner David was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We had a great 4 night stay. Coffee shop vanilla bean nearby also recommended.

Very quiet and peaceful area, friendly and helpful hosts.

The host was very kind and helpful.
The bathroom door did not close, there were no curtains on the windows as pictured, and there was no comfortable place to sit and relax except the bed. The floor boards were uneven and loose as well. These small repairs would make the place much happier.

We stayed here for three nights an everything was absolutely fabulous. The main bedroom has very big and comfortable bed, another room for a child is like a real room for a child. With lots of interesting books and toys, so our daughter was busy with them for some time. There are also lots of books in the lobby, but they are in french, so i guess owners are connected with France. That also confirms France's ex President photo in the kitchen. Location is good. Neighborhood looks very nice and safe. I walked around in the evening. There is possible to keep car in the street, we allways found a place. And it is free at night time. Owner David also suggested a free parking spot 300metres away, we used it too and it was very convenienet and nice to save few shekels for parking. Owner David was very nice and even suggested us how to drive to dead sea. So we used the shortest way straight to dead sea and it was ok. Before speaking with David I was planing to go the long way all around Palestinian teritory. Taxi Gett price from the apartment to the top of Ollive Mountain cost 18eur.

Stayed there before. Other appartement near ours we rented now. Bigger apartment is much better including garden and fully equipped kitchen, including dining table. Actually for 5 persons. WE were now with 4 so I hoped the smaller apartment was as good as the bigger. It is wonderfully situated near the old city. Supermarket 10 minutes walk. Beds are good.
The kitchen was poorly and no real place like a living room. We ate in the bedroom. Garden belongs actually to the bigger apartment. As long as there is no one you are allowed to use the garden. We got a parking ticket on Sunday. However I asked many times how parking was arranged. On Shabbat it is free parking. Saturday evening we moved the car 300 metres further where it was said was for free during the week. Which was the case 5 years ago. But it was not anymore. Ticket 25 euro and no help from the David from the apartment. My Israeli friend payed the ticket because the website to pay is not working abroad. I hoped on a little help from David in helping us to pay the ticket and a sorry for the wrong information.

Excellent location. David was an excellent host.
it needs an update. The apartment is totally different as the Booking pictures. The floor, doors, carpet, bathroom, etc are old and definitely needs to be taking care of it.

Everything was perfect, the owner was very kind. We got a ticket from police because of a bad parking and he payed it and then we gave him the money, he was very helpful. Staying there was a very good expierence.

Lovely 2 bedroom apartment in Jerusalem. Great location, 20 minute walk to the shuk and the old city. Check-in was easy.
Smelled a bit moldy when we first walked in but we got used to the smell quickly.

The location is fantastic. The neighborhood is beautiful and historical. The apartment is spacious. The host is a great communicator. Very good value for families with kids or parties with more than 2 people.
The pictures on the site were probably taken a while ago. It is now a bit worn and could use fresh paint. The beds are not super comfortable but adequate. If you keep kosher beware: both silverware sets are identical.

We liked a special atmosphere and the equipment of the apartment. It is situated in a beautiful neighborhood very close to the old city.

The apartment is situated in a very nice residential area, the beds are comfortable, the hosts - very kind and super helpful.
Theres isn't any desk or table for work, but we used one of the stone windowsills, so it was not a problem.

Location is excellent, apartment in a quiet neighborhood but close to the Old City and the Center.
Master bedroom is a good size and includes AC for heating and cooling.
The apartment was very clean and nicely decorated.
The shower is above the bathtub and does not have a shower curtain but only a very small glass partition. Hence the floor becomes wet when showering and the toilet and sink are very close to the bathtub . So if you need to use either of them after someone has showered, your feet will get wet.

We loved the charming location, the beds were comfortable, the area is central and still very quiet, the property owner was very kind and attentive to our questions. The apartement definitely is inspired by the atmosphere of the French savoir vivre and has some important facilities. We arrived during the winter and the apartement had a nice and warm temperature.
We had as much towels and bed sheet sets as we desired, I would have appreciated to have newer sets.

Superb location in a very nice and quiet neighborhood!
Walking distance from city center, the old city and the German Templer Colony.
There are no reading lamps by the bed.
Would have been nice if the landlord had left some tea or coffee in the kitchen.

Price, location, accessibility. The owner of the apartment was extremely accommodating and offered to help us in any way he could....and he did this multiple times. The A/C and internet worked well. And, although there was no TV, there was a large collection of books en français et bívrit.
A microwave oven in the kitchen would have been helpful. Because the kitchen was not kosher, we limited ourselves to cold food only.

The location was good. Walkable to cafe's and our daughter's apartment.
No outdoor seating area as was promised when the reservation was completed. Paid parking on street of the property. Free parking was 3 to 4 blocks away and rarely were free spaces available. Apartment had no common area as promised.

The location is great, but the apartment is in need of a renovation
Apart from the beds, everything was outdated and old and some appliances malfunctioning.
Essentials are missing . Infested by ants and other flying insects. Some furniture could do well in a flee market.
It does not deserve the name Pearl in Talbiye

Thank you
