Nice secluded location. Would recommend for a nice quiet stay

We love everything about this cabin. Location, hot tub, layout and the beds were very comfortable.
Will rent again!

The cabin was secluded like we wanted, but the hot tub didn’t work and we were never once told that even after booking, Asked to be moved and was never moved. That’s one of the reasons for booking this cabin, it had a hot tub. waited to hear from the local team all weekend and heard nothing out of them, Still waiting to hear from the local team. Tv also didn’t work half the time it kept losing signal. had hit and miss cell service.

Overall, we had a great time staying at the cabin. It was clean and spacious and had most of everything that was needed.
We had trouble locating the correct street as the street sign was down on the ground and no distance was provided from the RV Park mentioned in the directions.
We had a bit of trouble accessing the lockbox as it wasn't working correctly but finally gained access.
When we wanted to use the hot tub on the first evening, we discovered the temperature was 79 and not ready for our use. We were able to use it the following morning. The hot tub is in need of repair as only a few jets were actually working.
We loved the privacy of location but still close to town and other areas to visit. We definitely enjoyed our stay!

Worries and stay here !

Great cabin. Enjoyed our time. Would stay here again.

The cabin was just what we asked for. A home away from home. My family and I expected to enjoy the city and city adventures but we also found ourselves enjoying the cleanliness and comfiness of the cabin. The staff communicated with us the entire stay. We would not hesitate to book another visit.

The cabin is lovely. It was well equipped with all the kitchen gadgets you could ask for. Beds were comfortable, homes were nice and clean. Drive way is very steep just as described. We felt like we were away from it all. Would for sure return.

We loved the location, so close to many towns, restaurants, parks & shopping! Having a fire pit with a few logs upon arrival was just so thoughtful! Hot tub always ready for use, & indoor fireplace was icing on the cake! Well stocked kitchen & bathrooms along with a washer & dryer, makes this home a great vacation rental!

Close to Helen and in a great location. House has a great layout and everything you need for a short stay. House and property needs some TLC (deep cleaning and yard maintenance). Driveway is very steep!

What a treat this cabin was. Clean, homey, and secluded. It was a 10 minute drive to Helen. Jacuzzi tub was in excellent shape. Enjoyed waking up early and making coffee on the Keurig sitting in the screen room listening to mother nature wake up. We did get hit with a bad thunder storm at night and lost power for a few minutes. One suggestion would be to have some candles tucked away in case of power outage. We'll definitely be back!

Always pleased with my Vrbo rental. Always clean and I always feel safe. Price is good and I will rent again from Vrbo.

Clean well maintained & good location close to Helen

The property needs to be advertised as to make people aware that it is steep getting up to the cabin. The ad only said that 4 wheel drive was recommended in the Winter. It was actually stressful trying to go in and out each day. The wood floor was dirty throughout the whole cabin. Other then that, the cabin was nice.

We were very pleased with the rental process. We had never rented a cabin before. We would definitely rent again with you.

Property was very well stocked , beds were very comfortable, hot tub was very clean, parking was very easy and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Timber top cabin . We couldn't get the TV in one of the bedrooms and they were prompt in correcting the problem. The furniture in the living room is a little worn and needs replacing but overall I highly recommend this property

Very nice clean cabin. It met all our needs.

The cabin location was great. We drove over 100 miles to get to the cabin to be told we couldn’t get in until 5-5:30 instead of 4-4:30. The bed in the bedroom closest to the front door didn’t have the sheets changed. There were crumbs and stains on the sheets. The couch was full of crumbs. We took the cushions off and there were crackers everywhere. There was also food on the chairs at the small table in the kitchen. We also found Doritos chips behind the toilet in the main bathroom. We were very disappointed. Maybe someone needs to spot check after the cabin has been “cleaned”. Also, we had to drive 3 miles out of our way to drop off trash.

Amazing
The cabin was absolutely amazing. Clean, spacious and it had everything you could need. We only stayed 2 nights, but it was a wonderful 2 nights. We will definitely return next time we go on a vacation.

Drive was steep and car dragged (have a suv) ..floor wasn't clean. my dog had a black and white toy. The toy was filthy in about 30 minutes Refrigerator was very loud and ran almost the whole time we were there. .Stove eyes ---underneath the silver rings food was burnt on to the stove and was black. Found a hair on the mattress cover. The door had been attacked by another dog that was trying to get out anything could have crawled in. Tub had been patched where two holes were. At least the bed were very pretty. Sofa n love seat was worn out. No recliner. flood light would not stay on kept going off. We left a day early. Would have stayed longer if cleaner. Air conditioner wasn't working. Repairman show up immediately.
Cabin was cleaner when we left. Needs some updating.

Copious amounts of loose dust on the floor, esp. near the HVAC vents. Floors not at all well cleaned. Broken dining chair threw my grandson to the floor and hurt his head. Several of the spindles on the front steps completely loose on the bottom.

Awful drive way.

My husband, daughter, small pup and I spent a few nights at Timber Top. It was peaceful and relaxing. Cabin was very clean and smelled great (no musty cabin smell). It had everything we needed- fully stocked kitchen including a large crock pot. Couches were comfy and spacious.
Recommend bringing your own camping chairs for the outside fire pit. Great WiFi!
Beds were comfy but the bed in the room closest to the back porch makes a lot of squeaking noise if you have a restless partner who tosses and turns all night. Jacuzzi was good enough for us- only one corner of the jets (out of 4) worked well but it was fine- we took turns in that spot. We were a short drive to Anna Ruby falls which is a nice hike on a paved trail. Note they charge $5 per adult to enter. Also close to Unicoi which had lots of hiking trails. Downtown Helen was neat to hang out for a day. We enjoyed eating at Big Daddy’s restaurant- friendly staff, good service and delicious food. We will be back and definitely recommend staying here- spacious enough for 2 couples.

Cabin was clean but the hot tub cover needs to be replaced badly. Both coffee pots quick working last day and we are coffee lovers in morning. Had a hard time getting in cabin 3 codes. Leak under bathroom sink while we were there .Not sure want to stay in there for that price again.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Blue Ridge mountains in this cozy cabin. It was generally clean, nicely decorated, private, and close in proximity to many things we wanted to see. Four stars overall on account of the fact that the cabin could use some updating…specifically, the mattresses are extremely uncomfortable, kitchen utensils could be replenished/updated and the hot tub is old and needs servicing (temp was fine, but not many of the jets worked and the cover was extremely heavy for one person to maneuver). Overall we enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay.

Great cabin, private and off the beaten path but right by Unicoi Park. The leaves were changing colors and it was beautiful. No wood but not to worry there is a nice old gentleman that sells wood a few hundred yards when you turn right on 356!
