Stayed in 3 places. Started in Lead SD. Then went to Silver Star MT. Then went to Whitefish MT to this house. Had a great time at all 3 places.

We enjoyed or stay very much. Quiet and secluded yet easy access to town and airport. Beautiful setting and comfortable home with many amenities. We spent time in Glacier National, but also trails much closer at Tally lake which had lookouts. Would highly recommend this spot if you are looking for a get away with alternatives.

Our stay was more than we could ask for! The website pictures don't do it justice (this was repeated as each of our children arrived). Heidi was so helpful and friendly on check in, check out, and in between. We loved the canoe, 4 wheeling the backroads, the solitude and the hot tub. We loved Tally Lake and Whitefish. Our littles had room to run. What a great vacation spot!

We enjoyed the spacious house and the following amenities: soaking in the hot tub, playing billiards, and hiking down to Logan creek. We drove down to Tally lake (~6 miles) for swimming and drove the Sanko creek road. The roads were fully of deer and other wildlife. We also visited Glacer National Park (1hr-15minutes) away and spend time in Whitefish and Onley visiting family.

Everything at the property was great. Very clean and well kept. The home is fairly secluded and away from town but it didn't bother us at all. We enjoyed being able to check out from everything for a week. Plenty of outdoor activities in the area. The Talley Lake Overlook hike which is a short 10 minute drive away was one of the group favorites.

Everything was amazing!! We were a group of 12 family as couples, so 6 couples total. Plenty of room for everyone in the family room with pool table, kitchen (table expands to seat 12), and sleeping space. Great communication with property manager on check in. Hot tub was wonderful. Location is beautiful and private. Only reason for a 4 is that is a bit of a drive (60-90 minutes) to most things. Overall we couldn’t have been happier!!

Amazing property with everything you need to get away from it all. This is not close to town! But we wanted it away from everything so it worked perfectly!

Flexible floorplan
Our party consisted of 4 adults and three children ages 10,9, and 7. The kids stayed in the basement with the two queen beds. It was perfect and the adults stayed on the main floor.

Star Meadow area is remote and beautiful
Directions to place did not have correct mileage, and we were told to call from a certain location where there was no cell service . Luckily we found the rental on our own.

You’re very peaceful Trenkle setting. The house is 40 minutes out of town which is a little further than I had liked but that was my fault for not checking out ahead of time.

Beautiful Place for our Family Trip
Our children met us in Montana. There was plenty of space for 8 of us. Nice driveway to park our motorhome while we stayed. Tom met us and gave us a tour. He was very welcoming. Great kitchen and large table for meals and games. We enjoyed the sauna, hot tub and pool table. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Family vacation 2021
Our family of 10 stayed in the cozy & welcoming cabin for the week and fell in love with the atmosphere & Montana beauty. Tom & Heidi were wonderful with inviting us into John and Ann’s beautiful home, and giving us the best MT recommendations. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed and VERY clean! We were thankful to have a family breakfast every morning at the large table & enjoy the hot tub in the cool evenings. Highly recommend this cabin & hope to come back again soon.

Peaceful
We had a great time! The house was very clean and spacious, we had 6 adults and 3 children with room to spare. Tom and Heidi were wonderful and gave lots of tips while out there. Canoeing down the creek was so peacful. Very pleased with our time there.

Peaceful isolation
Our group of 12 had a great time at the cabin. It was comfortable and had plenty of space. The drive back and forth to Glacier felt much longer than I anticipated (we did it 3 times), but there is a lot of other exploring and hiking to do in the area. We didn’t have any luck fishing in the stream, but did see lots of wildlife including tons of deer and a black bear. Tom and Heidi were very helpful and knowledgeable of the area! The kids loved visiting the horses across the road and seeing the deer in the yard every morning. Great deck area around the hot tub for relaxing after the kids went to sleep.

Best time in Montana
Our son got married on the property and it was beautiful! Tom and Heidi made sure that my family had everything we needed and were so responsive and insightful with things to do in the area. The hot tub was well maintained; our young daughter learned how to play pool; the grounds provided much space for our son's dog; the family was able to spread out with room to spare. We had a very relaxing vacation at the Star Meadow cabin and highly recommend families to stay there, away from the noise and usual tourist spots. Whitefish is not too far away when some time in town is needed. 5-star!

Enjoyed the Log Cabin
It was spacious for our family of 12. Family enjoyed the pool table and we were hoping to see the grizzly bear that was in the area, but we did not. Overall would recommend it!

Awesome Property
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin itself is spacious and comfortable, and we really, really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. If you are someone that enjoys nature, we would definitely recommend taking the the provided canoe up the creek and/or just cruising around the backroads in the area, we saw a ton of wildlife during our stay.

Amazing Vacation
The house was perfect! Log cabin with beautiful wood floors and with all modern amenities. We saw deer on the property several mornings and late evenings right on the property. Quiet, serene and plenty of room for all. We used the hot tub and sauna every night. Just an amazing home!!

Great family vacation in this beautiful cabin!
Our family had such a fun time at this beautiful log cabin. Check in was very organized and great people. So cozy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was so relaxing to sit in. We almost wished there wasn't so much to do in the area because we could of just stayed at the house the whole time it was so nice! Thank you for the great Montana vacation our family will always remember.

Seclusion and privacy with class
We had 12 people stay comfortably at this home and enjoyed the privacy it offered. We were able to enjoy ourselves and the views during our visit without being bothered with the noise and busyness of town. This is a great place to stay for the Montana experience of enjoying the quietness and beauty of the outdoors. Tom was great to work with and took care of us while we stayed.
Thanks!

Mountain Escape with all the Amenities!
Beautiful property in a gorgeous mountain setting. The house was even better than expected. Plenty of space for our group of 8 (all adults) to relax and explore. The hot tub and sauna were well-used, and the spacious deck provided an ideal location to hang out. The large grill also made cooking quick and easy. It's about a 35 minute drive from the town of Whitefish, but our group loved the seclusion and privacy. The property managers had A+ communication and made our stay so easy.

We ha d a great time at this property. It is a lovely large home and everyone enjoyed the hot tub and pool table daily during our stay. The managers were responsive to our needs. The house was dusty but otherwise clean. We had 9 adults and 3 children and the house was a great size for our group! We would definitely stay here again.
