It was clean
I was instantly greeted by a strong, chemical air freshners which caused almost instant headache and nausea. Unplugging them did not help because there is no air movement in this location. Host refused to refund and I had to seek accomodation elsewhere.

I have stayed at this very nice basement apartment several times before. It has always been pristinely clean , and visually pleasing and comfortable. The owners are wonderful ! They have been very helpful and friendly ! Thankyou !
There is nothing to about my stay that is negitive in any way !

The basement suite is nicely decorated. I stayed there before and my only real concern at the time was the bathroom sink tap was not installed correctly. I was pleased that has been fixed , Thank you !
Unfortunately the very comfortable queen bed barely fits between its two side walls. It's a little tricky to get in and out of bed . You pretty much have to enter and exit through the foot of the bed. This was / is not a big deal for me , really ! For a very elderly or physically challenged person this may be difficult.

Clean, quiet, fire place, big TV, updated , big space, bed size, nicely renovated, seperate entrance with code lock, easy parking, nice toiletries, slippers, fridge , kettle, dishes. I could order food and have cutlery n dishes there. Water cooler was a nice touch! Loved the decor. Walking distance to Osborne village pubs, cafes, restaurants, grocery is 2 minutes walk.
Nothing to say here.

Very clean with private entrance. Host was very trustworthy as I didn’t even see them my entire stay but they seemed very nice and friendly! Great place to stay
Was up late for both nights and was just worried if the tv downstairs was too loud. Also, the shower door kinda fell on me one day but I put it back on the tracks for them and they were going to call the plumber to fix it after I left. 🤷♂️

The room was clean and nice.
The room is good except for the following reasons.
-When using shower entire bathroom gets wet. The shower head and the shower door should be fixed.
-Reception was bad. No instructions were sent to my phone on how to access the room. I had to wait for 30 minutes in the freezing weather to get into the room.
-The TV In the room was useless as the instructions to get connected didn't work.
-The bedroom was cramped.

People upstairs were always loud

The location was great, very easy check in and parking.
The only negatives were some dead bugs in the corners and it was chilly

Place was very clean and true to pictures. It had a fireplace for the living room and a space heater to heat the bedroom. It was very close to some nice restaurants.
The host seemed frustrated with my presence. There was an automatic locking system that I failed to engage immediately upon arrival, and was greeted with a message shortly thereafter informing me I had not locked the door (even though I was present in the suite at the time). I imagine the host to have been upstairs, as I could hear someone walking about, but they never greeted me or demonstrated how to operate the lock. There is no door to lock separating the basement suite from the upstairs one-the upstairs has a door to lock, but the basement is open. I found that unsettling, esp as a solo female traveler.

Very clean and exactly what I needed.
Everything was fine.

The place was nice, comfortable and actually bigger than I expected. The location is great, bus routes close by and quite few things are walking distance. The fire place was nice, enjoyed the office desk and they had a mini fan/heater in the bedroom which was great.
The bathroom had someone’s personal belongings which made it a bit weird but it was alright. Overall a nice place for the price, I would surely recommend it to my friends if needed.
Nothing like a huge problem but if you’re a light sleeper like myself, make sure to bring some earplugs as the upstairs tenants will wake you up 😂. I heard their conversation, them taking showers, walking and even flushing their toilets. It was a bit annoying but I guess that’s how people lives in basement.

Location was awesome and I felt very safe which was important because I was traveling alone. It was very clean and cozy.
There is a lot of room for improvement, that caused me to find other accommodations for half of my trip.
.
It was freezing! I had to have the electric heater on when outside was hot. That was crazy.
.
No place to wash dishes. The bathroom sink is not working well and not a place to wash my dishes.
.
SOUNDPROOFING NEEDS MAJOR WORK!! There was absolutely no relief from the people upstairs. Even heard snoring from the bathroom.
.
I hope this review can make improve your location.

quiet, well appointed, beautiful bathroom , good price, nice kitchenette with everything one needs for a longer stay.
Not easily accessible for someone like me. Floors in the basement were uneven, stairs were difficult with no hand rails (is there not a code requiring handrails?), bed was very difficult to get into and out of as there was no walking space between bed and wall. The tv was good but the remotes were dirty and spotted with shiny, dried liquid on buttons and plastic. The bed did not have a top sheet, only the comforter which I can only hope is washed every time.
it was difficult to climb the stairs with my stuff to leave. I wish I had known. I would not have stayed.

The location was excellent. It was outside of the scene downtown and on a major bus route. I used Winnipeg transit to travel to most places I wanted to visit. Local shops were within an easy walk
Would have been nice to have a coffee maker.

It was a nice kitchenette set up
Oh it was cold in the basement, but they did have a nice fireplace that I used a lot.

I was very impressed with the entire suite. The living room area was very comfortable , nice big flat screen T.V. Netflix , Youtube etc. It had a large bedroom with a comfortable Queen bed . The bathroom was large with a big walkin shower .
Unfortunately the bed is between two wall with very little room to enter or exit bed. The bathroom sink is beautiful but the single leever tap and spout are not attached properly and is hard to use. I believe a different tap and spout should be installed.

i've never rented via airbnb but if i did, i think it would be like this place. essentially it was a 1 rm, basement apartment with kitchenette (vs. fully functional kitchen). better t.v./cable than i have in personal life. good shower pressure and washroom in general. they provide you with amenities like tea, coffee.
in a convenient location. near portage/broadway. newish resto-bars, cannabis shops, retro vinyl record shops, young university-ish crowd. seems gentrifying area of winnipeg.
can be a bit noisy -hear upstairs muffled voices and movements, exactly like renting a basement apartment!

cleanliness , facilities … just everything
nothing at all
