The house and setting were absolutely stunning. Very well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, plenty of towels, and very accommodating hostess. Although the house is in an area that feels remote and is gorgeous, it’s very convenient to everything we wanted to see and only a short drive to Santa Fe plaza and other key sights. The patio is a wonderful spot for drinking morning coffee and looking out at the mountains right in front of you.

This is a lovely casita located outside Santa Fe in a quiet and beautiful location. The views from the front courtyard are fantastic. The inside is quaint and charming and kitchen fully equipped. The host is very nice and easy to deal with.

Our 10-day visit to the Guest House on the Hill outside Santa Fe was our most restorative get-away yet! This incredible guest house is everything you would imagine a historic northern New Mexico adobe to be! Historic construction techniques, materials, furnishings, art work and ambience were beyond compare, comfortable and accommodating in every way! Our hostess was thoughtful, friendly and helped to make our visit so memorable.
We enjoyed the spacious rooms and patios every day. The weather was wonderful! The enclosed patio on the west was a perfect place to enjoy the landscaped and wooded setting as well as an ideal space for our small dog to search and roam at her pleasure. The views to the mountains and valleys to the east were unsurpassed! The location outside Santa Fe allowed us to be close to the many historic sites and the downtown plaza without being in the hubbub of this busy community.
The kitchen and bathrooms were very well stocked with just about everything you would need. The entire guest house was immaculately clean. Excellent restaurants nearby provided for delicious southwest eats and drinks.
Thank you to our generous hostess and we can’t wait to return!

This place is Tesuque was great for us- a little remote, which is what we like, but very easy to get where we wanted (Santa Fe and Los Alamos). The property was very well equipped- we had everything we needed! Donna had some great personal touches that made it a wonderful experience. We love this area of the country, and will definitely staying here in any future visits!

Gorgeous mountain view from a beautifully arranged, comfortable living room with a fire going, door open to hear the birds/wind/storm. Just lovely, lovely ambience with two very comfortable bedrooms (fireplace in the bedroom, too!). We didn't want to leave. Felt so secluded and quiet.

Located in Tesuque village, ten minutes north of Santa Fe. Easy commute. The Tesuque Market was less than a mile downhill. The atmosphere, people, and food were superb.

Home was attached to owners home but private in a lovely neighborhood location on a hill with lots of trees and beautiful Mountain View’s from patio and living room Owner was very accommodating and accessible for all needs and met our needs promptly and went over and above We arrived to Easter decorations and candy and a bottle of Prosecco She offered us a pot of her homemade chicken soup on arrival so we wouldn’t have to cook and made us a loaf of Irish Soda Bread during our stay Home was as stated in Vbro Fireplace and unlimited firewood came in handy as weather was cold and snowy first 3 days We had our two pups with us and the back fenced yard was perfect for them The patio was as well with the child gate she let us use so that we could have the dogs with us enjoying the views The kitchen was well stocked and she made a trip to the store to be sure I had sheet pans and pie dishes We ran out of coffee filters and she immediately brought more she was a super nice host and so accommodating I can’t say enough about her The home was a quick 10-12 minute drive to downtown Santa Fe Overall a perfect stay

Our 2nd time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much this time. Donna is a great host. The house is comfortable. We love the location, enjoyable walking trails in the area, and not too far from downtown Santa Fe.

Charming traditional adobe in excellent location. Easy drive to town and ski slope. Donna was welcoming host. Fireplaces very nice. Kitchen well stocked with good gas range. Beautiful views of Sangre de Christo Mountains. Feels comfortably lived in appropriate to the location.

We had a wonderful stay at this picturesque guest house in Tesuque. It is nicely decorated and authentically Santa Fe with a wonderful view of the mountains. It snowed while we were there and getting up the steep hill to the house was a bit tricky, but fortunately our all-wheel drive vehicle made it up the dirt road to the house. When we emailed the host a few hours before arrival for final check-in instructions, Georgia replied that she had not received the reservation even though I had a confirmation from VRBO from a month before and payment had been accepted. She was able to quickly adjust and fortunately the place was already clean and ready despite the mix-up. Overall, we would highly recommend staying here for a peaceful and restorative retreat. There are two well-appointed bedrooms, each with their own full bath, a nice living area and a quaint kitchen and dining area. We hope to be back again soon!

This is our second time staying at this perfect little place. Just what we wanted...quiet, great views, a fire in the fireplace. This home is located just a few minutes out of Santa Fe, and is close to one of our favorite restaurants, Tesuque Village Market. Again, perfect.

Perfect for our party of 4 plus two dogs. Host was easily accessible, beds were comfortable, important amenities were updated but still had a very rustic feel, which is what we loved. Plenty of firewood was available and close to everything but far enough away to feel remote. Can’t wait to come back in the summer for hiking.

We enjoyed staying at this home because of its beautiful location just a short drive from Santa Fe. We had beautiful mountain views and it was peaceful and quiet here. The house was well stocked and there was ample room for 2 couples to spread out.

Host was fabulous; they went above and beyond to make our stay special. Home was clean and well stocked. Location was perfect for a relaxing, quiet getaway… but still very close to downtown.

The location was great- Outside of busy Santa Fe but a very short drive to town and other areas of interest. Scenic views of mountains and quiet surrounds the area.
Rental really needs to have some repairs and updates done and a really good cleaning. Although it’s an old unit, a number of things would have made the rental more comfortable. The AC didn't work and the 2nd bedroom had no door screens so these couldn’t be opened to catch a breeze. The bedroom window crank was broken and wouldn’t open or close the window, which was partially open, on the far side of the bed. The front door had no screen on the main door, the right door screen was broken and the left door wouldn’t open. The yard outside the unit could use a good cleaning and items laying around picked up.
The linens were clean and we received a welcome gift of wine. There was coffee for mornings - both appreciated.
The host was pleasant and resides in the adjoining residence.
Since we were gone most all of the days the issues were ignored by us but, for future renters, fixes would greatly improve their stay.

We did a lot of research for Santa Fe pet-friendly properties. This was in a gorgeous quiet location close enough to town but in the countryside. Cozy, affordable, convenient, local architecture style, all the amenities we needed. Donna was very responsive, helpful and friendly. We had the absolute perfect vacation stay here!

Our visit was great - our home was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The location was ideal and having a closed in area in the back for our dog was wonderful! Thank you Donna for your hospitality!

My husband and I have been visiting this property for the last decade. It's such a special place, full of Santa Fe charm. The owner's are very welcoming and friendly. There are so many things we love about this place, but topping the list are the views, the cute outside living area, the fireplaces (one in living and one in bedroom), and the trail that winds along the ridge. It's so peaceful here.

The property was beautiful (perhaps a little too well decorated if you have children--we didn't). Beautiful scenery and so vert quiet.

Very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need plus chocolates and a bottle of wine. Easy to find, close enough to Santa Fe but outside the city.

Donna was the perfect hostess! We had everything we needed. To include things we forget (like Pepcid at bedside and portable fans for those who can’t sleep without noise!). It is close to DT Santa Fe and close to Ski Santa Fe yet nestled in the mountains! It was very clean, well kept and the temperature inside was perfect!
