Property is great, manager excellent communication , so polite, he was always fast responding and even let us to checking early that normal hrs. the space was big enough for our family get away . love that the day have different spaces to get relax if you want to be in separate rooms , kitchen is not updated king of trick at fist to use the stove , but nothing major , love plus coffee are and condiment as courtesy , but definelly need some changes on pot and pans, back yard need work and not enough siting for larger groups need a out door set . it have a heater and cooling we stay in summer time unfortune the temperature was way to hot on top floor and too cold in downstairs each room have ceiling fans and floor but some of them do not work or need to repair, kind of the scary to fall of the ceilings , in summer time is too hot to sleep in top floor. comfortable beds, extra stuff if you have baby, laundry with every you need, enough towels , everything else is great in general I will give a 4 star review. probably in winter will be better stay in future.

Very comfortable house with plenty of sleeping space. Close to downtown, grocery ect. Quiet neighborhood. Great communication with Host! Thanks again

Overall, a great stay at this home. Our only frustration was the lack of body towels. The house sleeps 10+ but there were only 6 towels so it made it a bit difficult to get everyone showered. Hot water works really well, would warn families with little ones.

The place was well kept and clean, close to town and the owner responded quickly. I would definitely book with them again. The price was great for a couple families to share.

The property is clean and the house is big. We stayed for a basketball tournament and it was great. Thank you!

This was our first time renting a vrbo and this property was perfect for our family and my sister in law and son. The managers are pretty amazing and great communication and very fair people. It was close to safeway and a gas station on a quiet street. I can't wait to go back soon.

Big home with lots of rooms in basement and upstairs. Lots of space but needs some amenities like sugar, creamer and some comfort items like art work, dressers In main rooms. like table cover for main table, place mats etc. overall good quality for the price. Two tvs with great shows.

Cute house, great location
This is an older house that is clean with a lot of space. The beds are really comfortable. The neighborhood is nice and conveniently located to a grocery store, restaurants and parks. It’s also within easy walking distance of a coffee stand that is yummy! Rebekah responds very quickly! Definitely a repeat!!

We had a fantastic time staying here. Property was clean and very comfortable with a few quirky parts that made it feel more comfortable than what I was expecting. One of my favorite quirks was the kitchen stove. Not really sure why I geek out on old appliances but you don’t see many kitchen stoves from November 1955 still working and yes I actually did research to find out when it was made. Anyways, super comfortable home to come back to after a long day at a volleyball tournament. I will certainly recommend this property to friends and family that may need a place to stay in Spokane.

This home was all we hoped for cosy yet large enough for our families to gather with other members living in the area. It is pet friendly with a large fenced in back yard and close to parks where we walked our three border collies and two young children. This was a white Christmas we will treasure all ways. Our host was though of everything even providing a Christmas tree for the house.

This old house is clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our short stay with our two cats, 3 grandparents, 2 young adults and a pair of 7 year old girls. The only caveat is the upstairs stairway is a hazard as you can walk off the floor into the air above the third step down. We didn't have an accident, but this is something that can and should be addressed.

Our family came from all over the country for a funeral. This property was a home-away-from-home for all of us, allowing us to come together in a comfortable, well located way. Thank you!

Absolutely appalling communication! Was NEVER told that there was NO air conditioning in the house! With having extreme heat for the week, we should have been told of the condition of the house!!!!When we first walked into the house, every ceiling fan was "roaring with alot of "new" floor fans going a mile a minute! When I contacted the Jeff about no air conditioning, he said it does work it just needed to be reset.......if it worked then why all the fans? The system NEVER did reset. I should have been afforded the courtesy of being told about this problem!!!!! We could have found someting else !!!! The first night in the house was 93°. 93°!!!!!!!
Who does this to people? From first renting the house throughout our stay, the communication with Jeff was HORRIBLE!!!!! Bait and Switch comes to mind!!!!!! The front and back yards were full of weeds and the grass all burned up!!!!!!!! I WANT OUR MONEY BACK!!!!

Big home with lots of room for our 11! Enjoyed the space but the home could use a deep clean!!
A bit of trouble reaching the owner through email with a couple of our questions but he was generous and agreed to let us stay a few hours after checkout!

The first night we could not stay do to a power outage in the area, but was refunded for the 1st night in. When we went the next day to check in the heat was not working, we could not get in touch with owner, after about an hour my husband figured it out. The kitchen stove is very old from probably the 60's so I was glad someone knew how to work it. It was hard to get in touch with the property manager.

Positives:The beds were comfortable. The carpet is nice.Negatives:It is extremely hot in the upstairs bedrooms, and there is no way to get out of the house from those locations. The ceilings in both the stairways and upstairs are dangerously low. The upstairs ceiling does not offer safe passage through the doorway. I RECEIVED A CONCUSSION while hitting my head when walking out of the upstairs bedroom. The AC unit and HVAC system is not good enough to keep the house cool, and the venting is not adequate for what needs to be supplied. The 'bedrooms' downstairs do not offer egress in the event of a fire or other emergency. There is no safe way out of the windows, which are too small, will not open, and are too high to reach from the floor. The downstairs bathroom leaked a large amount of water into the adjoining hallway, and we had to walk through water-logged carpet for most of our stay. The backyard is unlevel/has holes/divots, making it hard to use. The yard itself has dry, brown, dormant grass, which is not at all enjoyable to spend time on. Ideally, this area would be leveled, watered, fertilized, etc., in order to be a nice greenspace. Additionally, the fenced area, which looks like it could be used for a dog run, is unusable because it is overgrown. The left oven in the kitchen does not work, or we could not figure out how to make it work. There is no range hood for the oven. Not sure what the code is on an older homes, but the bottom of the cabinet above the oven looks like it has started to melt in the past, and I believe this to be a fire hazard. The stairs were carpeted without what looks like an inspection into supportability. They bow under the weight of a person who is just over 115 lbs, and this is concerning. The flooring downstairs needs work. It appears that whatever is just beneath the carpet was neither inspected nor leveled. In one of the bedrooms, there is a hole in the flooring, noticeable when walking on the carpet. The floor is not level in the downstairs, and is covered up by carpet. These are the things I noticed. I am not a home inspector, just a person who has owned a few homes over the past 25 years, and have had to deal with all kinds of maintenance issues. The issue I have with the Cozy house is that I had to pay so much, received what I believe to be so little, and was injured due to an unsafe design. And yes, I communicated with the manager about these issues. There was no response, except to the wet floor.

Loved the location, the walkway to the river from the home and the cleanliness.
Upstairs was a little warm but everything else was perfect. Thanks for allowing us to stay.

Great for a family reunion
The house is spacious and situated in a beautiful location just a couple hundred yards from the Spokane River Valley with scenic walking trails, yet it is also an easy drive (5 minutes) to downtown Spokane. At a no-traffic time it was only 15 minutes from the Spokane International Airport. The house is thoroughly equipped with beds (four of them are bunk beds, all in the same room), and the mattresses were all comfortable. There is sufficient dinnerware for a large group, though the dining table is setup for 6; there were a folding table and some folding chairs in the closet. To address a previous comment, there are now plenty of coffee cups (and other dishes). The kitchen isn't equipped for elaborate culinary preparations, but was certainly adequate for typical meals. The house is old and the floors creak, so don't plan on silent traverses through the house during quiet hours! But it was great fun to have three levels to spread out in. There is a great family-room in the basement with a big-screen TV. The oven is definitely a classic but it worked great! We came during the Christmas holidays and the owner was kind enough to have a nicely decorated and lighted Christmas Tree already setup in the living room (Thanks Jeff!!). The house provided a wonderful gathering place for our family and I would definitely return given the same housing needs in the future!

Large place though challenging with our large group
We enjoyed the stay overall. It’s a large home with plenty of room and beds and things were very clean. The downside is that while it sleeps a lot of people, it did not well accommodate a large group. There are only 6 dining chairs, 4 coffee mugs and minimal seating for watching tv. The check in and out procedure was very easy. It worked well for our group arriving from all parts of the country for a few days.

Nice rental close to downtown!
Great alternative to staying in a hotel while in Spokane for a trade show! It’s close to a variety of restaurants, shopping, etc.
Responsive owner, clean and comfortable.
Thank you!
