About this house rental
Located on the edge of Moosehead Lake, my recently renovated house offers unobstructed lake views from every room. The home is designed to creatively utilize 3 levels of living space while maximizing vistas of Moosehead Lake and Big Moose Mountain. One guest described the home as cozy with lots of character…a “tree house for adults” with all the modern comforts.
• The main level is an open concept, contains the kitchen/dining/living rooms with a wood stove along with a full bathroom. Floor to ceiling windows along the kitchen and dining areas fill the main level with light and offer ever changing views of the lake, surrounding mountains and spectacular sunsets.
• The upper level is comprised of a loft/catwalk with floor to ceiling windows, and two bedrooms – each with views of the lake, cathedral ceilings, queen beds and half-baths.
Note: The full bathroom on the main level is in service throughout the year. However, due to concerns about the possibility of freeze ups during extreme cold, the half-baths are not in service between November through March.
• The lower level offers another comfortable living room with a gas-fired wood stove, large sectional sofa w/pull out queen sofa bed, big screen TV w/surround-sound and foosball table.
• The cabin is equipped with a completely automatic, whole-house generator so your stay won't be interrupted by a power outage.
There is a level, grassy lawn along the front of the house which is ideal for enjoying and unwinding at the edge of the lake. There is seating, a picnic table and fire pit which is perfect to shake-off the evening chill while roasting s’mores and star-gazing.
The shoreline along the lawn is rocky with deep, clear, refreshing water. Although suitable for adults to enjoy, the bottom is rocky so the best spot for families to swim is the common beach area which is a two minute walk from the house. This area has a pebbly bottom so water shoes are recommended.
The house is located in approximately 1 mile from Greenville’s town center and is part of an association of 7 cabins which share a 70 foot slate jetty along with a common beach area. There is parking for two vehicles. The setting is peaceful, and there are neighbors close by.
Although Greenville, Maine is a small town, it offers year round casual restaurants, a variety of shops and the convenience of a grocery store. There is even a family owned pharmacy with an authentic counter-serviced soda fountain.

Super location and views. We made memories around the campfire, watched incredible sunsets, and enjoyed swimming in Moosehead!!

Our stay at this property was delightful in every way. The views are amazing, the owner is very responsive, the neighborhood is friendly, and everything in downtown Greenville is only a few minutes away.
If you're looking for a respite from a busy life and enjoy going to sleep listening to the lapping of waves and cries of loons, you'll love this property.

We had a wonderful experience staying at this home directly on the lake. The views from the house were truly incredible. The sunsets were magical and the swimming was great. My two young boys enjoyed fishing, swimming and playing on the sand beach. The house had everything we needed. The location was perfect for exploring the region and the host was very helpful and responsive to any of our needs. We had a great time and really enjoyed our time there.

The property is located right on beautiful Moosehead Lake. The house is spacious with 3 floors with everything you will need for indoor and outdoor fun. You can fish directly off the jetty and there is easy access to the town of Greenville. We were active with activities but loved the relaxing nights back at the house. The owner provided us with outstanding information and was very helpful with any questions.

This beautiful home sits on an incredible piece of property, just feet from the picturesque Moosehead Lake. The home itself is simply amazing, a cozy camp-like feeling with all of the modern features to make you feel right at home. The host took the time to personally greet us when we arrived and walked us through the property, even sharing the home’s history with us which was wonderful. We can’t say enough about our stay. The home was perfect, just minutes from the Village of Greenville. The views of the lake with the amazing mountains in the background are breathtaking and the sunsets….absolutely unreal! We are counting the days until we can visit this magical place again. Thank you Everett!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Greenville, Moosehead Lake, and the surrounding area. Everett's beautiful cabin, right on the lake, contributed greatly to our experience. The cabin is clean, very well kept, and fully equipped. Everett met us at the cabin for our check-in and we appreciated the tour of the property. While staying at Everett's cabin, we used our canoe to tour Moosehead near the cabin, and found some excellent fishing from our canoe on smaller lakes and ponds in the area. We cooked several meals in the kitchen and also used the gas grill outside. The lower-level living room has a wide screen TV hooked up to an excellent sound system, so we enjoyed a couple of movie nights with the streaming services Everett has subscribed to. This VRBO is a real gem.

We had such a relaxing and fun stay. The views are just amazing!The beds and couches were super comfy. We took so many pictures of the sunsets over the lake. We met a few families of ducks. One rather large family (mom and her 8 ducklings) treated us to a parade across the lawn every morning & evening. The loons sung us lullabies each night as we fell asleep to the sounds of water lapping on the lake’s shore.
So relaxing and fun as well!
Went on a moose safari and spotted 3!
Took a 3 hour tour on the lake to Sugar Island on The Katinhde. Even took a ride to find the B52 Crash site just outside of town.
Friendly towns with great places to eat.
Amazing take away wings, ribs, Fire-wood pizza at The Farmhouse. Enjoyed a cold beer, fried pickles and a nice view at Kelly’s Landing
Everett could not have been a more charming, accommodating and responsive host; one of the best we’ve had the pleasure of meeting.
Our only regret is that we could not stay another week!

We had a wonderful vacation at this home. The home is beautiful, comfortable, and bright. The owner was fabulous with communication and welcoming and helpful when we got to the home. The location was perfect for a choice of restaurants, small grocery store, and hospital. We hope to go back another year. The experience was exactly what we were looking for.

This is my second time and I am planning future stays. The property is absolutely gorgeous. The entire wall next to the lake is glass and the view from inside is amazing. My brother & I love it here. You need to see it to really appreciate how beautiful it is!

Amazing Views and Location
This house is unique in design, but it works so well for its location! The windows provide amazing views of the lake all day. I couldn’t spend enough time sitting outside by the lake, watching the ducks go back and forth, and enjoying the water.
Our host was available anytime we needed by text, and house instructions were very easy to follow and clear.
Neighbors were very friendly and nice, neighborhood is quiet despite everyone being close by.

The property is less than four minutes from downtown Greenville making it very easy to run into town for groceries, coffee, etc. The proximity to the water was great, and the views from every room were amazing. This cabin on Moosehead Lake did not disappoint! The views were incredible and the cabin was nice and cozy! The owner was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He did a great job communicating everything we needed to know about our stay! It was fantastic!

Great little cabin right on the lake
Everything is just as described in the marketing section and we were very comfortable. The owner-Everett made a special effort with us, meeting us at the house and even helping us up the stairs with the bags. He is quite a character and we enjoyed a lively chat as we settled in. The kitchen is very convenient and we did a lot of cooking as Greenville has lost a lot of eating establishments since our last visit.
If you are coming for great views of the lake and easy access to Greenville you can't do better than this. Everett also asked his very likable cleaning crew to help us down the narrow-pitch steps when we demobed from the upstairs. It was all greatly appreciated.
