Wonderful home.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The location is fantastic and the owner of the property was very responsive. The checkout process was very reasonable and easy (no over the top cleaning demands). I also appreciated the availability of some kids games and toys as we had our 4 and 5 year olds with us. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved this location so much! Beautifully furnished, lots of space, and complete with amenities needed for your stay. Quality, like new towels and linens. This place is a hidden gem.

The house was very good. We were looking for a roomy quiet vacation and this was it. Easley to communicate with the owner. The only issue really is the homeless situation /in Portland and the fact that there was a homeless camp directly across the street while we were there.

We had a fantastic family getaway at the Portland Villa! The location in the Alberta neighborhood was great. Close to many food and dining options, coffee, and more. Also centrally located to downtown Portland, the airport, and Columbia River gorge. The street was relatively quiet given it's only a few houses off Alberta and in a dense neighborhood. There were a couple parks nearby for the kids, and nearby groceries as well. The house itself was clean and as described. Bedrooms were quite large as well as the main family/dining room on the second floor. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials to be able to make a few meals at the house. Bathrooms were well stocked with extra towels as well. Laundry and grill on site were a plus, as well as the roof top patio with mountain views. Communication with the owner was perfect. Would definitely stay again next time we're in Portland!

My large family stayed at the house for my daughter’s graduation from college. It was a wonderful home to accommodate such a large group. The home is beautifully maintained and was perfect for our large group. The owner was super responsive and accommodating when addressing a small issue
that came up. Although the weather prevented us from using the yard and rooftop deck, those were wonderful features of the property as well.

The house was great. The open living area was excellent and made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Every person in our group would enjoy staying there again. Rooftop was a nice bonus as well.

We've stayed at PDX Villa twice. Most recently over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was the perfect place for several reasons. We had a big group and it accommodated us comfortably for sleeping and for gathering in the large combined living and dining room space. The dining room table easily seats 10. The bonus was the weather was beautiful so we were able to use the rooftop space which was so fun! Catie was easy to get in touch with and responded to our questions immediately. From start to finish, it was a wonderful experience!

This was the perfect house for two families meeting up in Portland for a special birthday. There was so much space to spread out but also great community spaces when we wanted to be together.
The amount of large beds was fantastic and the layout was perfect for teens. Definitely requires mobility as there are a lot of stairs!
The roof deck is great when the weather is nice. And the location was central to everything.
The owner was quick to respond and help out when we needed her. All in all - a great weekend!

We loved our stay! Upon entry, we immediately felt transported into a wine country oasis with the expansive space and elegant decor. Kitchen had everything we needed, though we didn't cook very much. The kids loved all the levels and the indoor and outdoor spaces. Extra kudos to the housekeeper for the spotless cleanliness of the space. Would definitely recommend and will rent again!

Five Stars. Great space and layout, with room to gather both in the great room and ceiling top deck. This was the perfect place for my co-workers and I to convene and get some rest for a Specialty Coffee Expo in Portland and I'll make sure to try and reserve again with family next time. Communication with host was profession and nice. Directions/Communications in house clear, concise and friendly. Everything was tippy top notch. Can't wait to return. Thanks!

My family came to Portland for college visits and enjoyed staying at this home. Plenty of room for just a family of four. Lots of stairs if you have people with mobility issues it could be a problem but not for us. Tons of room to spread out. The house did have a small ant problem while we were there but nothing unusual during that time of year. Tons of windows and light in the home. Big kitchen to make meals and walkable to great restaurants and ice cream. Overall we would stay here again.

Neighborhood is exactly what you want. Great food and drinks in all directions. House is really impressive. We were there in winter, but the rooftop would be absolutely killer in the warmer months. Kitchen was well equipped, and the bedrooms were very comfy.

This house is a great place for a larger group to stay in Portland! It has 4 very nice sized bedrooms and lots of gathering/entertaining space. There is even a great 3rd floor roof deck that spans almost the entire building! The owners are great to deal with and everything is provided (even real coffee beans and a bottle of wine) for your stay.

Beautiful, spacious, in great location. Bars, multi-ethnic restaurants one block away. Gracious host. Home was clean, modern, came with many extras and accommodated 9 people ages 28-98 visiting for a family wedding, Would rebook and definitely recommend.

I and 6 family members stayed at this lovely property during a recent vacation to Portland. It was our first time to Portland ever for all but 1 of us.
This property was lovely, conveniently located to LOTS of quaint, funky, quirky, and DELICIOUS restaurants. Alberta Street is really fun.
The home had a lovely rooftop that could be enjoyed as well as a balcony off the master bedroom. They did have a STRICT "stay off the roof" by 9pm weekdays. I guess some people got too loud?
There was a beautiful big great room--kitchen, eat-in area, dining room, family room--that all of us could fit in VERY comfortably and a very large sturdy and gorgeous dining room table that could double as a workspace OR game table. It was a game table for us.
4 comfortable bedrooms--3 down and 1 up. And a laundry facility with TWO washer and dryers. Two washers...two dryers. One big bathroom downstairs with a double shower and double sink. So.....absolutely no issue regarding space for 7 of us. MORE than enough room.
My only complaint and it's not really a "complaint" as it is something to know....the master bath has a HUGE bathtub. We didn't put 7 people in it but we almost could have. Anyway the complaint is that it is VERY high and required a step stool to get into and out of. Now...I'm 61 so I'm not as spry as I used to be but I think it would be a formidable issue for anyone. it was fine...but getting out was a little concerning. We managed with no problems but I would advise against older people using it. It was just too high to easily navigate.
Other than that.....absolutely 100% would recommend this home. We could not have been happier with it.

Fantastic house and great location!
The pictures are accurate. The place was spacious for me and my family (total of 8 adults). The location was perfect. Less than a 1/2 block walking distance to Alberta street, with tons of restaurants and shops. Catie was responsive whenever I reached out with a question.

Happy vacation for all!
You will be pleased the minute you step through the door. The pictures match what’s there. It’s an open floor plan with a well-stocked and well-designed kitchen, it made cooking fun and relaxing. Our trip included grandparent, parent, and grandchildren. All 3 generations greatly enjoyed this unique area of Portland. This was the first vacation where my kids were engaged with the surroundings (exploring the walkable neighborhood, etc). For once they didn’t feel like they were being pulled around and they didn’t ask me to schedule expensive attractions! Great job providing a wonderful experience for all!

Perfect location with shops and restaurants nearby. The house had everything we needed for a wonderful week in Portland!

Great house and location!
Wonderful location! Rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Bath/upstairs was not the most accessible (had to use a step stool to get in). House was very clean and stocked with some games! Highly recommend if you do not have accessibility issues.

The only downside to renting property, is that maid is in the house with you.
Although maid is in garage she has a door that opens to the house. We did not see her but it’s a little unnerving having a stranger in the home with you. Constantly felt like we were always shushing the kids as to not bother her. Otherwise house is immaculate and nicely kept. The owner responded to messages quickly. Couldn’t have asked for better location, close to restaurants and bars. Again only reason I did not give this rental a 5, was the uncomfortable feeling of having a stranger in the home.

Beautiful place!
My family and I would rent this property again.

Amazing home! Highly recommend.
This was exactly what we were looking for! Unlike many of our Portland trips, we were wanting this to be more of an intimate stay (i.e., experiencing the neighborhood rather than the tourist sights). We spent nearly the entire time in the house or within a few blocks of it. The home is just a few houses from Alberta St. and we were able to walk to many amazing restaurants and meet some amazing small business owners.
The home had a wonderful balance of being able to give our family of 5 space to either be alone or together. The main living room and the rooftop lounge were amazing! Even better than the online pictures.
Everything was clean and well stocked with all that we needed. I love cooking and have resorted to bringing my own kitchen gear to rentals since they rarely have what I need. This home was the exception. I ended up not using any of the gear I brought. Best stocked kitchen I have experienced in the 13 years I have been using VRBO!
Very pleased with our visit and would highly recommend.

Great Location. Beautiful Home!
We had 7 adults staying with us and we had plenty of space with comfortable beds to sleep on.
The roof top was the perfect place to enjoy some sunshine on our last day!
You can easily walk to countless coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Plenty of art to look at on the way!
The host was very responsive and was able to get us things quickly.
Would definitely book again next time in Portland!

As Advertised
This property was unique and inviting just like the advertisement said. We had four couples and it was plenty of room for all of us. The neighborhood was a little more run down than I expected but you can tell the residents are working on fixing it up. We felt very safe and were within walking distance to great food, drinks, and shops. Able to take in all the great sites of Portland within a short drive. Host was super responsive to all inquiries and requests. Beautiful gardens and two patios that we were able to enjoy. Will definitely recommend this home!
