This massive, classic Craftsman home-filled with better-than-hotel-quality king-sized beds--is located just steps from the famous Hawthorne District! This original Craftsman has been professionally designed for the most particular of travelers, tucked away on a quiet block but right off one of Portland's most sought-after nightlife, dining & shopping districts. Gather around the handcrafted wood dining table with friends, or unwind on the private back patio after checking out the neighborhood!

From the moment you step into this spacious and charming home, you will be completely smitten! With it's two master suites, complete with ensuite bathrooms, large, living spaces, gorgeous design, upgrades and fixtures, prime location and serene setting–you may not ever want to leave!

Guest Access:
Our guests will have access to everything in the main house; this is a perfectly private rental. There is a long-term tenant in the separated basement unit but the guests will have the entire home and outdoor areas to themselves.
NOTE: The basement tenant unit is completely private with its own entrance.
The Neighborhood:
Voted one of the best neighborhoods in Portland by Sunset Magazine, the Richmond neighborhood does not disappoint. Located between the bustling streets of Hawthorne and Division, this neighborhood is chock full of many of Portland's best restaurants, bars and shops while still maintaining the eclectic "Keep Portland Weird" aesthetic that it's become famous for.
Getting Around:
-- No need to bring a car to house with its 90 walk score (100 bike score!) and proximity to everything, but if you do, there is a driveway and garage for guest use as well as extensive street parking.

Other Things to Note:
--This home has a 4 night/6 person minimum for all weekend stays during the High Season (June-September) as well as all major holidays.
-- As required by the city for permit requirement of the rental, the following information are required for all guests whose reservations will be accepted:
1) Full name of each guest
2) Your Address
3) Best contact number
4) Email address
5) License plate number if bringing a car (please provide on the day of check in if renting a vehicle)
6) Estimated arrival time
--IMPORTANT: Smoking of any kind indoors is strictly prohibited and will result in a $500 fine and additional action up to eviction.
--This home is not ADA accessible
--There are stairs to the front of the home, as well as to the upper and lower levels
--The main floor has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen, dining room and living room
--There is a full-time tenant in the basement adu. They have their own entrance and will not impact your stay.
--Please note we accept up to 2 small, well-behaved dogs (25 lbs or less) $50 per pet per stay up to 20 days. Stays of 21+ days or more the dog fee is $200. Please inquire about any other types of animal companions. PLEASE NOTE THE DOG FEE IS TO BE CHARGED AFTER BOOKING
--The landscaper will be at the home every 2 weeks. This is customarily on Tuesdays.
--This is a smoke-free property. Please do not smoke anywhere inside or outside this home.
--City mandated quiet hours are observed from 9pm-8am on weekdays and 10 pm-8 am on weekends. Please refer to the detailed rules in your House Guide.
