About this apartment rental
"Downtown Creekside II" can’t be beat. This 3-Level townhouse is approximately 800 steps from Redlight # 6, the new Anakeesta, Aquarium of the Smokies, Pancake Pantry, and is in the middle of the downtown action of the Gatlinburg Strip. You are only steps away from multiple restaurants, the Guinness World Records Museum, Zip Lines, Mini Golf, Shops, Tennis, Arcades and much, much more. Should you be too tuckered out from a day of fishing, skiing, hiking, or golfing to walk any farther than absolutely necessary, "Downtown Creekside II" is located on the Trolley Stop, making it easy to navigate without the hassle of driving! Thanks to its leafy, bucolic setting near the flowing waters of Baskin's Creek, you’ll feel peacefully distant from the hubbub of the Gatlinburg action.
Location isn’t the only thing "Downtown Creekside II" has going for it. Airy, spacious, and beautifully decorated, "Downtown Creekside II" has 2 king-size bedrooms, a queen-size bedroom on the open loft, and a sofa that opens into an additional queen-size bed, thus accommodating up to 8 people with sleeping arrangements. Each of the 3 floors has its own bedroom, private bathroom, luxury bedding, and a flat-panel TV. The lower and main-level bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds, making "Downtown Creekside II" a great option if you’re traveling with another couple.
The main-level’s Master Bedroom with en-suite bathroom, is a great place for a relaxing, hot shower for revitalizing tired muscles after an action-packed day, so you can relax and head back out to take advantage of Gatlinburg’s nightlife!
The loft level, which houses a queen-size bed and a private bath, is a great place for the kids to do some gaming. You’ll arrive to find the beds freshly made and the bathrooms stocked with laundered towels—no need to bring your own. In fact, you can pack especially light, as "Downtown Creekside II" has its own washer and dryer.
In addition to the Master Bedroom, the main level of "Downtown Creekside II" includes the open-plan Living Room, Dining area, and Kitchen. With its double-height ceiling and casually elegant furnishings, the living area is a wonderful space for kicking back and relaxing. In the winter, everyone can gather around the Wood-Burning Fireplace and toast marshmallows while watching a favorite program on the 50” flat-screen, Smart TV. In the Summertime, you’ll love stretching out on the sofa to catch up on your reading, or post photos of the Great Smoky Mountains to your Instagram or Facebook accounts (yes, "Downtown Creekside II" has Free WiFi & Web Access, along with Cable, HD Smart TV, DVD and Blu-ray Players.)
When you stay at "Downtown Creekside II", you’ll have scores of Restaurants—Steakhouses, Barbecue joints, Seafood eateries, even Tennessee's oldest pancake house—practically at your doorstep. Sometimes though, nothing beats a home-cooked meal, and "Downtown Creekside II" has a fully equipped kitchen that awaits you. From the full-size stainless-steel refrigerator/freezer/ice-maker to the indispensable coffeemaker and microwave, not to mention cookware and tableware, you’ll find everything you need, whether you’re whipping up a holiday meal or simply reheating the previous night’s doggy bag.
After dinner, you can enjoy drinks out on the screened-in porch or the open deck where you can enjoy the mountain breeze rustling through the trees, along with the sights and sounds of the Great Smoky Mountains. During the summer months, you can also take advantage of the Gatlinburg Village Swimming Pool, just a hop, skip, and jump from your front door. Want more of a workout? The all new Anakeesta Mountain Lift and Outdoor Family Adventure is now open in full swing with multiple activities.
Also, the Ober Gatlinburg Amusement Park and Ski Area is only a few miles away, as is the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, where you can hike, bike, fish, or go horseback riding. On the other hand, if shopping is your idea of exercise, you’ll love the Gatlinburg Arts and Crafts Loop, an 8-mile trail of more than 100 galleries, studios, and craft shops. Catch the Trolley right out front to enjoy a family day with the kids at Dollywood...one of America's favorite theme parks. Also, just a short drive or Trolley ride away in Pigeon Forge, Tanger Outlet Mall offers bargains galore in over 175 of its name brand outlet stores.
All this and more is just outside your door when you stay at "Downtown Creekside II." Should you desire to just spend a day doing nothing more than sitting on a rocker listening to songbirds, reading that book you never have time to open at home, or just treating yourself to an afternoon nap, "Downtown Creekside II" is a delightful place to laze and luxuriate.

Best vacation home in Gatlinburg. The house is close the Aquarium and other attractions. In addition, the house was very clean and well organized.

The town house was cozy. We loved the porch and deck. Made morning coffee as sun came up over mountains perfect. All amenities worked with no issues...tv, washer/dryer, coffee maker, HVAC..etc. it was a little bit of a walk to some parts of Gatlinburg, but there is a bus/trolley that comes.by of.you are tired. Pool was clean, unit was clean, beds comfortable. Some people said unit was dated, but we found it cozy and felt like home. We recommend and would gladly visit again.

Great location to walk downtown

I was under the impression that the loft had a closed in area. It was wide open. That’s not what I saw the first and only time. Otherwise it was okl

Great location and easy to walk to places in town. I would for sure stay again.

Loved the spacious house. The bedrooms were great, each with our own bathroom and the beds were comfortable. We cooked several times & the kitchen was nice, but could use a few more items like baking sheet, extra dish towels & dish cloths, but had everything else we needed. Living room furniture was comfortable and loved the screened in deck. Great neighborhood, walking distance to town. We would stay here again!

Great location. We walked into Gatlinburg every day.

Property looked just as great as the listing. Kitchen was well stocked with implements, and the beds were super comfortable. Master bathroom had a space heater built into the shower which was awesome. The open loft area helps the space to feel generous despite the narrow footprint of the property. There were 5 of us which seemed just right, although you could probably have a few more. We had a great time out and really enjoyed having this place to come back to.

The condo was in a great location for what we needed and was very clean and the perfect space for what we needed for the weekend. Will likely book again!

We had a wonderful time during our stay. The layout was perfect for our two families. There was plenty of room for the kids to play. Each floor having its own bathroom was very beneficial. The kitchen was stocked well enough to prepare meals each night. The location was great. The condo is conveniently located with just a quick walk to downtown (less than 10 minutes). I highly recommend for anyone traveling to the area.

Clean, quiet, well stocked & beds were so comfortable! Great location for walkers, close enough to walk and save money on parking. Property mgr was fast to respond and pleasant. We have zero complaints. Great affordable place to stay for a family.

This is a 3 level townhome so each bedroom is on a different level with a private bathroom, which made it very nice for privacy. It's in a great location and is very clean and updated. We walked to the downtown area very easily. We will definitely stay here again when back in the area.

This property is clean and looks just like the photos in the listing. It’s hard to beat the proximity to the Gatlinburg strip yet feel like you are in the peacefulness of the mountains.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Unit is well appointed, comfortable (specifically enjoyed the screened porch and open-air balcony) and convenient to downtown Gatlinburg. Also conveniently located to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pigeon Forge, and local attractions.

The place was exactly as described and worked perfectly for our girls weekend. The place was clean, nicely stocked kitchen, and comfortable spacious bedrooms. Would recommend this place and stay again.

Our family of six came from Georgia with one goal: play in some snow!
On arrival day, we drove the short extra distance to the Old Mill before checking in. We were shocked at how convenient it was to swing by Pigeon Forge. So close!
Once we circled back, check in was easy and the condo was spotless on arrival! Linens were plentiful for our large family, including for the pull out sofa. The TV had tons of options for some evening entertainment. Lots of seating in the great room, too!
The next day, we walked 10 mins downhill to the Pancake Pantry before hitting the aquarium across the street. Again, shocked at the walkability! We enjoyed the entire day on the main drag, and the walk home was easy even for the littlest legs in our fam.
And the following day, we drove a short 15 mins to Ober Mtn for allllllll of the snow activities! We had to drive straight through downtown, but it was early enough that traffic wasn’t a problem, and we parked at the top of Ober with time to spare. Again, all thanks to the perfect location of the condo!!
Conveniently, each night we Door Dashed dinner to the condo. The kitchen was stocked perfectly for at-home dinners.
Our kids (ages 4-9) loved every second, and we parents appreciated how easy this trip was thanks to the location of this wonderful property.

We had an amazing time here for our quarterly friends trip. So close to downtown that we could walk everywhere but far away enough to be quiet when in the condo.

Was nice great location

The property was located within walking distance of downtown. The unit needed a little bit of maintenance but nothing that would keep me from coming back. I dealt with Charles prior to check in via email and he was wonderful and attentive. Thanks for a great time.

It was fine. The area is just way too busy. The stay was a quiet place and you could walk to downtown. Too many people and too many cars! Never go again this time of year!

It was as advertised

Stay was great. Manager was easy to contact. Parking was way steep 😀 A couple of things to note...air/heating is drastically different from floor to floor, you could accidentally get locked out on the porch (like we did haha), and black out curtains are sooo needed as the garage lights from other units come in the bedroom. The common areas are spacious. Some coffee is provided, would have loved a few creamer/sugar. Again great location and ideal for groups of three sets...three floors of bedrooms (stairs are skinny in the unit).

Property was exactly how it was described. It was perfect for my immediate family. The short walk to downtown was very convenient! Would definitely stay again! 🙂

Everything was perfect for this stay! This weekend getaway spot is just what we needed! It was close enough to everything that we walked and the condo was so cozy! Was equipped with plenty of linens and kitchen accessories! We will be back to stay again!

We booked this home for my Bachelorette trip. There were 6 of us total, but could easily fit 8. Everything was very clean and well put together. The location is great as well, you can easily walk down to the main strip. All the girls had a great time, we will definitely be staying here again!

The place was adequate. Not a lot of amenities. The shower floor in the basement was cracked and could not be used. Most of the remote batteries were dead. The cooking pans were really greasy. The location was nice. Otherwise the place was as advertised.

This was perfect for our family to stay together. The location allowed us to make the short walk to visit the shops and dine out every day. We enjoyed our stay!

It was nice to have our own bedroom and bathroom and was nice having a washer and dryer in the unit. The 2 porches were nice to sit out and see the lights on the mountain in the evening. It was quite we didn’t hear anyone staying next to us from the other unit.
