June 2024 - The property was nice with a lot of room for everybody. A little coffee shop on the conner and small grocery store within walking distance. The French Quarters is minutes away - driving not walking. I would stay again
Note - the check in process with the keypad can be a little confusing just get with the host and she will explain it and u will be just fine

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property managers were great, went over and above to ensure we had everything we needed. Great location with walking distance to Bourbon St and Jackson Square.

The house was beautiful with a lot of space for our group of 8 and within walking distance for all activities we wanted to participate in. Our host met us at check in and was very helpful in explaining the features of the home. It was a fantastic trip.

Really enjoyed our stay, would/will definitely stay again. Lots of room, a bit older house, but location, ease of parking made up for the age of the house and smaller bathrooms. Great location for a weekend away with adults. I have to note they had the SOFTEST linens I have ever slept on including some 5 star hotels. No frills, but very budget friendly and great walking distance to french quarter and bourbon street.

Wonderful home, furniture to match the home. Beds were great and all questions were answered very fast. Location for activities was excellent and neighborhood was very good. Quiet compared to many places in NO but accessible either walking or driving.

Bachelorette Group
We had a great time staying at this beautiful house. It felt quintessentially New Orleans.
We had plenty of space and beds. The A/C works excellent on the ground floor, if you’re upstairs, maybe plan to sleep naked. Ha!
Loved the coffee shops on the corners and the ability to find so much good food in the area was awesome!
Only wish our stay had been longer!

Such a great home base for our party!
This was an awesome place to stay, so much space! The home is beautiful and so are the furnishings. Owners are super accomodating and let us check in early (with beer in the fridge!) and check out late. We loved our time here.

Fabulous manager!
Beautiful, conveniently located home with good mattresses (so important for a good night dleep). The property manager, Nichole was very responsive and helpful. We needed additional silverware and cookware for an evening of dining in the home. Nicole showed up within the hour with bags in hand. Very impressive!

Ideal For Large Groups!
I stayed at this home for my bachelorette trip with a group of 9 girls and we all loved this place. It's so spacious that at no time did we feel cramped. We all had our own place to retreat to. The house has lots of charm and character. Couldn't be happier with how clean it was. We were walking distance to all the action for Mardi Gras but far enough away where the streets were quiet at night and we could sleep. Lucked out on Fat Tuesday...a parade actually started right in front of the house! We all watched from the balcony. The property manager was extremely responsive and very friendly. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place for any large group!

Beautiful and spacious house!
Booked this house for a bachelorette party and it was perfect! There was plenty of room for all of us and within walking distance of Bourbon! The house itself was beautiful and quiet. Nichole and Will were so helpful in letting us drop bags off early so we could explore without them before the house was ready. Couldn’t have imagined a better place!

Huge and beautiful home 1 mile from French Quarter
Our group of 9 women on a bachelorette weekend had a wonderful time staying in this home. Nicole and Ben were easy to work with and were kind and responsive. There is so much room in the house. We walked everywhere as a group during the day and felt completely comfortable. We took lyft at night which was about a $7 ride and less than 10 minutes to Bourbon st. Having the washer and dryer in the house was great especially with so many people. AC worked great. Having key code entry is a must with so many people and made life much easier. I would absolutely stay here again.

We come to new orleans all the time, for both work and play, and we try to stay at different places each time. This house is fantastic, its got probably 15' ceilings and has been almost totally renovated. It rained while we were there and we didn't have any issues like the previous reviewer reported. I think they put a new roof on it recently. The house is in very good shape. AC worked very well. Great location. hosts are the best. there is also a really sweet cafe on the block called Fatima's cozy corner. Very happy with our choice.

Nice But Roof Leaking Issues
The place was comfortable and met our needs. The weather during our stay was rainy and the roof leaked into the house and onto furniture. Put a kink into using the certain areas on the property.

Great house in a great location
Our group loved this house and its location. Its less than a mile to Bourbon St and there are 2 great coffee shops at corners of the same block. The house is more of a "classic" home, but was quite modern- Wifi worked great, Keurig coffee machine ready to go, and the smart thermostat was easy to use. The house was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I definitely recommend this house for any group and would stay here again. It was quite warm in New Orleans while we were there, so even with a uber/lyft ride, it was a very short ride (a few dollars each way).

Everything We Needed
Our family of 9 flew from different parts of the country to meet up in NOLA for the holidays. We all arrived earlier than expected and were able to get in to the home a bit earlier than check in (thank goodness!). The uber from airport to door was about $35.
Once we got in, though...We were like kids in a candy store! All lovers of old houses and architecture, we immediately had to check every door, every room, Every armoire, and all the bits and bobs that give this home so much charm.
The location was great! Pretty easy walks to the French Quarter, unless you have mobility issues. The curbs and crossings are bumpy and in need of repair, but the streets were well lit.
Some cons: the house is old, and the noises that come with it are to be expected. Don't think you will have a silent 100+ yr old home to sleep in. Creaks and squeaks, loud heater, few outlets, drafty bedrooms, crappy showers, and I hope in the future that the owner considers more comfortable furniture for the living room.
But you know what? I'd stay here again! The property manager was able to secure a pack and play for my kiddo, and they answered all of our questions quickly. Even if I didn't stay at this particular property, I would stay at any of their homes knowing I would be well taken care of.

Perfect place for a large group. The owners are easy to work with. All around a great place!
Came here for a weekend get away with family and friends. The house had enough space for everyone to be comfortable and was within walking to distance to almost everything we wanted to do. Great property!

Beautiful but had some issues
Large and roomy and Charming home but owner needs to address some things. Outside front gate broken, lack of proper window coverings, making some rooms bright as day all the time due to outside spotlights. Some living Furniture broken, main floor back bathroom: picture of double sink, not a double sink . it's only one sink that works and the other side leaked. Showering in clawfoot bathtub leaked because shower curtain too small to wrap around tub. More, and better patio furniture needed to enjoy the outdoors. There was only one chair out front. Supposed to have cushions on it but didn't. Ceiling fan in upstairs bedroom broken. Clutter needs to be cleaned out of some closets to allow for tenants belongings. Cooking pots and pans should be upgraded. Poor quality door locks. The Good stuff: really enjoyed having a Keurig with coffee included. AC works great, home is open and Airy with plenty of room for 10 of us. Coffee and sandwich shop on corner is great. Nice quiet neighborhood. We all had a great time, first time ever in New Orleans!

Great Historic home - close to everything! 5 stars
Meant to write this review a while ago! We come to new orleans pretty often, so we are very familiar with the area and the rentals available. This house is amazing. It has been completely renovated since the pictures were taken and it is a perfect historic restoration in my opinion. there is tons of space here and it is a super short walk (5 mins) to the french quarter and a 10 minute walk to bourbon and frenchmen streets, as advertised. the host was incredibly helpful giving us tips for things to do and recommending restaurants and bars. the neighborhood is super quaint and cute, the block is full of architectural gems. I would DEFINITELY stay here again. 5 stars!!!!!
