About this house rental
Although this East Nashville area home sits in the middle of nature with a huge park and paved trails right in its backyard, it is just minutes away from some of Nashville's hottest establishments including nationally recognized restaurants, music venues, bars, and eclectic shops. It's not far from Downtown Nashville and also less than 10 minutes to the Opry area. If you want to live like a local and enjoy the outdoors, you'll love it here.
This completely renovated 2,200+ square foot 4 bedroom home has a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, huge living room plus den, four bedrooms including a large primary suite with a remodeled spa-like bathroom, and one additional full bathroom. Light pours into the living space as windows overlook the scenic park. Fully stocked kitchen sits between the dining room and exterior deck for easy access for those who wish to entertain. A deck looks privately onto the huge and luscious trees of Shelby Bottoms Park with owls, rabbits, tree frogs, and deer making frequent appearances in the backyard. As the Cumberland River is right around the corner, the General Jackson riverboat cruise can be heard in the distance with its lively music.
Guests have access to the full house, yard, off street parking in the driveway, and direct entrance into the Shelby Bottoms Greenways. The Greenways are miles and miles of paved biking and walking trails extending throughout East Nashville all the way to Downtown Nashville, plus over to the Donelson/Opry areas, Mount Juliet, and beyond. Everybody from marathon runners to competitive cyclists to families taking leisurely strolls enjoy the tree-lined paths along the river, and hiking trails add a little diversion to the paths.
Free wi-fi and cable are provided, with a large flat screen in the living room.
Inside, the kitchen is fully stocked with newer appliances (fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave), a toaster, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, pots/pans, and spices.
A full-sized washer and dryer is available to guests free of charge, and is convenient to the four bedrooms.
The reason we purchased this home was because it seemed to be the perfect blend between having city conveniences with wide open spaces and nature in the backyard. Megan is a city girl, Adam is more of a country loving boy, and this awesome location fulfilled both needs. The Greenways are amazing and having the river within steps helped calm our desire to be near water. Riverside Village is less than a five minute drive and includes: 1. Nationally recognized Mitchell Deli, which was featured on TLC's America's Best Sandwich. 2. Village Pub neighborhood bar with locally famous Moscow Mules and pretzel sandwiches. 3. Dose Cafe and Dram Bar serves excellent food, coffee, plus cocktails, and is a great place to work remotely. 4. Castrillo's Pizza with by the slice during the day and delivery at night. 5. Lou is renowned for brunch and dinner. 6. Riverside Pharmacy for medical needs or items you forgot to pack, plus a doctor's office next door that allows walk ins. 7. Ladybird Tacos 8. Bite a Bit restaurant and bar features delicious Japanese and Thai food. East Nashville's gorgeous historic neighborhoods, nationally recognized restaurants, music venues, and bars are an easy few minute drive or Uber/Lyft/Cab ride away.

This is my second time to stay here.

Good location to downtown Nashville and local grocery stores. Uber rides to downtown were very reasonable. Nice municipal golf courses nearby as well.
Adam was super, key code was given with ample time prior. Very quick with responses to any question I had.

Beautiful home just a short drive to the downtown. Very well stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Even had a high chair and pack and play available… very kid friendly. Beds were very comfortable. We loved being able to wake up each morning to deer and bunnies on the back lawn. :) easy check in and out process and when we asked for a late check out Adam and Megan were very accommodating!

My group stayed for my bachelorette party in this spacious and fully stocked home. We loved having coffee every morning outside on the patio - watching the deer, cardinals and squirrels roaming around. We were just 15 minutes away from Broadway making it the perfect escape but not too far from all the action.

My friends and I had a great week in Nashville. The home was lovely and the location was perfect and relaxing. Home owners were easy to get a hold of when needed.

A fabulous week in a superb ‘home from home’. The comfortable and well-equipped house was situated in the most magical location offering direct access to the wooded paths of Shelby Bottom with downtown Nashville only a short car ride away.

We had an excellent time in Nashville and our stay was amazing! Everything was clean and just as described. The house was a perfect fit for the 4 couples in our group! Thank you!

Pros-great space to spread out for a group. Cons-needs a deep clean, some TLC, and attention to the details. Beds are old, and the home needs a serious cleaning.

It was the perfect place for a weekend getaway to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. Clean and comfortable and close to major attractions but in a nice quiet neighborhood.

The hosts were both responsive and helpful the entire time. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood with a gorgeous walking trail right off of it. The house itself is large and very clean with everything you need including a binder of local recommendations. It was perfect for my work group, and we definitely recommend it to anyone coming to Nashville. Thank you so much!

Early morning or afternoon strolls along the Greenway, easy access to the Opry and downtown for music, along with many eclectic nearby food options made this an ideal combination for a family vacation.

What a beautiful home! We were visiting Nashville for the NWTF Convention and to get in some sightseeing. It was the perfect location to everything. Even better it was so quiet at night you didn't know you were in the city. Also, we got to see deer walking through the yard in the mornings.

We spent a long family weekend at this property. The house was as advertised. Very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The nearby greenway was a great place to hike and provided my 6 year old vacation and all of us a place to walk, burn energy, see many deer and birds. I have stayed in many VRBO’s and this was one of the most livable places we have stayed. I would highly recommend this property.
4.9
The house was truly amazing- incredibly clean, spacious, and had everything included that you could need. The owners were so kind and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and the trails behind the house were fantastic. An absolutely fantastic stay!

We came into town for a wedding, and found this a lovely place to stay. Getting up in the morning to watch deer grazing in the back yard was a treat and the birds greeted us as well. The paved path behind the property provided much needed relaxation from the activities. We could smell how clean things were when we walked in. Would recommend this place without hesitation.

Loved the location and loved all the great breakfast places that you listed in your book. Thank you

Enjoyed our stay! Clean and great location. Only note I would make would be to have the check in information sooner because we had family meeting us there from other states and they were asking for it earlier.

It was our first visit to Nashville. The house was in a great location. It was close to downtown but far enough to enjoy a calm environment. It was clean and well taken care of.

From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. The property was clean and inviting. The extras they had were phenomenal.

Went for a 5 day stay to explore Nashville with my sister and our husbands. Location was good if you like to be off the beaten path and quiet, which we did. Being next to the greenway was awesome for taking walks! Distance to downtown wasn’t bad. The house is a bit run down but ok. The hosts were very responsive.

Where Music City Meets Nature was perfect for our Nashville trip! The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the trail behind it and the deer sightings that came with it. The drive into downtown Nashville was very easy and quicker than we expected. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit!

This home was the perfect place for 8 old "baby boomers" to relax and rest our bodies while taking in the sites and sounds of Nashville! A quick drive to Opryland across the river or a short trip on Uber to Broadway, the Ryman, and music row, this home is in a residential setting and helped make our Nashville trip a stunning success at an affordable price. A big thank you to our hosts!

We really enjoyed your home! We visited from Kentucky on our annual girls’ trip. Your home was welcoming and we loved the wildlife visitors. We used the deck and dining room the most. It was nice and convenient to downtown and the Opryland. We used the bikes to take a morning ride. You may want to give them a little wd40. Everything was smooth and what we were expecting!
