Well kept, lovely house with great amenities and excellent communication from owners. It can be a bit noisy given the proximity to Route 100, but that's a minor issue. The house is very comfortable.

My 4 adult children and I spent a long weekend at this vacation spot. The house was great for our size group. There is a lovely deck overlooking the back yard and small beachfront area. The beach is shallow and weedy so not good for swimming, but perfect for launching the canoe and kayaks included in the rental price. We found a sandy bottomed, deep area by one of the islands where we spent our days swimming. We enjoyed evenings by the outdoor fire pit at the beach front, with surprisingly very few insects to bother us. I would happily recommend this place.

Thank you so much for opening your home to us. We loved the house, it was everything we hoped it to be. Cozy, clean, games for the kids, linens and towels were provided. Perfect house for our family and the location to the mountain was great. Grainne was so responsive from the beginning and she gave recommendations on where to eat and provided tips when skiing to make reservations in advance at the mountain for lunch due to the the covid restrictions so we came prepared and had a blast. We ate at Alta Tuscan Grille for my daughters birthday and luckily it was right down the street from the house so the location was perfect. The view on the lake was amazing and we all walked down to enjoy the views after the last day of skiing. It was a wonderful way to end our stay there. Next time I will remember to bring wood for the fireplace, that was one thing I didn’t realize we needed to bring. Looking forward to coming back!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The quiet location on the lake was perfect for our family. The home was clean and comfortable equipped well enough in the kitchen for us to prepare simple meals. We loved using the kayaks on the lake and the display of fall colors did not disappoint. Would recommend visiting… especially in the fall!

This lovely home had very comfortable furniture and a huge deck. The host provided 4 kayaks which we took out often on the lake. Would highly recommend this for a quiet getaway to recharge!

Two couples stayed at this cozy lake house. The location is great! Having coffee by the lake was so peaceful.
The home itself was very cozy and met our needs. If there were any complaints it would be the water pressure in the shower (I prefer more) and one of the beds were extremely noisy. Turning on your side would cause it to be squeeky and loud. It was however extremely comfortable.
Dealing with Grainne was extremely easy. We are definitely looking forward to coming back next summer and using the lake for more than just the views.

The Mac’s house was perfect for our family of five which includes three young kids. The house was very clean and has lake access where we caught many frogs, fished and kayaked!

It rained all but one day while we were in Ludlow, so we were grateful to have a home that was clean & comfortable. Grainne was easy to communicate with and helpful. We were a short ride from town where there were numerous restaurants to choose from. If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay, this home (and Ludlow) is the place to visit.

We had a wonderful stay in Ludlow. Property is nice- deck is amazing. Wish we had remembered our lawn games. We took the canoe and kayaks out on the water. Unfortunately, the lake front isn’t really swimmable, but it’s a beautiful lake to paddle around. We hit up Buttermilk Falls for swimming holes- super close to the house. Lots of little things to do and places to explore in the area. We had a couple of snafus upon check in, but Grainne was super responsive and made things right. She was also very accommodating during checking out. Only down side to the house is it is right on the road- you will hear the cars if you don’t plug in the fans. We will keep it in mind in the future.

Our favorite part about the house was the location. The property itself slopes down to the lake with a shallow, pebbly beach that was perfect for our young kids to splash around in. We also loved walking down to splash and swim at the red bridge waterfall at Lake Rescue (so convenient that it was within walking distance on quiet side streets). Plenty of boats available to paddle out onto the lake, and a huge deck with a large table for outdoor meals. We were there in late June and were pleasantly surprised that there were hardly any mosquitos.
Open floor plan downstairs was good. House had a few maintenance issues while we were there, but Grainne was quick to reply and sent assistance same day.

This was a very cute house and had everything we needed for a long weekend of skiing at Okemo. The property manager, Grainne, was responsive and welcoming.

The layout of the house worked perfect for a getaway for our family. With teens, they enjoyed their own room with a TV. The location was great to take daily road trips to nearby Vermont towns. Okemo is right up the road. The owner was great to work with and very responsive.

Very easy communication. Place was clean and just as the pictures present it. It feels like your grandparents ski/lake house.

It was a great place to stay. We loved using the kayaks on Lake Rescue and floating with the loons. The house was very comfortable and clean and we highly recommend it.

We had a very nice week kayaking and enjoying the beautiful fall scenery. The lake is beautiful and the water very clear. We saw Loons and Bald Eagles. The house is a bit close to a main road and there is some traffic noise especially since most Vermonters drive pick up trucks (or so it seems). I would recommend some better lighting as several of the florescent bulbs have burned out and should be replaced with LED bulbs.
