Let’s face it: it’s just the view. The place is located on a very noisy street where cars and trucks and motorcycles are permanently going thru.
Then there is the room… you wont get the dark. If you can sleep in bright light and with street noise, then the place will allow you to enjoy the view. Coffee on the bedroom terrace? Well.. if the people in room next door does the same, then you’ll have your coffee « with them ».
Linen is tired, can’t see anything « boutique » in there, so at the end of the day we wont return go back there.
But… the staff is very nice.

The was amazing, the gentleman at the reception is very friendly and helpful. He recommended us really nice places and bars to visit.
Duplex room is way too big, if you’re 2 people don’t really use the 1st floor.

amazing view, perfect location for city exploration
not proper for families with small kids. spa for 40 euro/ person doesn’t worth that money

The sea view and the spa
The name “Luxury Suites“ is far fetched. While the view is astounding, too many details are by far not. And for sure not “luxury“. Pity . With a bit more love to every detail (spa, breakfast, shower, bed, decoration, furniture, service), “luxury” might come…

room window in front of the sea was broken and difficult to open. i left a piece of bread on the table for 1 night and it was full of insects the day after

We loved the terrace, so peaceful and connected to the sea. Especially breakfast on the terrace was a real treat. Recommended to wake up at sunrise to enjoy the Siracusa washed by the low light.
The bedroom with its huge skylight was also a great experience.
Also, really good massage staff, and spa area was quite nice (although no steam available this time).
The bathroom felt small, especially for the price/type of the room. The toilet flush button would remain stuck and required some strong taps to make the water stop flowing...
Also only 1 complimentary water bottle (small size, plastic, mixed with the rest of paid drinks in the fridge) felt a bit underwhelming.

Room was fabulous and luxury with a sea view! Service was friendly and always helpful.
There was some problem with our window, so we could not close it and the airco could not be switched off. But service was helpful and they could control it from reception. :)

Location was good. 20min walk into the old town but that did not bother us at all. It meant we could park our car at the property for free and didn't incur any other charges.
The television was not good. No ability to use Netflix and you had to pay for channels to be able to watch movies or sports. Basically only NEWS channels available in English for free.

The location was outstanding, and our room overlooked the water, which was just beautiful. The room was beautiful, as were the common areas such as the lounge and breakfast area. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We especially appreciated Luca's cocktails!
There was nothing we didn't like; everything was exceptional.

Very bad experience with airport shuttle. They kept us waiting for 1,5 hours without informing us about the delay. Every time we called they told us the taxi would arrive ‘in a few minutes’.

Nice hotel and with a balcony that gives a view over the sea 😉 Friendly and helpful staff. Located at the port, and about 10 minutes walk from the old center.
Nothing, was good!

Room directly above the sea is exceptional. Wow. That's what makes the hotel special and the price high. But it's worth it. Breakfast was served in the room/on balcony and left no wishes open. Bathroom is small, bed fantastic. Parking for free on the street in front of the hotel. Ortigia is a 15 Minute walk away.
We have Junior Suite Platone (#105) which is located directly behind the reception. Literally next door to the reception desk. It's not very loud, although you can hear conversations etc from the front desk.
