We loved our stay here! The house worked well for a long weekend at the beach for our party of 7. The house was very comfortable and the host was great to work with. Our favorite part of the house was its location to beach access - right across the street. This made it easy to shuttle kids back and forth from the beach during the day. We would definitely return!

So convenient as beach access is across the street. So nice for each bedroom to have their own bathroom. Only thing that would keep us from booking again is how small and tight the kitchen is and no pantry space. Communication was great and place was clean.

Loved the arrangement of rooms on different levels with each bedroom having its own bathroom. Plenty of privacy for everyone. Wish the kitchen was a little bigger with more cabinet space since we cooked most of our meals, but we were able to adjust. Loved having the beach access just across the street! I will definitely rent this house again!

We loved this property! It was important to us that each bedroom had its own bath and there was lots of comfy seating in the living area. Also a big enough table for everyone to have a place! Bonus that it was right across from a beach access! Kitchen was well stocked and owner was responsive to questions.

The house at 201 East 1st Street is very lovely, comfortable and convenient. The decor throughout the house is very lovely and makes you feel right at home. There are plenty of puzzles and games in the downstairs bedroom closet to keep the kids occupied on those rainy/stormy days when the beach is not an option. The living area and bedrooms facing the beach, even though not oceanfront, still provides an incredible view of the ocean. All beds and the furniture in the general living area are very comfortable as we were all able to get a good nights sleep. There is plenty of parking under the house and also was a nice venue for a family picnic, as we were able to take advantage of the public parking spaces on the side of the house, as the house is located at a corner where there is public beach access. A simple stroll across the street and the wooden walkway and you are on the beach! The owners are very friendly in their correspondance and responsive to any questions regarding your stay there. I recommend this house for any family of 8 to 12 people looking for a fun week at Ocean Isle Beach. It's a house that both kids and adults will enjoy!

We have been coming to OIB for 20 years and have stayed in this house 6 times. It accommodates our family quit well. 3 different levels is a nice feature, along with a bathroom for each bedroom. The beach access is very close. We like being able to see the ocean from the porch. We have already booked this house for next year!

What a great stay at the beach! We had a group of 10 - 6 adults and 4 younger children. Clean and looks great. Cannot beat the location unless you do beachfront so access to beach was fantastic. Annette was very helpful with excellent communication. Everyone loved the house and can't wait to book it for next year.

What a wonderful property! The house was beautiful and so roomy. We had everything we needed. As one of our group had some physical issues, having the beach access right across the street was perfect. The front facing porches and balconies provided picture perfect views of the ocean. Annette was very available for questions and needs. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

Our family enjoyed our stay at this beach house. The owner was very helpful and easy to reach. This was our first trip to Ocean Isle and we were very pleased with the beach house and its location right across from the access. It’s a very comfortable and appealing house both with furniture and beach decor. The kitchen is small, but well stocked with everything we needed and then some. We all loved the main floor deck and porch. We would definitely book this beach house again!

Although we got in a little later than expected, the house was well cleaned. Large rugs need to be cleaned. Dishwasher wasn’t cooperating the last night, but we left a note. Location was perfect! We enjoyed our week.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was better then expected. Very clean when we arrived. Lots of supplies left, took up much needed pantry and cabinet space. Access to beach and other events were perfect. Close to everything or just a golf cart away! Vacuum didn't work at all, so we swept trying to keep the sand at bay. Lots of room everywhere, even the kitchen though small was very efficient. We loved it and would request again except, several members of our family didn't come this year due to Covid and military deployments. Hopefully they will be back for next years family trip. We have been coming to OIB for 19 years. This was our 6th stay in this house. We love the layout of the house. We love the proximity to the beach. The new floor was a great improvement. We aren’t sure how much longer we can afford this house because the price increased quite a bit for next year. We could have used a second key. We usually have good luck city with the people next door, but this year there were several teenagers who blared music with bad language day and night. Not only was it intrusive but disrespectful as we have young children. The kitchen is small. We love all of the outdoor furniture and rockers.

The location was absolutely perfect! Directly across from beac access! The house in front of us was low so we had a great view of the beach from all the balconies. House had everything we needed. Having plenty of bathrooms and space for the whole family. 5 adults and 4 kids. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Ocean Isle. We had 3 families with young babies (8 months and 5 months) and it was the perfect location for easy access to the beach. There was tons of porch space for relaxing at the house while babies napped. We used the chair and umbrella rental and set-up service so it was very easy to walk out to the beach and be ready to go. The house was very clean. Several items were not functioning - the outdoor shower was broken and there were no paper products, soap or trash bags upon arrival. This was a minor inconvenience, as we were able to run to the grocery store and grab items we needed, but it would have been nice to at least have 1 trash bag, 1 roll of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels when we arrived so we didn't have to rush to the store. Communication with Annette was very easy and we got quick responses to any questions we had. We would recommend staying here and would definitely stay again!

Upon arriving, we all immediately knew our stay was going to be a memorable one. The exterior and interior were in immaculate shape with plenty of room for our large family to be together for shared activities as well as the ability to spread out when needed. The close distance to the sand made it extremely easy to leisurely come and go to the beach throughout the day. And when even more relaxing was preferred, simply sitting on one of the several decks looking at the ocean was a treat in itself. We enjoyed it so much, it is very likely we will return for a future visit.

I stayed here with my Book Club for a girls' weekend this past weekend. We loved the house! We would love to stay here again. It is a 5 bed, 5 bath house and ALL of the rooms are nice. You can see the ocean from the living room and kitchen which is nice when you're cooking. The front porch is large and part of it is covered which is great when it's hot. The house is right across the street from the beach access so it only takes a couple of minutes and you're on the beach. Our group has been taking a yearly beach trip for about 13 years now, and this is one of the nicest, most spacious houses we've stayed in. I would highly recommend it. Would love to go back!!
