A “medieval” stay in lovely Siena!

Hotel was unique - built in an old palace, room design & amenities were modern comfortable & clean, although a bit narrow. Location was a bit away from the noisier part of the Siena town centre, and not too far from the parking - although it can be a bit tiring if carrying heavy luggage. But otherwise, it was a wonderful stay.

Parking charges are quite expensive.

Soggiorno meraviglioso e staff eccezionale

Nella stanza c'erano tutti i comfort necessari e allo stesso tempo era esteticamente molto bella, pulita e spaziosa. Oltretutto la posizione è fantastica perche è in pieno centro storico di Siena. Lo staff molto preparato e super accogliente. Complimenti!

Our favourite hotel in Italy—by far!

The building and room were just beautiful and the service impeccable. We loved the ambience and the building was interesting at every turn. The bath facilities were modern and imaginatively done. Breakfast was also the best we had anywhere. Stay here if you can!

Perfect hotel from which to discover Sienna

Breakfast is buffet style with a good selection to choose from. The staff are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure you make the most of your stay.

The rooms are not well sound proofed so you do hear quite clearly what is happening in the neighbouring rooms.

Elegant, welcoming, calming and comfortable.

The hotel was beautifully appointed and decorated with great sympathy for the antiquity of the building. Such a calm and tranquil atmosphere.The breakfast was fresh and varied with friendly staff on hand to help. During the day there was always somebody around to help out with any requests or queries. It was quiet at night. The honesty bar came in very handy when returning late and in need of a night cap.

The wet room could have been a little larger - but this is a small point.

Fabulous stay in Siena.

This property is absolutely gorgeous, 13th century and is very special. The staff were amazing and breakfast delicious.

Nothing I disliked but if you are not very mobile the stairs could be difficult if the lift was unavailable.

Perfect one night stay while visiting our daughter in Siena.

What a unique place. As an interior designer, I appreciate well designed spaces and architecture. This hotel used to be a 13th century palace/private residence and it is remarkable. They used every square inch of space creatively and functionally and the bathroom was modern with amenities . The staff was lovely and helpful and we enjoyed our stay so much. Would highly recommend if you’d like cool and unusual boutique hotels.

Nothing not to like here. But if you’re wearing heels (or had a few too many glasses of wine) be very careful on their extremely old and original staircases. Parking was challenging.

Amazing historic & contemporary hotel in one of Italys most beautiful citys.

Super friendly staff, helped us in everyway possible. The building is amazing and has been restored perfectly, its very contemporary and has lots of fun quirks. The breakfast was perfect, great variety. We will definitely return!
