Janet is the most gracious hostess and the house was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable, the furnishings cozy and the deck and porch were perfect for lounging in the sea breeze. The outdoor shower and ability to explore the tide pools just down the banking were our favorite parts; right behind the quick walk to the light house, which made our stay and explorations so convenient and relaxing.

This cottage was perfect for our stress free getaway! It provided us with privacy and close enough to explore pemaquid lighthouse and beach along with other attractions. The cottage itself was beautiful with special little touches in every nook and cranny. Everything you could possibly need was stocked at the cottage. My favorite was the beautiful screened in porch. My husband and I ate out there whenever we stayed in and cooked. We also enjoyed birdwatching on the deck as the bird feeders attracted such a nice variety of birds. The hostess was very easy to communicate with and very prompt and helpful in her responses. We will definitely stay there again if we ever visit that area of Maine again.

Let me start by saying Janet is a wonderful host. She was very helpful with our booking and questions we had. Her suggestions of where to go and what to see were spot on. Her response to our questions were quick.
This beautiful cottage felt like home the moment we walked in. All the essentials and more could be found here. The cottage is surrounded by beautiful gardens and bits of whimsy peeking out from everywhere. There is a large screen porch that feels more like part of the house with comfortable wicker furniture full of pillows and blankets for those cool mornings and cooler evenings. Along with a nice table and chairs. The view of the water is great and there is a path to walk down to the water with a beautiful bench to sit and watch the fisherman and birds.
We can't wait to book next year. Thank you Janet.

Always a pleasure
The better we get to know Pemaquid, the more we appreciate our time out near the point. Really a splendid getaway—rewards repeat visits, always more to discover about the area. The cottage itself is in great shape. Janet keeps everything very clean; the kitchen is well stocked, and appliances are in good working order. The bed is very comfortable, ideal for drifting off to sleep listening to the wind in the birches or the waves in the bay.

Whimsical and cozy cottage in a magical place
Janet was very accommodating and very responsive. This beautiful cottage was beautifully decorated with lots of cozy blankets, pillows, candles, lanterns, books and items related to the area. Attention to detail was paid in every corner.
Gardens are breathtaking and flowers can be viewed from every location within and outside.
Although we did not have an opportunity to use the outside shower, we were quite curious and will have to book again for this opportunity.

Quiet Relaxing Comfortable Cottage

The location was convenient for walks, enjoying sunsets by the water as well as local galleries and restaurants and local points of interest. We definitely recommend the cottage.

A wonderful get-away cottage!
This Pemaquid Point cottage is very welcoming and in a lovely location. A comfortable bench at the end of a short path provided a perfect spot to sit and watch the tide come crashing in as the sun slowly set. Both sea and sunsets are also visible, through trees, from the living room and deck.
The cottage is very well equipped - books, games, binoculars, firewood, picnic basket, blankets etc, etc. The kitchen, though narrow, has everything anyone might want - including a lemon zester and a nutmeg grater!
The cottage was clean and well cared for - obviously a well-loved family vacation spot. Petunias & other flowers appeared to have been planted in the flower boxes shortly before we arrived (late May) and we made sure they had water during the warm, sunny days we were lucky to enjoy. It was early in the season so not all restaurants were open in the evening, but we called ahead and the Bradley Inn served us a marvelous dinner.
I'd highly recommend the cottage to anyone wanting a true get-away vacation - no television or wi-fi, but there is a strong cell phone signal if needed.

We had a great weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the cottage. One of the best relaxing times we have had in a long time. The cottage was everything and more. Would stay again with out a question.
Thank you to Janet for a fantastic weekend.

A perfect Maine experience!
This is a great cottage to really enjoy your Maine experience. Fully-stocked in a thoughtful way, everything is waiting for you upon arrival! There's fresh firewood by the fireplace, a hairdryer in the bedroom and binoculars waiting by the door. Janet is responsive and really seems to anticipate what someone could need to enjoy their stay. The screened porch and back deck are wonderful spots for meals, reading books or watching the sunset. The cabin is close to New Harbor for shopping, groceries and meals, and it's within walking distance of the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse for picturesque views and history. Check out Maine Kayaking for day adventures, and the Pemaquid Lobster Coop for delicious food and a gorgeous view. We can't say enough good things about the cottage and experience--and thanks for making it a welcoming place for our dog!

Great vacation
The cottage was very charming and we were always finding interesting books and items to look at. Three generations were very happy here for four days. It was very peaceful and we had the beach to ourselves. I would definitely recommend to friends and will return again.

Sunsets, lobsters, & lighthouses.
Our stay at the cottage was wonderful. Weather was pretty good most of the week. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Kitchen space was small, but not an issue if you visited any of the number of local establishments to eat. Screened in porch was wonderful for the breeze and seeing the sunsets daily. Could easily see the water through the trees and watch the lobster boats as they pulled their traps. Owner was very hospitable in our interactions. A great place for a couple or small family. Lack of TV forced us to read daily (not a bad thing at all!).
