This lovely two-story floor plan is a design that takes full advantage of the magnificent Poipu coastline and sunset views. The large spa situated on the deck is the perfect place to relax and enjoy after a day at the beach. You can hear the waves crashing upon the shore from almost every bedroom and throughout the common areas of the home. We are return visitors, you cannot be the location of the house across the street from Brennecke beach in Poipu. We could watch our boys boogie boards in the waves from the couch or kitchen table. Plenty of space with ocean views, great pool and spa to unwind. Kitchen fully equipped we barbequed several nights as well for our large group. We love it!

We had a great stay, the view from the screened porch overlooking the beach and ocean was awesome! Pool was very refreshing and well kept, along with the hot tub. The beach nearby often allowed a close look at some monk seals and Hawaiian green turtles daily.

The house worked great for our family's stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the kitchen well stocked - there even was a blender for smoothies. The host was great and responded promptly to some minor issues we had. Location was great - spectacular ocean views and two beaches across the road. The kids had fun swimming in the pool.

The house is in an incredibly convenient location with amazing views! We loved our time there and hope to come back one day. Each day we woke up to the sound of the waves crashing ashore and took a short walk to see the turtles and monk seals on the beach. The house and kitchen are well stocked with everything you need to cook or walk to the beach.

This couldn't have been a more perfect location for our family vacation. Walking distance to the beach, a beautiful view and the ocean to lull us to sleep every night. Amenities were spot on and the hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. We will definitely be back on our next stay on Kauai! Mahalo!

This home was exactly as pictured, beautiful! It literally was across the street from 1 beach and 5 min. walk to another. We enjoyed the privacy on the deck and in the best pool. It was well stocked in the kitchen, beds and couch so comfy, good communication with owners, and the view....There's nothing wrong with this place. OK, 1 thing. They need better bed pillows. This place checked all the boxes. Best vaca ever!

Absolutely enjoyed this wonderful home...saw dolphins, turtles, whales and lots of chickens,,,,.(bring binoculars) right from the comfort of the breakfast table. A morning swim to start the day...very convenient to surfing too. Black out curtains would be a great addition as there are lots of evening lights.

Our family has stayed at Hale Hali'a for five times, and we love the location and the home. The screen porch is perfect for watching sunrises, sunsets, whales -- and this year dozens of dolphins came to play. The kitchen is a dream especially for a family of fabulous cooks. We look forward to coming again.

Location Location Location!!! You can not beat it. Right across the street is the beach. You can see the ocean and hear the waves. It’s absolutely beautiful. We had 5 adults and 2 kids, 5 & 3. We all had our own bedroom and the house provided plenty of room for all of us. Very clean and comfortable. Great communication as well. We loved the hot tub and pool. We would stay there again in a heart beat. Thank you for sharing your oasis!!!

The location is wonderful. The house is immediately across from a good body/boogie board surfing beach. To the right within a very short walk across a public park are a kiddie beach, a protected reef for shallow water snorkeling, a turtle and seal refuge, and a bit further a beautiful beach with middling waves and deeper water snorkeling. For early morning before-sunrise walks, there is a lit paved path up the hill to the Grand Hyatt. The house was amply sized for a very large, extended family (2 grandparents, 5 adult children, and 3 young grandchildren). You feel like you are at the beach in the very large family, dining room, kitchen area at the front of the property, which overlooks the ocean and beach. Everyone could (and did) hang out there and not feel crowded. This area is very well furnished and thoughtfully laid out. The downstairs bedrooms, where our adult children and grandchildren stayed, were each just large enough for a portable crib and a small inflatable bed. All the beds were comfortable. There are three large bathrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, including two large refrigerators. The hot tub was much used, particularly by the young ones. The pool is attractive but chilly in winter. The house is the best maintained VRBO property we have stayed at. There was one small issue that the owners immediately addressed (they were nice to talk with on the phone). This is the best place we have stayed on the Islands. I hope we can return.

We loved staying at this property. Everyday we walked across the street to the beach and to the park to see the turtles. It is really convenient to have the restaurant and deli just down the street. The house is really big and comfortable. The view of the ocean is stunning. We also used the pool every single day and my kids had a blast.

I have nothing negative to say about this beautiful home. EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT!! The location, the pool, the hot tub, everything you need to live as a family in Hawaiin paradise!! Ian was a great host. Very responsive, accommodating and friendly. We really hope to return again. My husband and I and our 3 adult sons and their wife/girfriends enjoyed every single moment here!!! Comfortable accommodations for 8 adults. Don’t hesitate, book this amazing place!!!

Spectacular view and location for a family vacation. Pictures of this home don’t do justice! We can’t decide if our favorite part was the indoor/outdoor patio or being able to walk out the front door to the beach. The home was very roomy and the hosts were amazing to work with. Our favorite Hawaii vacation home ever!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hale Halia! The great room was the perfect place to enjoy the unobstructed views of the ocean. I loved all of the screened windows which allowed us to feel the breeze all day. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub every day often after a swim in the ocean across the street. We would rent this house again!

We had a wonderful stay! It’s the perfect location to enjoy Kauai. The house was well stocked (beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, pool floats, toiletries, even a portable crib). The main living area and sun room look out to the beach and it was so enjoyable for a family with young kids who spend time at the house (naps, meals, etc.). Would absolutely book again!

This location is unbeatable. We never had to drive anywhere because there are three awesome beaches right across the street and restaurants in walking distance. The view from the house is incredible. The layout of bedrooms is ideal for multiple families. The house was well stocked and clean. Highly recommended!

Hale Halia has been the perfect spot for our family during our visit to Kauai. The house is well-equipped and perfectly positioned with a breath-taking view and easy beach access. The pool and hot tub got lots of use. The furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked with cookwear and utensils for our use. Ian and Irene went out of their way to make this vacation work for my family and I am so grateful!

This property did not disappoint! The ocean view was spectacular, sunset & whale watching unforgettable. A very clean, well stocked, and thoughtful layout of home for our size group. The pool and hot tub serves as added bonuses towards the enjoyment of this home. The care of this home and immaculate landscaping speaks volume about the Owners and their desire to provide an exceptional experience for those who decide to dwell in their loving and warm home. We had a wonderful stay at this property! The bedroom and interior lay out of the house is bright and spacious. The screened in lanai was perfect for morning cooffee and to hear the sound of the ocean. The pool and hot tub are definate highlights along with the small lawn for sunbathing. Definately a gem in poipu!

This was our second stay at Hale Halia and it has become our home away from home. We travel to Hawaii each December with my 100 year old father who is a survivor of the attack on Pearl Harbor and after the ceremony at Pearl Harbor we hop over to Kauai for a week of relaxation. Ian is a perfect host who provides a lot of nice personal touches. He is very responsive to emails and goes out of his way to be helpful. The house is spotless, well stocked, and has an amazing view. Staying there is a 10/10 experience, you simply can't go wrong with this one.

Great multi-generational vacation. The location was perfect for the whole family with easy access to a number of beaches. The pool added a lot of fun for small kiddos. The house layout was ideal as far as comfort and privacy. The only drawback was the non-functioning oven from day one. We enjoyed the natural beauty of Kauai.

The views of the ocean were incredible! Loved relaxing in the hot tub and pool and having beautiful surroundings to look at. Enjoyed Being within walking distance to the beach, shops and great restaurants which was such a convenience. Highly recommend staying here and would definitely stay there again!
