Our group of 7 enjoyed our 5 night stay at the Barn. The scenery was beautiful. We spent most of our time outdoors at the pond- enjoying the view, kayaking, paddle boating & swimming. The fire pit area offered plenty of seating & view of the pond. We also utilized some of the indoor activities such as the pool table, air hockey & ping pong tables The Barn offered plenty of space for us to spread out & relax and to gather together for meals & games. My Uncle is wheelchair bound & he was able to access the main floor & downstairs recreation areas. The double doors made it easy to navigate his electric wheelchair. The main floor bedroom was spacious & handicap accessible. There was ample space between the floor and bed frame to easily accommodate my uncle’s portable electric hoyer lift. We would definitely stay here again & recommend the Barn to others that utilize lift devices for special needs. Our only suggestion for improvement would be to not have the lawn crew or the driveway workers show up so early. On our last morning of vacation, Both crews showed up bright & early…Making lots of noise. This prevented us from being able to enjoy our final morning outdoors. We suggest you schedule lawn & other work crews to come after check out time. Other than that - we had a wonderful time! & enjoyed the Barn & property! Kind regards, Karen & family

The Barn is an incredible place for families of all ages. We had a group of 20 people ranging from four years old to 90. The owners have put their heart and soul into making this into a comfortable and beautiful place to stay. It was quiet, and felt secluded and serene, even though located near a relatively busy road. The kids loved swimming and fishing, the older adults loved being able to be close by the lake with plenty of comfortable seating. The owners are great to work with.
The only things we would have liked but weren't there were a juicer (which the owner is now getting) and an outside faucet. We can't recommend this place enough!

The perfect place to "get away".
Beautiful property and accommodations.
Entertaining is a breeze in the Barn!! Lots of room to spread out, share laughs, and have fun with family and friends.

Our women's fellowship group had our second retreat in The Barn; we made the reservation last year immediately after staying there. We have already booked for next year. The Barn is spacious, well equipped, with room to spread out or to gather. There are plenty of comfortable beds with extra blankets, pillows, linens, etc. The accommodations hold a group well. The Barn was very clean and well decorated, and Rich and Lisa are very responsive if needed. There was a family group staying in in the nearby home, "The Retreat," but we had plenty of parking and room. We didn't bother each other. We highly recommend The Barn for a gathering such as ours or a family reunion. Combined, the two properties would be perfect for a larger reunion or friends' gathering. The early spring weather didn't allow for spending much time outdoors, but it would be wonderful in the summer. All in all, our group loves "The Barn." We ate one dinner at Welshfield Inn and highly recommend that, too.

We had a lovely time staying here. Would definitely consider coming back in the summer.

We stayed at the Barn for our annual fall family get away. The renovated and recently updated Barn both met and exceeded all of our expectations. We had many activities available to us without ever having to leave the property. The kitchen is very nicely stocked with every appliance you may possibly need. The Barn offers many options for all to sleep very comfortably. The owners are very accommodating and responsive. This is a beautiful property and we look forward to returning for many more family gatherings.

We do an annual cabin getaway with friends each year. This property is hands down the nicest, cleanest, overall best cabin we’ve been to. The hosts were so thoughtful with the amenities and were great to work with. Would highly recommend this cabin to anyone and we look forward to staying again in the future.

We needed a place to stay while they were refinishing our floors. We had a challenge for us because my husband is in a wheelchair and we have 2 dogs. There were very few places that could accommodate both. Fortunately my daughter discovered "the Barn" in her search. The Barn was the perfect place and very peaceful and beautiful. It was very clean and the kitchen was so well equipped with anything you may want. The doorways were perfect for a wheel chair and the bed just the right height. The grounds are gorgeous and our dogs enjoyed that. We also were able to arrive a little earlier which we really appreciated. Thanks for a great getaway.

The Barn at evergreen pond provided the perfect setting for our family reunion. The outdoor setting is lovely, inviting and impeccably maintained without being fussy. There is ample parking space.
There is plenty of room for 2 or 3 people to branch out and enjoy an activity indoors without becoming too loud. There are well intentioned areas of seating that encourage conversation as well as places to get some alone time to read, etc. The communal dining areas allow space for all diners. You feel all together but not crowded. The porch is equally comfortable with seating and dining areas. The amenities keep every age group enthralled. Everyone upon arrival had the same descriptive word for the Barn - awesome!

This was our 3rd time staying here and the place is better every time! There was something for everyone, and the ramp and grab bars were very helpful in accommodating family with limited mobility. We caught fish, played pickle ball, kayaked, played games at the large table, and enjoyed the fire pit, and the comfortable beds. Rich and Lisa are so helpful and kind. We highly recommend staying at the Barn and we are looking forward to our next visit!

Our family gives 10 stars out of 10 stars to the The-Barn-on-Evergreen-Pond. We also give the Hosts-Rich & Lisa 10+++ stars. Over the past 7 years we have gone on family vacations each year at different homes but this location was by far the BEST (unanimously by all)! The BARN (It really is a converted BARN) is beautiful, comfortable, and has everything you need and could possibly want for all ages! We had ages from 70's to 9. We did swim in the pond, used the paddle boat and kayaks, played pickleball, played all the games in the BARN, and the highlight of each day was the fire pit where we made s'mores and talked about all that we had done that day - some people went to The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame - Cleveland, some went to Akron and visited the Siberling Estate (Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens), some went to the Football Hall of Fame- Canton. Although the BARN is in the country- you are close enough to do a lot more and come back to the BARN and relax and enjoy it!!!! Rich and Lisa had a dream about the BARN and they have succeeded beyond expectations. They were the best HOSTS we have had on our many vacations. All of us have nothing but good memories about the BARN. We hope to return in the future. Again we cannot say enough about the Hosts and the BARN but WONDERFUL!!!!!!

Our women's fellowship group spent the weekend at The Barn in early March. We've been going on annual retreats for many years, but as our group has grown, we have had a harder time finding locations large enough. This year--our first retreat since the pandemic--we had 13. We loved the Barn! We had more than enough beds and room to spread out. The kitchen had been renovated beautifully since we had viewed the Barn two months prior, and bedrooms also had been refreshed with new beds. A lower level bedroom had also been added. We were impressed! The Barn was very well equipped, and Rich and Lisa were extremely responsive to anything we needed. We enjoyed hiking the paths on the grounds; had it been warmer, we would have spent more time outdoors. There's lots to do in the home as well with the ping pong, pool table, and more. We enjoyed our stay so much that we have already reserved a weekend next year. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay, there’s some much to do whether you’re inside or out. The pond is beautiful and so clean our dogs really had a blast swimming and jumping around. All of the inside games kept our boys amused for hours. We would definitely stay here again!

The property and home were beautiful. The house was well stocked with everything you would need. The beds were so comfortable with high end bedding/pillows. We LOVED the front porch for relaxing and the yard was perfect for games and fires in the fire pit.

Our group of women started our retreat by breathing a sigh of relief to be in such a gorgeous, restful, spacious place. We combined The Barn with The Retreat on the same property which generously housed 20+ ladies for an incredible weekend. The amazing indoor spaces were thoroughly equipped with everything needed and creatively decorated but not cluttered. The outdoor views of the pond, woods, and well-kept yard area provided renewal to our spirits. You could literally be there for a week and not have time to enjoy all of the amenities that the owners provide. Rich and Lisa were completely responsive to our questions and such gracious hosts. The ladies departed renewed and refreshed--already asking if we can return there for our next retreat! Our time at the Barn and the Retreat truly provided a breath of fresh air to our group!

Last year we celebrated my son’s 30th birthday and a year later we went back for my daughter’s. This barn is clean, fully equipped, and has SO much to do even in the winter! And has the bonus of being able to bring our dogs. This has become our favorite place and a new family tradition!

The Barn on Evergreen pond was everything we wanted. We were amazed at all the activities in and outside the home. There wasn't anything we wished was different. The kids enjoyed everything and were never bored and that was without ever watching TV. The kitchen had everything you could ever need and the bedrooms were better than the add showed. The living space was absolutely spacious. And all the extras provided for our stay was something we never experienced before. For example a coffee bar, snacks, and a dog basket with everything needed for our dogs. This place was a definite 5 star experience and we would love to visit again.

Our 2 large families (3 parents and 14 kids ages 1-19) got together and never lacked opportunities for fun and relaxation together. We were pleasantly surprised that pictures didn’t capture just how nice this place is. The furnishings are all high end: leather upholstery, memory foam mattresses not all, but several), quality dining table with sturdy chairs, we could go on and on. We already started considering how soon we can re-book here for another vacation. It was absolutely all that we hoped for and more. Five and a half stars!

The property is lovely. Especially in the winter with light snow fall. Very pretty setting. The house / renovated barn has slot of charm. Great space for socializing and spacious for entertaining and playing all the fun games it has to offer. Overall, loved the entire experience. Host was very helpful and thorough with welcome links and attractions, etc.

This place is absolutely beautiful. We could not have stayed at a better place than this one. It has everything that you would have in your own house and more. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been warmer weather like we are used to in Texas!! Thanks for everything

We are two families, traveling from Missouri and Maine - this location was our halfway meeting point, and boy, did we hit the jackpot! The owners are the sweetest and the property blew us away!! The barn was stocked with everything we could need, and Lisa even brought over more pans for us to cook our Thanksgiving meal without us asking! :) The space inside is fantastic, so many fun games for our family to play together and plenty of room to spread out when we need a break, haha! We couldn't have asked for a better location for our family Thanksgiving - and the weather was surprisingly nice for November, we got to use the water features!! We are already talking about coming back in the future - thanks for a great stay!

My husband, kids, grandkids, and myself had a great experience at your barn. We utilize everything from the great game selections in the house to the pond for fishing and swimming, kayaks, and paddle boat. Even the tennis and basketball court. I definitely recommend. Had everything we needed plus!!

The property is amazing! It has something for everyone. A pond with swim platform/raft to kayak, paddle boat and swim, basketball & tennis court, woods to hike, pond to fish and fire pit. Inside there is dish tv, pool, ping pong, shuffleboard, air hockey and board game galore. So much space and enough beds to accommodate a very large group.
The property owners have put so much effort into The Barn and have created a great space for people to come together. Our family has 5 kids 11 & under and they entertained themselves for 4 days with out one request for electronics!! We lived our best lives here for four days over a long family weekend. We will return, and we highly recommend you experience The Barn!!
Thanks Rich, Lisa and, of
course the pups!!!

Property was everything described, and even better in-person.
The kids loved swimming, kayaking, and paddleboating in the pond. Fire pit was convenient and the decorative lights were a great touch. Lots of indoor activities too - pool table, foosball, ping-pong, classic board games.
Sleeping arrangements were also great - lots of room and then some, with trundle beds under the bunk beds that made the "kids room" really fun for them.
Can't say enough good things - very very happy with our stay, and the price point was *very* reasonable. Thank you for the great memories.

Great Property. Pictures don't do it justice. Tons of room, very well stocked. Perfect for families- something for everyone to do and great place to do nothing at all but relax and enjoy the beauty of nature around you. Loved the visits from the dogs as well. Would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect Retreat!!
We had such an awesome time staying at The Barn! There were 15 of us ranging in ages from 3 to Grandma and Grandpa (no ages given!!), and it was perfect for all of us. We had plenty of space inside and out to keep busy, have fun, or just relax. The kids had their own space downstairs, and there were several great gathering places for the adults throughout the house as well as outside. We so enjoyed the ponds, the boats, the tennis court, and the fire ring. Everything was clean and comfortable. The owners were very kind and responded quickly to communication. We've come together for family vacations for 14 years, and this may well be our favorite spot!!

Weather in Ohio of course was not the best. Spring break with t2-3 inches of snow never good. But, games, pool table, ping pong, fuse ball and so much more to do inside. Kids/teens had a ball. Clean and spacious. We truly felt at home!
