We (15 of us ages 3-75) LOVED the location as it was within walking distance of the beach and close to the zoo. The house had plenty of sleeping space and plenty of hot water for showering. There are a lot of stairs if you need exercise, a bit challenging for a sedentary person. The overall appearance was clean and livable, however lacking a meticulous clean standard. The first evening we discovered dishes had been put away wet as some were slimy to touch and only one of the TV remotes had batteries. Over time we also noticed dust bunnies under beds and behind furniture. The house needs maintenance attention as there are water stains on ceilings, a deck door didn't lock and one toilet was loose and shifted. The roof deck table is not as pictured, the top is treated lumber that has warped making it uneven while some of the deck chairs are very wobbly and stuck into a corner for a reason. Additionally, watch out for the back stair landing, the edge is not clearly visible for individuals with sight issues. Overall, I’d give it an average plus rating and we would use it again for the entire family.

We had a lovely stay! The house was tidy and well appointed, and the location was perfect for our group—steps from a clean and welcoming beach. We had 16 people, ages 22 months to 80 years. Everyone had a comfy place to sleep. The house is large enough, with several different kinds of indoor and outdoor spaces. We could be together when we wanted, and people could wander away with a book and be out of sight when they needed. We loved having two kitchens. That was helpful for our various dietary needs. The enormous dining table was a real plus. I would definitely recommend the house for large groups. The 10 pm quiet curfew on the outdoor spaces might have been difficult for a rowdy bunch, but it was fine for us.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Sundancer property. It was very spacious with great amenities, including 2 kitchens, grills, washer and dryer, and the view from the rooftop deck was spectacular. This was our first visit to Michigan City, Indiana and location couldn't have been better. We were within walking distance to the beach, Washington Park, and the zoo. Very cute local restaurants and local grocery store within a short drive. Locals were very friendly and welcoming. I only wish we could've stayed a little longer!

Great location for the Brew Fest and the house was big enough for all 9 of us! Will be thinking of this house for a summer vacation for us all.

Internet in the house was not working. The property manager sent someone who had no expertise to fix it. It seems that limited number of people could get on the WiFi. Pans and pots were very old and dirty. House was nice and clean overall and well located. However due to internet issues and poor kitchen equipment, out stay was not optimal.

We had a wonderful time with 3 generations together. The beach was very close and it was an easy walk to it even with multiple grandchildren. The house was beautiful and clean. The rooftop was amazing and a thrill for the grandkids. However the internet was slow or not working when multiple people tried to use it at one time. I really hope this can be taken care of for future trips. Other than that we all had a good time and we have already booked the house again for next year .

Bed bugs were found before we went to sleep the first night. Sketchy landscaping crew came at 6pm Friday evening. Could NOT get in touch with someone to address the bed bugs until I called MULTIPLE times. The property manager took too much time to get back with us about the bed bugs. THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO CONSIDER NOT FULLY REFUNDING US!!! We had actual BED BUGS in the main bedroom. You could SEE them!! It took over a WEEK for any refund of any kind. We had a large group with us that had vacationed at this property several times before and we will ABSOLUTELY never be returning. To say we are beyond disappointed and scared from the experience is a complete understatement!! I have never experienced such poor communication and customer service in my life!! Beware of staying at this property and dealing with this company!!!

Loved the house. Just wish the Wi-Fi worked a lot better. Some of the televisions were not hooked up to the Wi-Fi or to the roku’s that were with the tv’s. Phone service was very spotty for all different cell phone providers. I wish the floors were cleaner and the not so gritty. Some of the bar stool chairs were gritty as well.
The house is very cute and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. Loved the amount of space. Thank you for letting us stay in your very cute home.

Wonderful family vacation with four generations of family.I think this is our fourth year in Sundancer. Accommodations are wonderful. The location is An easy walk to the beach, especially now with the path. The large dining room accommodates our family for dinners.. We love the rooftop for star watching.

Would not change a thing other than the Wi-Fi was poor and we need directions for the remotes on how to get any of the tv’s to work- not such a bad thing when you are on vacation, but several needed to check in for work and had a difficult time getting a connection.

Overall, the house was great. The Wifi not so much. Everyone had lots of trouble connecting and staying connected. Cell coverage was poor too, within the house (as a side note). Proximity to the beach was great and the rooftop deck was fabulous.
One bit of constructive feedback, the towels should be updated, and the kitchen ware should be better organized, and thinned out. Coffee machines needed to be cleaned.
