Great location in Logan Circle, which is a very walkable area, plus it comes with a parking pass for your vehicle, so you can drive when necessary. The apartment has good AC, which helps a lot in the hot DC summer, and was well stocked with towels, toiletries, and water bottles. Apartment was exactly as described and communication was good. Only minor issue was the wifi was a little slow and spotty, so I wouldn't recommend for someone who has to rely on wifi for work or Zoom calls, but we weren't in the apartment much during the day anyway as we were exploring the city.

The property was as described. Convenient location. Easy to navigate. The owner was prompt to respond and easy to work with. For parking, we were supposed to send him our car make and model in advance, but I had a rental I picked up that day- he was still very accommodating in helping us with parking. I recommend reading the helpful tip book- it helped us navigate during our stay.

Clean, convenient location, well stocked apartment. Enjoyed our stay

This was the perfect home away from home while we visited DC. It was perfectly located. The description and pictures do not do this place justice. It is much bigger than it seems and literally everything you need is there. Recently, I have been turned off by rentals and find it easier, less expensive, and nicer to stay in a hotel. This is exactly how you expect a VRBO to be! You will not be disappointed. It is perfect.

This was a great property and larger than anticipated. It had nice amenities and everything we needed and more! The area was nice with restaurants, store and transpo nearby. We felt safe walking around. My only suggestion is to upgrade the mattresses and linens. I slept in the backroom and mattress was lopsided and uncomfortable. Overall would definitely book again!

This property is located among many charming residential buildings. Conveniently located near Metro, Metrobus and Bikeshare. A short walk from grocery and dining options. Our stay in DC was quite enjoyable in no small part due to this resting spot. One small issue was handled promptly while we were out enjoying the sites. Jonathon was our contact and you could not ask for a more efficient, friendly and accommodating property manager. This quiet little oasis was perfect for our exploration of DC!

Great price, good location, easy parking, attentive host, quiet neighborhood and neighbors (with nice coffee shop next door), comfy beds, and all the kitchen and bath supplies you'd need.

Jonathan is a really good host and helps whenever he can and needed.
A lot of supplies around that you can and may use. Apartment as described. Not a lot of sunlight, but that's not strange in a basement apartment 🙂
Location is great. Made good use of parking permit and the lots of Lime bikes that you can find all over Washington.

Right off the bat Jonathan was very friendly and informative. All expectations/instructions are clearly described. Many extra amenities and just really thoughtful extras. Great neighborhood with many grocery options nearby, quiet at night. We walked everywhere, but there are convenient bus and metro options. No issues with street parking.

Easy walking distance to metro, restaurants, grocery stores, and sights.

Property was just perfect for our needs during our week in DC. Easy walk to the convention center, but also to the National Mall and Metro stations.
The presence of a kitchen and washer/drier make packing lighter and helped saved money. The property was also stocked with some basic amenities that were appreciated. Easy to keep the place clean and very much met our needs.
We did enjoy the coffee shop down the block and the neighborhood was nice. We used street parking and never had problems, even with a large SUV.
Some things I saw other renters complain about were not an issue. You are facing a busy street in an urban area, but traffic noise wasn't disruptive, nor was I bothered by an occasional siren. The bedrooms are to the back & there are also fans available to run if needed for background noise. My older son slept in the living room and didn't complain. We even enjoyed the sounds of a school marching band practice a few evenings. Foot traffic above was on/off and didn't bother me any more than I've had in a hotel room.
I would happily stay here again.

My friend and I had a lovely stay. It was well stocked and homey, a really superbly arranged property, with lots of thought given to anything a visitor might need. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat!

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a great neighborhood and only about a 20 min walk from the White House and National Mall. Jonathan was great.

The location and home is perfect for a short stay in DC. We were close enough to enjoy all of the festivities of July 4 but far enough to not feel crowded. There is a grocery a few blocks away and the walk felt perfectly safe during the day and evening. The rail stations are the best transportation to and from, but be aware that bus service is sometimes inconsistent or difficult headed from points farther out. Otherwise it was absolutely perfect and we would book again without hesitation.

Very nice comfortable apartment. They truly made it a nice stay in DC.

Great location with comfortable bedrooms. Very small, but well-stocked kitchen. The apartment was very clean and neat with plenty of towels. There was some overhead noise but it was generally minimal. The water went cold at various times for showering, it was inconsistent. I wonder if the basement and upper apartment share a water heater?? I wish the manager/owner would have informed us ahead of time of the washer/dryer being broken. We were there for 8 days-- seems like enough time to have a repair completed.

The basement apt was great- the beds were very comfortable, plenty of clean linens were available. The owner responds quickly to messages and provides a number of "little" things that are so helpful (bottled water, already in the fridge; travel size shampoo, etc). It was very easy to find parking around the unit, which is a definite plus. Our almost 6 year old managed to walk to Dupont Circle for dinner and to ride the metro to the zoo, to give you an idea of how easy it is to get around by foot.

Jonathan was an exceptional host. Answered all our questions within mins of correspondence. One issue (not even anything that was immediate or interfered with our stay)and he responded promptly. Check in was one of the easiest to date with VRBO. I am an allergy sufferer and this place was very clean and no carpet. One of the things that drew me to this property. It was quite warm (June)but the basement apt was very cool. Before arrival I spoke of fans and there availability, when I got there Jonathan had 2 brand new fans at our disposal. This house also had the most supplies of any VRBO I have stayed at. He had bottled water in the fridge cold, as well as a filtered water pitcher, which came in handy for our water bottles. Numerous different types of coffee and creamer, toilet paper for our entire stay, extra personal hygiene products, wash machine and dryer supplies, and plenty of towels. It was very nice not to have to run to the grocer first thing. Parking, I highly recommend not to have a car. A parking pass is provided at no cost to u, but it is street parking, first come first serve. There is no parking in front of the apt. U have to use to the R or L of the apt, or one block behind the apt. We did have a car, we did find parking, but second day returned our rental car. There is adequate transportation within mins of the apt. I highly recommend the train, or the Circulator (bus). From the apt u can get anywhere with this transportation within mins. Jonathan has provided a welcome manual that explains how to get to all transportation, very easy, very helpful. I highly recommend the scooters too, they r on every corner, very fun.
There r to many restaurants to mention that r all in walking distance from the apt. Coffee shop right on the corner of apt, excellent pastries. The vicinity of the apt was great, walking in the evening after dinner, we all felt safe, no issues at all. So with all that being said, the only negative I have, is that it is a basement apt, so u do get the upper level noise. Not sure if the upper apt is with VRBO, tenants, or some other rental type, but it can and did get rather noisy and loud. I am early to bed, early to rise and two of the nites we stayed (weekend), we’re not good. We did not bring this to anyone’s attention as I felt it was not a matter that could be fixed. The description mention it’s a basement apt and pictures show the lower level doorway. Other than this I highly recommend Jonathan’s place.

Awesome property!
This property was exactly what we needed for our short stay in DC. It was a relatively short walk to the Metro and then just a few stops from the National Mall. There were extra touches such as plenty of cold water bottles in the fridge and extra toiletries if needed. The beds were also very comfortable.

Perfect base camp
Came to DC for an overnight team endurance ruck. Successful event and the basement apartment was the perfect location with local breweries and grocery stores nearby for necessary supplies.

Extra touches are so appreciated!
We arrived to a clean, well organized home. Extra touches including extra towels and pillows, snacks, water were there and available. Host even sent a note checking on us. Very accommodating! We so appreciated everything that was provided for us!

The Best Rental I've Ever Had
Not sure where to start. I have never had a better experience renting. The location is perfect, right next to everything D.C. has to offer. I spent a few months in the apartment and was able to walk everywhere from work, to the gym, to restaurants, bars, and the metro. The apartment is impeccable. Incredibly clean with new and functional furniture. The beds are perfect! The owner is an awesome awesome guy. Always just a quick phone call or text away. This really is the best option for anyone visiting D.C.
