My favorite place to stay in the area. We've been regulars for years now and it's great everytime. Quiet, Clean, beautiful views, and a great host.

Nice location. Could be tough for people with physical limits due to stairs and hills.

My wife and I spent a long weekend at this place and enjoyed every minute of it. We especially liked sitting by the fire along the shoreline. The host had a variety of watercraft available to take out. The views from the shore were very pretty.
It should be noted that there is no TV. It wasn't missed, but we were surprised at it's absence.

This was our third consecutive year staying here. It is so peaceful. There was a huge storm the first evening that knocked out the power for a day. We still had an amazing time. Bob compensated us one day which was super kind. We will be back in 2025.

We definitely enjoyed our stay on Seneca Lake. It was quiet and cozy, just what we needed for a relaxing get-away. The cottage was neat and exactly as shown in the photos; and the owner was very helpful and attentive. The local fireworks were a plus for celebrating the 4th!

This is a very nice place to stay. Owners are great. Didn't have any issues with anything at the property. Very cozy, quiet, wildlife, wifi is available, easy access, close to lots of vineyards, shade tree with lawn furniture and everything you need in the retreat. Was nice there wasn't a tv. You have a perfect view of the lake from the cozy couch. Lots of mirrors so getting ready was a breeze and quick. Definitely would love to stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cottage was perfect for two, very clean and comfortable. Check in was great and Bob was a wonderful host. We were looking for a quiet place to disconnect from the world and this was a great place to do just that. We hope to have the opportunity to stay again soon.

This place is in such a great location- tons of great wineries and breweries minutes away! And the views are absolutely amazing. The cabin itself was very no frills, bathroom is tiny and not sure more than 2 people would have been comfortable. But we had excellent weather so spent most of the time outside, and there's a grill which was a nice bonus.

Absolutely perfect spot for a quiet lake front getaway! Steps from shore, beautiful sunsets and view. Very clean & well maintained property. Will 100% book this place in the future! Perfectly located to restaurants & wineries on the East side of the lake.

We had a lovely time. The location is perfect - right on the water with kayaks, a row boat and a paddle boat to use. It's also close of tons of fun things to do in the fingerlakes. The host is very nice and check-in was easy.

We really enjoyed our Finger Lakes stay at this property. There are many great places to visit nearby and we were also able to get into Watkins Glen, Geneva, and over to Keuka Lake without much trouble. The waterfront aspect was the real winning element. We felt very private, we used the kayaks, and we built fires in the fire pit two of the nights. We did have a maintenance issue during our stay, but Bob came over immediately and made things right.

The cottage is a sweet little place, perfectly situated so anything you may want to do around the lake is only a short drive away. It was clean, had all the essentials, and Bob was only a text message away if we needed anything.

This place is simply awesome. Waking up each morning and having the water 20 feet was incredible. The cottage is perfect for 2! We will be back in 2023!

This property accommodated me and my husband well. Really enjoyed the fire ring and cooking outside on the grill, along with direct lake access. The owner Bob was great. We had a slight problem with the bathroom, but Bob was on it, correcting it immediately. Great location, and owner will take care of your needs, should anything arise.

We booked Bob's place very last minute. (We had to cancel another vacation due to illness)Our primary objective was to stay on the water. This place was perfect for that! You can look out of the bedroom or living room windows and there it is! Beautiful Seneca Lake! And we loved having access to the kayaks. Easy to put in and out of the water. We took them out multiple times a day, my favorite time being sunset. It was so peaceful and secluded. After kayaking at sunset, we came back and watched the glow set behind the hills in the Adirondack chairs while sipping some local bourbon. This was exactly what we needed to completely relax. The place itself is very basic, but, it provided what we needed. We needed a couple of extra items (an extra blanket and towel), but a quick text to Bob and he ran them down to us. The only drawback are the stairs. Others have mentioned them and they are for real, 42 of them. Most difficult was packing up to leave and taking everything up. Pace yourself. We would stop 2/3 of the way up and admire the view ;) Having said that, the stairs are very well maintained and safe. The location on Seneca Lake is awesome! Super close to several wineries and a great distillery, as well as a few restaurants (Stonecat and Elf in the Oak were our favs). And not too far from Watkins Glen as well. We were very pleased with our vacation and we were relaxed when we left. :)

My husband and I stayed at Bob’s cabin for 3 nights in July 2022 and had a great time. The place is tiny but has everything you need. The spot can’t be beat: take a few steps and you’ll swim in beautiful Seneca lake. We used the kayaks and paddle boat and spent many hours watching the incredible sunset and all we could hear were waves and birds! Could not have asked for a more beautiful and peaceful spot. The location is very close to many award-winning wineries, breweries and restaurants. We also drove to local farms and bought fresh vegetables to make dinner at home. There is a gas and coal grill in perfect working condition right outside the door. Bob was the perfect host, available for any questions when we needed him. We look forward to going back many more times!

Get away
Everything went good and as expected. It did feel a little less private than intended with the opener living at the top of the hill over your shoulder.

Amazing location!
This was such a wonderful stay! Super clean! Great location! Right along the Seneca wine trail. Couple welcomed us with a bottle of wine. Very peaceful and quiet. I’d highly recommend this cute little lake house!

5 nights in the finger lakes
Had such a great time staying here. Bob and Diana were great hosts. The cabin was perfect. Very clean and you can't beat how close it is to the lake. The water was clean and pretty warm. I do recommend wearing water shoes, lots of rocks/shells/weeds but that is to be expected. It was very quiet and relaxing on the lake. Having no TV or wifi was exactly what I wanted. Had downloaded an audio book and relaxed at night while watching a family of ducks swim. The property is in a great location and near so many breweries and vineyards. We made the quick drive to Penn Yan and had an amazing time and Once. Getting to sample wines from so many places in one spot was awesome and they had so many good ones. The Spotted Duck also had amazing ice cream and waffle cones. The property is also close to a newer business, Johnny's Kitchen. Had breakfast one morning and it was absolutely fantastic. Homemade sausage and fantastic cold brew. They also have really good soft serve ice cream. Thanks to Bob and Diana so much for a great end of summer vacation!

Amazing location, great trip
We had a wonderful vacation at this little cottage. It was simple and clean, and the location cannot be beat. We enjoyed local hikes and wineries, but the highlight of the trip was being able to sit out on the lake every day. The lake is rocky and had some very tall grass once you wade in a few feet, but that did not take away from being able to enjoy the water. We would love to stay here again.

A Slice of Heaven
We LOVED this property! Everything about it was perfect! We visited Watkins Glen State Park and a few breweries, which were awesome, but we spent the bulk of our long weekend just enjoying the place! We kayaked every day, used the paddle boat, swam and watched the sun set on the Adirondack chairs. Even had a family of ducks visit every day. Can’t recommend this highly enough…owners were helpful, welcoming and even had a bottle of wine for us. We will definitely come back….what a wonderful stay!!!

A little retreat
Beautiful spot right on the water. It was super clean, well furnished, and hosts even left a welcome bottle of wine! Super close to a large variety of wineries, breweries, and hiking trails. Can't wait to make a return visit in the future.

Relaxing and rejuvenating
The entire process from reservation to return home was a pleasure. We were greeted by the hosts and shown around the property. This was an extra special touch.
We relaxed, boated, and watched the sunset. One night we watched a lightning storm from inside. The experience and view were exactly what we needed. Thank you

Nice retreat
The property was the cleanest I have ever experienced, and the owners were very gracious. I did send two messages - only one of which got a response. But it was exactly as described and the owners left a gift a bottle of local wine in the fridge, which was appreciated.

Great Getaway

Great weekend away
The cottage was a perfect place for a relaxing long weekend. While small, the cottage is just right for a couple and provides everything needed. It is well equipped and literally steps from the water. We particularly enjoyed the availability of the peddle boat and kayaks. The location is great and provides easy access to get to wineries etc. on any of the lakes. We will certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Lovely little cottage
This was the perfect stay for us, close to hiking and right on the water. Not a lot of restaurants nearby, but found a brewery with good eats down the road.
The cottage was clean, quiet, and neighbors were very friendly.
Thank you!

Exactly what we were looking for!
We wanted a cottage on the lake and this didn't disappoint. The water is steps from the door! Listening to the waves at night was so soothing and the view in the morning was beautiful. The boats that came with the rental were a wonderful bonus. The cottage was exactly as described and extremely clean. It's the perfect place for two people to relax after visiting wineries and breweries. Also a very short drive to Watkins Glen for hiking. We throughly enjoyed our two-day stay!

Great place to just relax!
The cabin was very clean and airy, lots of light comes in from all the windows which face the lake. It is small but comfortable, exactly what we were looking for. I'm a tall guy, so my only issue is the small bathroom, but it was expected so not a knock. It is in a good location for day trips to Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and other attractions.

Unwinding at Seneca Lake
Another great visit! This is our third year coming up. Hosts are lovely, space is clean, bright, has a grill and various water craft, and directly on the lake. Can't get much better for a relaxing break. Hope to be back next year or sooner! Thank you!!
