Fantastic stay, wonderful access to Amsterdam while being calm, with a warm and attentive host

Lovely, warm room with a beautiful view of the countryside. Very easy to get into Amsterdam while feeling like a moment of true calm once you make your way from the bus stop to the b&b, and a lovely host!

It can be a little bit noisy from any movement in the building in morning and nights, but it’s not at all a big deal. Still lovely!

super Unterkunft

Die Anbindung in die Innenstadt von Amsterdam war super! In lediglich 15-20 Minuten befindet man sich mit dem Bus an der Central-Station in Amsterdam. Auch die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt und liebevoll eingerichtet. Der angrenzende Bauernhof eignet sich ebenfalls super für einen Aufenthalt mit Kindern. Die Küche ist gepflegt uns super ausgestattet:)

Amazing location with helpful and friendly hosts

The hosts at the property were extremely helpful, even before we arrived at the property. We were also pleasantly surprised at how nice the rooms were along with all the facilities we had access too such as kitchen and Netflix/YouTube on the TV. The nearest bus stop to get into the city is about a 10 minute walk and costs next to nothing to take the 10-15 minute into the city. Although it is next to the highway, the property is very quiet and peaceful which you sometimes want after a day spent in the city. It was also really nice being amongst the animals at the farm with sheep outside our window and cows all around us. Would definitely stay again.

Very pleasantly surprised

This is such a wonderful little find! The accommodation is beautiful, homely, well furnished and thought out. We were comfortable and had everything that we needed. The kitchen area was well equipped and welcoming and the setting is idyllic. We can't wait to return.

We didn't realise how rural this setting is (despite being close to the city) and got bitten by the insects as we didn't think about insect repellent.

30 minute bike ride to Ampsterdam, mainly as long a river or canal, Quirky furniture that looked lovely, Air conditioning, Helpful hosts, Very well equipped.

No garden to sit in but we knew that before booking.

The best place to stay in Amsterdam! Lovely and cozy room, very-very clean, fresh air, a breakfast from local products was amazing! Easy to get to the city center. Thank you very much, we will come back :)

Not for everyone. For people who need to stop for one night and don't care for anything else.

Quite cheap :). Great place if you are with a car, since the parking is free.

Placement far from town, close to the highway. In fact it's a country farm with farm animals and everything what's involved. The room was very cold when we came. It took few hours to warm it up.

Wonderful stay in the countryside

B&B owners were really friendly. The room was very clean. The breakfast offered was delicious. The hotel it is not in the city center, but city center can be easily reached by bus after a short walk. The location in the countryside is really nice.

Nice country side location, Good sized clean room and shared kitchen with all the facilities. Jan and Reiny were excellent and very accommodative of our needs and made our stay very enjoyable

Friendly place to stay and good value

Convenient location near bus links to Amsterdam. Hosts were very friendly and showed us around when we arrived and gave helpful advice. The rooms were spacious and clean and well appointed.

Cozy family farm house good for family & couple stay

Very cozy family house with nice deco & bed. With kettle & small cooker in each room. Have own bathroom for every rooms is good.

Please rent only if you have own car to the farm as the distance from bus stop is quite far, but its ok if you dont have big luggage. they do not provide washer & dryer as per stated in booking.com, they charge 5 euro per wash.

Its outside Amsterdam and very beautiful location. The room was very cozy and beautiful and had all the facilities. Host even offered mw to use the main kitchen if required. Host was very friendly and I really enjoyed my stay here. And I will definitely stay here again.

Less communication. I had to wait for sometime at the location because the phone number provided was not responding and their were no instructions by the host. I think it can be improved. Its also a bit far from bus stop, and if you don't have your own car and lot of luggage you have to walk for about 15 minutes. But its farm so its expected. Nothing to take away.

Excellent accommodation!

We loved the continental breakfast, the room was really comfortable and cosy, the hosts are really friendly and they allow you to see the cows, rabbits and chickens. If you want to visit north Amsterdam the location is perfect. It is not that far from the city either, by bus it takes around 10~15 minutes.

Unfortunately we had a noisy neighbour upstairs one day, so we could hear really heavy steps all night. But rather than that everything was perfect.

Superb

The accommodation is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam, easily accessible by bus from Central in 10 minutes, but expect a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Recommended for those who like a quiet, rural lifestyle and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. The family room is very spacious with a wonderful view of the animals, sheep and cows. The room is well equipped with a fridge, its own small dining area, cutlery, kettle, coffee maker. The bathroom is opposite the room. The beds are quite noisy, but comfortable. The farmhouse is next to a busy main road, but the noise is not disturbing and you can sleep in it. If you require breakfast, it will be prepared in advance in the room. It's very generous: yoghurt, cereals, pastries, bread, jams, ham, cheese and eggs. We requested breakfast for 1 day, but there was so much that we had enough for several days. :)

We arrived at the hotel in the evening. When we got off the bus, it was a bit scary and confusing that there were no signs, we had to find the accommodation on an unlit road. It might be worthwhile to at least put small solar lights on the road to the accommodation. Download the 9292 app to plan your route and get off at the Splitsing stop, it's a bit closer to the accommodation ( about 1 km walk ) The coffee maker is filtered and makes a rather watery coffee, but for those who like it, it should be fine. There were no paper towels or napkins in the room (we couldn't find any in the shared kitchen either). As it is a rural farm house, expect to smell animal odours... :)

the location was a bit far from the center and it requires a little bit of walking which might be hard with the luggage.

Great place to stay

Really good location to stay at with a family. The family room is a great size. The children liked seeing a Dutch farm. In only 10 minutes you can be in the city center by bus. Really good value.

A home away from home.

It was very rural even though it is only 10min by bus from the city center.

It is located at a busy street. But the windows drown out the noise nicely.

Loved it, would book again :)

It was so nice returning from the city to this property, because it was much calmer than the Amsterdam centre. The public transport is convenient, it takes just about 10 minutes by bus and you are in the city. Owners were really nice :)

It was a little loud at first, because it is located next to the main road and the cars pass by a lot. Also, you can hear other guests walking in their rooms. You also cannot use the Amsterdam public transport pass and you have to buy an extra ticket to get there.
