i am use to book rental house for years but this is the worst experience I have ever had

very very very quiet area

Kalina, our host, was very communicative and we had a smooth self check in prior the supposed check in time. However we were a little bit disappointed when we came in : beds were not made at all, there was stuff remaining in the dishwasher, the fridge was full and the house wasn’t clean (let’s pretend we have a higher expectation on cleanliness). it seems the owners left in a hurry… on the same day as we arrived Kalina and her husband have been called by the neighbors because of the noise we made in the garden, we tried to apologize and to explain that we have invited friends for dinner and that we are respectful and quiet persons. to have a dialog was already tough and we agreed to go inside to be sure to not bother the neighbors even if it was 6pm. the day after Kalina and his husband called me because they have noticed via CCTV that our local friend stayed over the night, we tried again to understand the matter and find a way to be sure everything’s alright for everybody but this time our host became very aggressive. they threaten us to send “friends” to kick us out of their house if we don’t leave the house in the same morning, without any reasons. so we had to call booking to help us out. everything calmed down after that until the end of our journey. they have now kept our deposit regarding the fact we invited friends in the house and we were more people allowed in the house for the first night. we are still figuring out with booking how to have our money back. please note that this rent is only meant for profit without any sharing spirit.
