Some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had in a rental. The bedrooms are very roomy, kitchen was well equipped. It was a warm and welcoming house. The proximity to the beach was fabulous and we really enjoyed the two swimming pools and bar at the beach. Communication with Sweetgrass management was quick and easy.

Great location w/in Wild Dunes and the proximity to the Grand Pavilion pool is great. Rooms were a good size and while the living / dining areas are a little tight, the space is fantastic.

We stayed at this home for my son’s wedding in Charleston. The time to get off the island and into Mt. Pleasant took a lot of time so it wasn’t the most convenient location if you had plans off the island. And parking was extremely tight. The house was nice. The bedroom were huge. Drawbacks are an extremely small family room with furniture that was extremely beat up and uncomfortable. The house sleeps 10 comfortably but the family room can only seat 5 and the kitchen 6. So with our family of 8, it made for eating in shifts and some folks sitting at the kitchen table to visit while the others were in the family room. If you spend most of your time at the beach then you won’t mind the this. Also there was no space in the cabinets for food. There was WAY too many glasses and such. I had to squeeze groceries in between all the dishes and pans. And two closets were stuffed with extra carpet squares and nightstands. Master bedroom needed a dresser too. Only had a tv armoire with two drawers for clothes besides the closet.

Very nice property. Wish it had an elevator but everything else was absolutely perfect. Our sons rehearsal dinner for his wedding was in the Croquet Lawn which was our back yard.

Our family stayed at this property for our daughter's wedding and it was super convenient. The location is perfect and is in the middle of the Wild Dune's property. The place was very clean although the decor and furniture was a bit dated. There were nice beach chairs left at the property for us to use. Bedrooms were huge.

Great for families
This property was great for our family vacation with adult children and the grands. Convenient to the beach and plenty of space for afternoon naps. We loved it so much we booked again for next year!

Wonderful After Christmas Trip With Family!
Isle of Palms is a great location for day trips to Charleston and Beaufort. The 4 bedroom beach house (with 4 bathrooms!) was perfect for our family's after Christmas getaway. Will definitely book it again for our next vacation in the area.

Great for multi-generational family vacation
The property is clean, roomy and convenient. Comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen and room to spread out. Only thing that needs addressing is garbage disposal not working and slow-running drains in kitchen and baths. Overall great stay.

Summer Vacation
The house was perfect. It was short walk from the beach, pool and golf course. Due to an earlier review we brought fans but never used them, the air conditioning was sufficient. I would definitely recommend this house.

Family Vacation
Our family had a great vacation and this property more than met our needs. If any questions or issues arose, Chrystal, our contact person quickly answered or fixed the issue. Nothing major. Her follow up made a difference so we could enjoy our family and the area.

Good
The house was nicely decorated, the kitchen well-stocked, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the location was great- very close to the beach, pools, and Boardwalk Inn. The only complaint would be working the televisions. Nobody in our group could figure out the two remote system on any of the TVs in the house. I would recommend just getting a universal remote for all to make it easier for guests (that is what we have done in our VRBO rental)

Spacious bedrooms and Great location, 4-Star if the maintenance items are fixed
Very nice location for the home. I can imagine the Grand Pavilion would be bustling in the summer months. The team at Sweetgrass was very responsive to several requests that we had; including a service call as well as a guiding us to a workout facility. The home itself has good space, especially in the bedrooms which are all large and very accommodating. There are a couple of minor maintenance issues that could use some attention. When we arrived, the wi-fi was not working, turns out the router was not connected properly. Then the garbage disposal froze up, the service tech encountered a screw in the disposal. The dishwasher was also not secured properly to the counter, causing it to move when we opened the dishwasher door.

It would have been nice to know that the air in the top floor bedroom was not working. The window unit cooled the room but was incredibly loud. The window unit did not cool the bathroom so the “soaking tub” and “walk in shower” you advertise were great if you like an 80 degree room. Also it's weird that on the top floor balcony which has a view of the ocean has no chairs to sit on. There is also no chair in the room or for that matter any bedrooms so you have to just sit on the bed. Had there been a chair in the bedroom I may have put it on the balcony and enjoyed the view. Although the window unit would have been screaming in my ear. The place felt like it's just finishing up a redo but not quite done yet with furnishings. Also I went to store beach chairs and outdoor stuff in the double door outside closet and it had a bunch of trash and construction material. Just didn't look professional. It was too much money for the lack of detail. IMO. Thanks.

We had a great week!
This house was spacious, clean and well-furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to stay in and cook all our meals (since Covid 19 is still spiking, we only went to one restaurant in Charleston). It is convenient to the beach and the pools. All interactions with the Sweetgrass staff have been friendly and helpful.
Suggestions: we are still waiting to hear if the clothing is e left in the closet has been found;
Also would suggest that the vegetable peeler be replaced-it is VERY dull;
Someone should look into the dishwasher function-it doesn't clean thoroughly sometimes
Overall, we would definitely choose this property again someday!

Not what we expected.
Definitely too small for us...9 adults. The photos are deceiving as they make it look bigger - the common area. The balcony was really small & up against the next house. The upstairs bedroom had a window unit that was very loud. The bedrooms still get warm at night even with thermostat on 67. None of the amenities were available which was so sad. No pool, weight room or tennis courts. We will not use again. A lot of money to spend with no amenities.

Great getaway
The property was ok and met our needs. We tried to contact the property manager via VRBO a few days before our arrival to confirm kitchen items such as coffee maker and blender and never received a response. The 3rd floor master was always warm and very difficult to cool down with the window unit. The window unit had to run ALL DAY and NIGHT to keep it somewhat cool and it was loud. We had some issues with our toilets and it took 2 days for the property manager to resolve the issue. Overall it was an ok stay. It was a close walk to the beach and the outdoor shower was very helpful.

Good
Amazing location! All interaction with staff was very helpful! I didn't give an excellent rating because the property is in desperate need of some TLC! Draperies, bathroom hardware, doors have been removed and no holes filled. There are even old nails in the walls still. Just some cheap quick fixes that could make the property much more enjoyable.

Great location but house needs some TLC
Enjoyed our stay at our beachfront rental. Upon arriving at the house we had trouble accessing the lock box but was able to open it after a few tries. During our first evening we noticed that 2 windows (Living Room and Master Bedroom) we’re wide open and we had some difficulty closing them (had to move a dresser in the bedroom to be able to get to the window). Also, the faucet in the kitchen dripped constantly. Also, the lights in the downstairs bathroom flickered off and on when you turned them on (this could be a hazard). There also were latches missing from some of the shutters thereby keeping them from being closed. Because the house was right on the beach it was extremely relaxing to just sit on the porch and watch the ocean and people on the beach.

This particular house needs some TLC!
Holes in walls, mold in shower of master suite that is a total hot box, cooled by a small window unit. On two occasions we got stuck on the balcony secondary to a broken door. The dishwasher doesn’t work and the lower floor toilet runs all night... the floors and carpeting need to be replaced. The lights in the parking area do not work so you have to rely on your phone light to find the door and tap in the code. overall this house was a huge disappointment, the only redeeming quality is the easy walk to the beach

Great
Stayed for a girls weekend. There was plenty of space. The beach was a short 2 minute walk. Well kept grounds. The house could use some maintenance - patch small holes in the walls, paint touch up, fixture updating, etc. Very comfortable beds. Appropriate bath towels and toilet paper. Bring what you need as far as salt pepper coffee filters olive oil, etc. need larger pots and pans for cooking. Good communication from rental company.

Great location - Needs some touch up
We had a great time in Isle of Palms during Spring Break. The location inside the community is very close to the shops, restaurants, pool, and the beach. The house itself needs some work. It severally needs the walls patched and painted. You can see where window treatments and artwork were removed. The exterior doors were rusted and hard to close while the interior bedroom doors didn't lock. The balconies are a little shaky so we decided to not use them. We all decided that the owner was probably in transition to get the house ready for summer rental and had not painted and done maintenance yet. The price was ok for Charleston this time of year however I would have been really upset to pay the summer price with the house in the condition it was.
