Warme kleren voorzien!

Loved the location and room. Food was great. Fireplace in our room and hot water bottles were a nice touch. Our turn down service was excellent thank you.
The main thing was the awkward check out when it came to tipping - we are well travelled, hard working people - the manager insisted on us tipping each individual staff member a specific amount which was difficult - it all became very uncomfortable and her demeanour changed instantly.

We stumbled upon this hotel when the one that I booked was unacceptable. The staff was so warm and welcoming even we were not guests yet. It is a high end affordable luxury hotel. All meals are amazing. The rooms are extremely comfortable with fire places and warm bladders. They give you a foot massage when you come back from hikes. The location is easy to find, right off the main road near the Dian fossey/ellen museum-which is worth a stop. Do not hesitate to book here.

Terrible...
I don't understand why this lodge has good reviews. Maybe from people who don't know Rwanda. That's not how it works... they texted me endlessly. Then they wanted to on March 9th. know when I'm coming, they wanted to make the room comfortable, etc. The fireplace in my room was not made with wood but with coal and since it was an open place, that doesn't work and is dangerous. They didn't have internet either, everything seemed unprofessional. I left after an hour and paid the entire price. That does not work like this.

Very friendly staff, good location, fireplace in the room
Although it was cold, doors and windows were open all the time. Because of this, the places in the lodges were heated with a charcole device, that was unhealthy and not very sustainable.

The fire in the room's fireplace each evening was wonderful and cozy. And enjoying a cappuccino while looking out at amazing mountain views was lovely.

Everything about this place was excellent. We stayed for one night but arrived quite early so had 2 lunches, dinner and breakfast around a planned trip to see Golden Monkeys in the National Park.
The bungalow style accommodation was wonderful - huge, very private and set in its own garden and with a powerful shower. Staff set up a fire and hot water bottles during dinner service to ward off cold winter nights - we felt very pampered!
Food and service uniformly excellent, from cheerful front desk staff to attentive waiter and bar staff, and a personal welcome from the hotel manager. It was lovely to be looked after so well. The grounds were very nice and we took a short walk out of the lodge which was also interesting and nice.
Nothing at all - one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in

Staff super friendly. Complimentary foot massage and shoe clean was very much appreciated after a day of hiking. Would stay again

The staff is wonderful. The location with view on the volcanoes is great. We didn't come for the gorilla trekking, but we heard that the location is perfect as the hotel is near to the park entry. Gloria helped us find a tour guide to visit the Twin Lakes. We very much appreciated her support.
During our last night, a dance and music group performed for us around a camp fire, it was amazing. The bungalow had 100% privacy and even included a fireplace. It was very cozy and we would come back to this hotel.
Nothing particularly. I think the carpets in the room could be cleaned better, but overall it was very clean. The WiFi did not always work. The style of the hotel is at times a bit dated, but it did not bother us.

We spent 2 nights at Ingagi Park View Lodge and really enjoyed our stay. The location of the lodge is great, not only because it’s close to the national park but also the newly opened Dian Fossey Foundation (which is well worth a visit) is only about a 10 minutes walk away.
The lodge has a wonderful, large garden, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the complex is overall in top condition.
The staff is friendly and helpful.
Special thanks to the Hotel Manager Patrick and the F&B Manager John, who really care about the well being of their guests and who are always available to talk

This was probably the best stay we had all vacation. The people who work here are polite and very friendly, food is nice and the service is incredible.
After the long hike they welcomed us with open arms and made a fire for us in the room. Just like they do every night when it gets cold. They also insisted on cleaning our hiking shoes and washing our hiking clothes. It was an experience to never forget!
We even had a few Kinyarwanda lessons during dinner and we loved it.
Murakoze chane for having us!!

We had a fantastic time at Ingagi Park View Lodge. The rooms are huge, spotless, comfy, have kettles, a fridge, and everything we needed. The food at every meal was absolutely delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options. The main thatched lounge and bar area, built over two floors, is stunningly designed with plenty of space for different groups to either mix or sit separately, and stunning views of the volcanoes when the cloud clears. The gardens are full of flowers and gorgeous little birds. And the staff make the place so special - we had a number of changes to names, dates, etc and they accommodated all our requests, organised permits, transport, etc graciously and efficiently. They even cleaned our disgustingly muddy shoes and socks after each day's hiking! And made fires in the room, put hot water bottles in the bed...utter luxury. It was my birthday while there and the chef made me a wonderful cake! The lodge is brilliantly located, near the Park entrance and only a few mins walk from the fabulous new Dian Fossey Fund research centre, built by Ellen de Generes, which is worth spending several hours at (and also has an excellent cafe). If I am ever able to return to see the incredible mountain gorillas in their stunning forest home, I will stay here again for sure. A huge thank you to Patrick, Herbert, Grace, Priscilla, John, Sauveur and all the rest for making our stay so very enjoyable!

The staff at Ingagi are wonderful: attentive, friendly, and accommodating. They kitchen paid attention to our dietary needs and provided custom meals for us. Our private room was massive, detached, en-suite, and set in beautiful gardens - each night, the staff lit the fire for us. The location for access to the national park for trekking and so on is perfect.
The only very slight issue is that the wifi only covers the main restaurant and lounge areas, and not the rooms. As we found typical across Rwanda, there will be a slight discrepancy between what you pay at the venue vs. what booking.com says it will cost.

Everything! the vibe ,the design and the cleanliness of the place but most importantly the PEOPLE - I must say that their wonderful and kind spirit made our stay. i need to highlight in particular “Ms. Grace” she was so professional and so patient with us , i cant tell you how much my wife loved that girl.

Exceptional lodge right at the entrance of the Volcanoes National Park for the gorilla and golden monkeys trekking. Everything was perfect, from the super helpful staff to the quiet and relaxing room and gardens, to the delicious food (the home made soups are a must!). Being the first experience in Rwanda, they made everything feel so smooth. They also organised transportation (Gato is the best driver and company one could ever have, he knows about everything!) and can also provide great tours and trips to the mountains, including the once in a lifetime gorilla experience or the golden monkeys. Definitely recommend this gem in one of the most beautiful places on Earth!

A beautiful lodge and grounds. The bungalow was great tucked in beautiful gardens on the grounds. You could even bird watch from the grounds. Quiet, calm and peaceful environment.
Mr. Bosco was great driver to and from Kigali, professional, courteous and safe, thank you.
A selection of meals prepared by the great chefs. Thank you.
And a final thank you to all of the staff at the lodge. They were the ones that made the stay so wonderful. Mr. Herbert, Ms Priscilla, Mr. Alexis, Mr. Vincent, and to all the staff at the lodge.....Assisted with transportation and activities at the National Park. You are the best! I will always remember your kindness and true Rwanda hospitality. Wish you health and all the best, always. Thank you.
Wish I could have stayed longer.......
