– Sauna
– Fitness Equipment
– Heated, Indoor, Ground Level Ski Lockers
– Laundry facilities
– Trails for Skiing, Hiking, & Biking ~ 150 Meters
– Restaurants, shops, events & activities ~ 150 Meters
– Free city bus nearby ~ 200 Meters
Location:
Ski Time Square is right at the base of the Steamboat Ski Resort base, and everything is walkable. The edge of the ski slopes is only about 150 meters from the building. With ski lockers at the entrance, heading out for a few runs or coming home for lunch is super easy. Want to head out for some Apres Ski drinks and food? You'll have lots of great restaurants to choose from. Enjoy all the activities, events, shops and dining options of the base area when you stay here. If you want to hit the supermarkets or check out downtown Steamboat, the free city bus picks up about 200 meters from the building, and can get you pretty much anywhere in town. If you are headed outside of town for a snowmobile tour, sleigh ride dinner, or a dip in the Strawberry Park Hot Springs? Those companies have shuttles that will pick you up and drop you back off. No need to worry about parking or driving in winter conditions. When you stay here, the location makes having a car unnecessary.
Arrival, Accessibility, and Parking:
Once you book, we're here to support you. We will provide you with arrival instructions and answer any specific questions you might have. Accessing this property does require stairs. Accessing this property does require stairs. From the most convenient parking or drop off points, a half a flight of stairs up or down is required. There is also a half a flight of stairs between the entrance and the elevator. Once you are inside this condo, the main level includes the living room, dining room, kitchen, one of the two bathrooms, and one of the Queen bedrooms. The condo has vaulted ceilings in the living room that are 20+ feet high. Stairs lead to the upper level where you'll find the second bedroom, second bathroom, and the loft area with 2 Twins. On site outdoor parking is available at this condo complex. The parking is an outdoor lot with approximately 60 spaces for 80 condos. This limited amount of parking means that parking spaces may be available but can not be guaranteed. With the exception of the busiest times of winter and summer (from late December through March and late June to early August), the parking lot is unlikely to fill up . However, if every condo is occupied, and every condo has 1-2 cars, there will not be enough parking for everyone. So, we recommend carpooling as much as possible in any season, and strongly recommend it in busier seasons. Please note, you may not want or may not need a car, particularly in ski season. You can easily walk throughout the base area, and there are free buses picking up and dropping off within a couple hundred meters of the building. These free buses can get you around town and are frequent. There are also private shuttles available, when you head out of town to the hot springs, to snowmobile tours, to guest ranches, etc. For guests visiting in the spring, summer, and fall, who might want to be able to drive to remote trailheads, state parks, national forest, or wilderness areas, or just want or need to have a car onsite, here is some additional information regarding your options. If you arrive and the parking lot is full, you can still pull up to the building, unload bags, groceries, etc, and then go park off-site. Street parking is allowed along Ski Time Square Drive. However, please note that Ski Time Square is a popular place to try to park, since it provides such easy access to the ski slopes as well as restaurants, activities, and other attractions. So, the city has limited street parking to 2 hours. There are also two paid parking structures within walking distance, at the intersection of Ski Time Square Drive and Mt. Werner Circle. The walk to those two lots is about 5 mintues, and the walk is virtually flat, so it's pretty easy. During ski season 2023/2024, The rate for parking at those lots was $50 per day, and we expect the rate for ski season 2024/2025 to be at or perhaps slightly above $50/day. Free parking may be available in other areas of town, free buses as well as taxis provide you with options to get to and from these alternative offsite parking options. Please contact us with any questions about off site parking options. All that said, during the busier parts of ski season, we recommend that guests of this development choose to carpool or don't rent a car at all.

We want this review to help future guests of Ski Time Square 503. The location is very good, not ski in/out, but about 100 yard walk to/from bunny slope. The rate tends to be less than nearby properties. Comm's with MVL prop. mgmt. is competent and professional - very important to us. Check-in/out is a pain, pure and simple. There is no good, close place to load/unload stuff. The single lane road to the dumpster on the right side tends to be a cluster, and is a stressful situation. Tip: the loading zone at Torian Plum is generally open, and is worth the few extra steps. The elevator closest to 503 on the left/west side has been broken all season. Thus a lot of extra walking along the length of the building is needed to avoid taking the 5 flights of stairs to/from the unit. Overnight Parking: Ski Time Square's parking garage was condemned by the city 10/2022, so no parking for the entire complex. They've arranged for free off-site parking as detailed in the description. Steamboat Square parking garage is closest option - about a 5 minute walk. In sum, if the discounted rate is worth these inconveniences, then go for it. We enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for a fun annual guy's ski trip. We've traveled around the country over the years and were excited to explore Steamboat - a first for several of us.
The condo is in a great location, save for the lack of parking. You can easily walk to the slopes and the bus to town similarly picks up a block away. The bus ride is about 15 minutes into town, so if you're looking for an in-town vibe, look elsewhere.
The unit itself was functionally satisfying. However, top to bottom, the unit needed updating. I called to provide more comprehensive feedback after our stay, but the couple standouts were:
a) The elevator on the west end of the building was arguably unsafe. It clearly hadn't been maintain and would not reliably go to the fifth floor. We didn't use it for fear of getting stuck in it.
b) The handrail to the top floor of the unit wobbled significantly. If you really needed to use it to support your weight, I'd worry that it would break.
We had a wonderful time, but the photos look much more updated than you'll find upon arrival.
All that said, the price was right. :)
4.4
Good space for the price. Practical, functional, decent layout, and clean. That said, it was a little dreary, poor lighting, could really use a thorough refresh.
The elevator on our side of the building didn't go to the 5th floor. Sometimes it didn't work at all. It was a bit of a hike on the outdoor catwalk to get to the working elevator.
A couple of chairs were broken. We needed 5 chairs so had to use the one that could still support a person. We put the other one back in the corner.
The bedrooms were adequately sized, mattresses in good condition. The kitchen was well equipped - surprisingly usable knives for a condo, plenty of pots and pans, dishwasher worked well.
The property is a short walk from the lifts and base area restaurants and shopping but it is not ski on/off in any sense. I recommend Torian Sports if you're renting. They let us store our skis overnight so we didn't have to drag them back and forth to the condo. Nice folks working there too.
We didn't rent a car for this trip and we really didn't need one. Shuttle service was good and ride shares were easy to get. Only exception was at the airport itself (airport to the condo) but they warned us about that.
4.4
A bit worn, two broken chairs but the price was right. We had 5 people max on one of the 7 days and four during the balance so it wasn't a problem. But really would be tough to accomodate 8 people. Walk out but not really ski in. Parking was extra. Still there was value as the location was good and we enjoyed our stay.
4.4
Comfortable place. Easy access to the Village. Great views.
4.4
This is in a nice location, close to the slopes - great for skiing or mountain biking. The unit is a bit dated and could use some updating but it served our needs fine. Also know that the parking is a bit far and there are a some steps before you even get to the elevator so that makes it kind of tough to carry everything in.

My cousins and I had a great stay at this awesome slopeside condo. The condo was stocked with everything we needed for an easy weekend getaway. We loved how convenient it was to get to the gondola in the morning and the views from our oversized windows were top notch! Would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay here, it’s a 3 min walk to the lifts which was great. The condo itself was nice, spacious and was nice to have a jacuzzi. A few areas of improvement; when we got to the condo the check in process is very confusing and the arrival instructions are out of date. It would be nice to have an updated instruction sheet because there is no parking now, so most of the directions weren’t even relevant. We followed instructions on where to temporarily park to unload and got yelled at. I think it should be a little more clear on the VRBO post that there is no parking and nowhere close to the building to unload. Also that there is no free overnight parking in steamboat. Second, when we got to the condo the balcony door was wide open so the place was freezing cold, and a majority of the dishes were dirty. There was also no extra trash bags or dishwasher soap, so we had to do all the dishes by hand. Lastly, my interactions with the manager were weird, she asked a lot of questions about our group and how old we were, and how many couples vs singles there were which I thought was strange. It was just a lot of in depth questions that I’ve never been asked about when renting from VRBO.
Overall, the condo was great for how cheap it was. I just wish there was an updated arrival instruction sheet, that would have made our arrival go much more smoothly.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was perfect for hitting the slopes, and the ski locker and hot tub were great features!
We didn't have the check-in information before we arrived, but the office sent it over once I called.

The price and location were great! Able to walk to the Wondergrass Festival. Parking was tricky at first but good once we figured out the garage. Would have preferred ability to drop off luggage at the entrance. Hard to get it all from the garage to the condo. Had to walk to the lifts but not far. Great condo with perfect view!

Very nice location, great view of the slopes. 200 yard or so walk from the lift and rental shops. Have to travel a few miles for food (most restaurants close at 5-6, obviously nothing the owner of this can control) The hot tubs are right across from the room, so that’s convenient. I do not believe they have the inside hot tubs anymore, or Atleast we could not find them. Over all a very nice place to stay.

4 of us stayed here over New Years and had a great time. The condo is a quick easy walk to the slopes. Short walk to the hot tubs which are 1 flight of stairs down. The elevator is a little small but never had any issues waiting even during the busy holiday. The kitchen has most items you'd require but nothing too fancy.

Not exactly what I expected
The place was OKAY. Definitely older and not as nice as the pictures look. First off, when we arrived I expected an instruction guide as I was told I would get, and that was not there. We had no wifi, check-out, or place instructions. They made me call multiple different people to find out what the wifi was. It was not very clean and there was a used towel in one of the bathrooms. With covid, this made things very uncomfortable and we almost found a new place to stay. There was no paper towels and no AC. HORRIBLE for the summer time and the HUGE windows that beat in sun. The loft was VERY hard to sleep in as the parking lot lights beam in at night and the sun wakes you up at 6am. Not horrible, not great, wouldn’t stay again.

Ski Time Square #503
This is a wonderful property at Steamboat Resort. So convenient for skiers/boarders. Excellent accommodations. Amazing panoramic view out front from balcony.
Had difficulty getting television to work. Called maintenance staff (Joe). He quickly came to the rescue and remedied the problem! Gave him feedback that there is a need for written information for renters covering things like television, trash disposal etc.

This location was great for our family of 5. Plenty of room to roam around and close to restaurants, ski rentals, bus, and ski/mountain. Views from the condo were beautiful. Hot tubs were nice, but there is no pool for anyone who is wondering.
They have a few work out machines and a sauna as well. We also used the laundry room. We just brought a suitcase filled with our belongings to help transfer and laundry detergent. It definitely helped with not having to pack so much.
The only thing that I would suggest, is to have more than one television. Limited channels, but there is a DVD player. We were out most of the time, but kids sometimes needed a little veg out time at night. Also, it would be helpful if there was a place to keep luggage from time of check out until flight. We found a nearby hotel to keep our luggage for us.

Great location!
We enjoy our stay in the condo. The location was so close we could take a short walk, put on our skis, and ski down to the Christie Express or the gondola. The condo was very clean and had an amazing view of Steamboat resort. This was our first time skiing in steamboat without calling a shuttle or taking the Free Bus to ski and it was WORTH it!! We would stay there again.

Great location. Great view.
Located across the street from the base of the mountain. Was very nice to be so close after boarding. Had a great view of the mountain. Would stay there again. A+

Parking was close but lots of stairs were involved. Property was well maintained.
Townhouse was wonderful. Loft ceilings have open spacial feel. Kitchen was well stocked and we cooked many meals there. Spa was close and enjoyable. Great place to stay with family.

Great place to stay!
Very nice, like a home away from home! Centrally located! With views you would never believe till you see them.

Great location and nice place to stay
Overall we would definitely stay here again.
PROS:
Nice view from balcony
Convenient to slopes and ski rental
Clean and bathrooms are updated
Covered parking
Housecleaning responded quickly when we requested addtl towels
Locker on 1st floor to hold ski gear
CONS:
Comfortably accommodates 6 (8 is a stretch)
Elevator in bldg but there are quite a few steps from garage to bldg, esp when you’re loaded down with bags.
No shades on upper portion of floor to ceiling windows so unit gets warm and very bright for anyone sleeping in loft.
Washer/dryer and trash area not very conveniently located.
Overall good value for the price and we would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival the unit had not been cleaned (last cleaning was 5/26/17--we arrived 6/18!). Trash and beds still in disorder. Contacted "management" told it would be taken care of. After 3 hours of "cleaning" we still had dirty dishes to contend with, the rugs needed a vacuum but the linens were changed! There was a missing towel rack in the downstairs bathroom, along with bulbs out. The fridge would not properly adjust temperature, it either froze our fresh produce or left everything barely cool. With high cathedral ceilings, there were no curtains for the upper windows, so at 6AM my grandkids were awakened by the light streaming in. The window next to the entryway had a security LED light outside of it, and it shown in directly to the downstairs bedroom. A curtain or some kind of covering for this window would be appropriate. The entire facility is NOT disability compliant. My wife has been having issues with her back and it was difficult to climb many stairs to reach the elevator. One cannot get to the elevator without using stairs--disability? Access to the underground garage (dank & dark--again many stairs) was on note paper in the unit, but you had to access the unit first. Kind of backwards? We didn't use it because of the extra stairs. The maintenance staff was very friendly and the views were great, but with the other issues we will not be back. It looked like a great place to spend our vacation, but we were disappointed in the accommodations.
