My family was visiting from Cal and Florida. What a beautiful home for them to spend the weekend. They weather was perfect and the home was comfortable and spacious. They enjoyed sitting on the deck and in the backyard and it is a short walk to the beach. Everyone had fun. They did not want to leave.

My son’s wedding was held at Saybrook Point so we rented this house for our family to stay for the weekend. We had my two grandsons with us, a 5 year old and an infant. This house was perfect for us. It was 2 minutes to the wedding venue. So clean. Well stocked kitchen. Plenty of room for all of us to get ready for the wedding!

This location and space was perfect for our group of friends that came into the town for a wedding at the north cove yacht club. Plenty of space for everyone to relax and get ready for a great weekend. We wished the weather was a bit nicer so we could have enjoyed the beach and walk around the neighborhood. So close to the water!! Only downside was 4 car minimum in the driveway and we had 6cars. We left 2 cars in town with public parking. Other than that, I highly recommend and if I’m back this way I’ll definitely look for this property again.

We stayed at this house for a family wedding taking place at Old Saybrook Inn. It was a great location for us and the house was everything we were looking for. Plenty of grip discs and plenty of privacy for each member of the family. We wished the weather was a little nicer so we could have enjoyed the outdoor space more but we're more than comfortable hanging out inside.

Our family (6 adults & 2 kids) had the best ever time at this beautiful, spacious & extremely well equipped home. We live in New Haven, but wanted to be near Essex where our daughter's wedding was being held; just a 15 minute ride away. I booked it for 4 nights so we didn't need to drive back & forth from home for all of the wedding weekend festivities.
The minute you drive into the neighborhood, you know you're in a special place but as you drive up to the house, your jaw drops. The grounds & exterior are immaculately maintained.
The interior is huge, w/ very nice & comfortable furnishings. Each bedroom has its own tv & access to its own bathroom, w/ 2 of them having their own ensuite. We appreciated the ample # of towels provided & the comfortable beds and pillows.
There is a tower room where we could read or just veg with a lovely view of the water. There was easy access to comfortable outside spaces- a roof top deck & large back patio w/ umbrellaed table seating for 10+ people. We didn't use it, but there was also a gas grill available to cook outside.
The 1st floor open floor plan (living room, dining area, kitchen) was huge; our 2 grandchildren (31/2 & 14 months) could play within site of the adults.
We hosted a family brunch on Sunday after the wedding. Our new in-laws are chefs, who were very impressed by the extraordinarily well equip kitchen.
When we called Rose with questions, she replied quickly w/ answers. We couldn't have been happier with our stay.

We had a wedding at the Old Saybrook Inn and this was a perfect rental home and location. Rose was terrific with communications. The only thing to note is that there are many streets named the same with drive, road, lane, and vista, be sure to put the right address in your GPS.

Close to the Coast Guard Academy. Beach was beautiful. House was perfect. Lots of room and views of the water from the balcony was lovely.

The location for this rental was a perfect meeting point for 6 former URI gals to meet up, as we were coming from surrounding states. The house was large, updated, clean and well stocked. We enjoyed both the roof deck and sun room for catching up. Would go back again!!

Amazing place
Definitely wish we would have stayed longer! The property is incredible and in a great location. We were very caught up in wedding things but this was the perfect place to come relax in between and either order food or use the amazing kitchen and some friends even walked to the beach. Great spaces and fun NE coastal accents. Hopefully I can go back to Connecticut soon will definitely want to be in this great house. Rose was always quick to help us out with a million questions and I appreciate this place!

Great Location and Relaxation
This property is in a great location! Right across from great ocean views especially when there is 70 degree weather in mid-May. Due to the warm weather, Rose was extremely helpful in getting the company to remotely change the heat to A/C throughout the house! I understand the rental agreement is thorough for some, but this is in a beautiful area of CT and a beautiful and clean house. My only small criticism of the house would be to invest in a Weber grill :) I think from wear and tear, the current grill has seen better days, as we had a slow cook time with the burners for our burgers one night. Nothing that constitutes less stars though!

Wonderful Holiday stay!
Stayed at this property with family for the Thanksgiving holiday. Spacious, well decorated home with a great kitchen, lots of prep space. two full size ovens and lots of cookware. Also a great ocean view deck and lovely back yard, both furnished with plenty of seating. Not even a block from the Long Island Sound, a bit further to the sandy beach. We had 4 families, some with children, sleeping and bath arrangements were more than suitable, with the addition of one air mattress. Rose was a pleasure to work with and left us a lovely bottle of wine on our arrival. Definitely recommend this property!

Great Beach House
The house was a block from the water. It was very spacious and comfortable for a moms weekend away. Downside was the kitchen was lacking in basic cooking supplies and booking/rental management was very particular. You also had to sign an additional rental agreement to reserve the house completely.

Wonderful weekend 😁
Some friends and family got together for my sisters bachelorette weekend, and we LOVED this house! Perfect location and an easy walk to the beach, spacious second floor deck with water views, and huge kitchen space. Lots of sleeping space and four full bathrooms were key! The checkin process and communication for the house was very easy. Wonderful time! Would visit again!

Location as advertised but property shows wear.
Stayed here for a 3 day weekend with family including 5 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby. Property is spacious but hasn’t been kept up. Only bare essentials pots, pans, etc. were provided for cooking. Dishwasher worked but door was broken and made a lot of noise. Lawn was torn up for reseeding which was not mentioned, meaning our toddlers had no where to run. Cleanup rules were a but excessive given cleaning fee. For the price they are charging the property needs some reinvestment and some small extras such as olive oil for cooking would be nice.

Wonderful area

to shopping areas and restaurants. A really nice walking

The house had great space for the family and the patio was perfect for breakfast , lunch and dinner! The neighborhood was great for walking and so close to the water. We were disappointed with Fenwick beach but found a public beach close by called Harvey’s Beach! Old Saybrook is a winner in our book!

Family comfortable VRBO
We were in Old Saybrook for our son’s wedding. The groom got the master suite upstairs and he really felt special. We had our sister and brother in law and our other son and daughter in law. We got the rest of our family to stop by just to see this house. They have done a remarkable job with this property. It is well laid out and the lawn and neighborhood is very upscale. I highly recommend it

Beautiful weekend getaway
A group of friends and I traveled to Old Saybrook for a wedding and really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful and large, plenty of space for our group of friends. The backyard patio and roof deck is gorgeous and great for enjoying the view of the water behind the house. The owner is easy to communicate with and check-in was a breeze. Definitely recommend!

Great Place to Stay for Saybrook Point Wedding
Beautiful house, was great for a place to crash for a nearby wedding at the Saybrook Point Inn. One caveat was there was quite a few terms and conditions prior to getting the house.

Beautiful home - a lot of rules
I stayed at this property along with other bridesmaids for a wedding at Saybrook Point. With that being said, we were mainly sleeping there. The property was beautiful, but everyone was a little stressed out with all the rules that came along with it. Aside from this, the only negative part of the stay was that the A/C was still turned on, and the thermostat was locked so that we could not put the heat on. With it being mid-October, the nights were quite chilly and the temperature in the house was in the low 60s which was not very comfortable.

A beautiful home in a lovely location
Rented this home for a weekend to attend a family wedding nearby. We had 10 family members and was spacious enough for all of us. 4 bathrooms with 4 showers so we could all get ready in our own areas with no one fighting for bathroom time. Was only able to spend a short time exploring the area but was able to take a nice 5 mile run along the water one of the mornings. Views of water from kitchen and upper deck were nice. House was clean upon arrival. Was able to sit on upper deck and enjoy the water views one of the evenings.

Nice home in a great location but to many rules to follow
We thought the house beautiful in a great location. Very comfortable and well stocked in the kitchen. The property manager Rose was attentive when we needed to contact her. The only reason for the three stars was due to the number of rules that needed be followed while staying there. There was a book on the island that listed 20+ items that needed to be followed. This deterred a bit from the rental. We rented VRBO's in the past and had not experienced that.
