Unit was nice even though one of the bedrooms was not cleaned when we arrived.

Great condo!
6.0
We’ve stayed at Collin’s Lake condos a few times, and the location can’t be beat, but this particular condo needs a big refresh. Things were shoved in closets, remotes didn’t work, general slight state of disrepair.
8.0
The condo was super close to the pool and hot tub and in walking distance to town. There was plenty of room for the 6 in our party and had everything we needed.

This was a nice condo, but be prepared for stairs as soon as you open the door (to the main floor) and then another set of stairs to get to the bedrooms. Parking is tough if you have a big vehicle - we couldn't get in the garage and the spaces on the property are mostly compact. Also could use a good dusting.

We liked the condo. It was fine for the short time we were there. There were dirty socks found under the couch and candy and the bedding didn't feel very clean. The towels had stains on them but all in all it was sufficient.

Condo was comfortable and well equipped. Lots of beds and room for family. Seemed to have all we needed. Price was reasonable.

We loved staying at this condo, the pool was amazing and had everything we needed. 10/5 stars!

Family Vacation
The Collins Lake Resort is a nice place to stay. Our Townhome was roomy and nice decor but when we arrived the stairs from the front door up to the kitchen were very dirty, the living room carpet needs a good shampooing, my husband had to fix the thermostat so the fan would blow the colder air from downstairs to the upstairs, I had to clean several large plates in the cupboard that had food all over them, the lamp in the queen bedroom is about ready to fall over and there is no barbecue on the deck (pretty much the only deck in the whole resort without a bbq, kind of disappointing). I have never had to write a review about any Vacassa home we’ve stayed in before…this is a first. But I’m sad to say that no Vacassa representative responded to my email about these complaints that I sent the 2nd day of our vacation. The townhome definitely needs a little extra TLC for it to be a really good experience for the next clientele. Thank you - Michelle Snyder

Convenient condo in Government Camp
This 2 bedroom condo was well appointed and excellently located to access the many nearby hiking trails. Although it would have been nice during this heat wave to have air conditioning, the condo stayed cool enough with the fans that we brought with us. We took advantage of the on-site pool and thoroughly enjoyed the on campus hiking trail around lake Collins.

Comfortable but needs updating
This is not a place that I would go during a warm summer day as there was no air conditioning in this unit. I'm sure during the winter it is very nice the downfall is upstairs was completely broken and it was like sleeping on a slope the smaller beds are great for kids not for adults so this made it difficult for my handicap father I never got a call about the bed other than maintenance saying it needed to be replaced no compensation the TVs upstairs are pointless they don't work and there is no cable which is also pretty frustrating. It is a nice quiet location close to everything.

Happy with our stay here.
This home was comfy and well appointed. Plenty of extra towels and everything you would need to begin your stay there, small toiletries, dish and laundry soap. Beds were very comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed, except I couldn't find a can opener. We would definitely stay here again.
One thing to be noted is that there are friends of the owner who have keys to enter the condo. Around 9:30pm we heard the door being jiggled and my husband met a man and a woman at the door trying to get in to retrieve some gear that had been left in the garage. The owner of the home had told them they could come pickup what they left. I'm sure the owners did not know that the home was occupied or maybe we would have been notified that people would be showing up. We probably surprised them as much as they surprised us, it was just a little scary to have people trying to enter the condo with our family inside without our knowing they were coming.

Good basic value
Alpenglow condo 67 is a good basic accommodation. I’ve been in other condos at Collins Lake Resort with better overall amenities such as kitchen supplies and cable access (no instructions), but 67 did provide the basics. Overall good location, free parking, good location in Government Camp and easy access to Ski Bowl and Mt Hood Meadows.

Government Camp Condo
My family and I stayed here during our ski trip to Mt. Hood. Convenient to ski resorts and Sno Parks. Condo was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for 4. Kitchen was not particularly well supplied with cooking utensils- might want to bring your own knives if planning on any cooking more advanced than buttering toast.

Honestly fantastic residence in the Government Camp area. All of my qualms with the stay are very minor and nit-picky. The Good: Short walk into downtown government camp. Also about a 15-20 minute walk to Skibowl if you're not interested in driving there. Very nice interior with comfortable furniture. short walk to a free sledding hill that is on the backside of the complex. The condo has a big book of everything to do in the area for all seasons. More spacious than the pictures show. Washer/ dryer. Hangout spot in the garage. The "bad": I wouldn't recommend more than 6 for the stay. We went with 7 so it was slightly cramped. 2 of the beds are bunk beds which I wouldn't recommend for anyone larger than a child. one of the beds is a pullout from under another in the loft area which makes the sleeping pretty tight. The kitchen was probably the biggest issue. It would be great if it was stocked with a few more pots, pans and baking sheets of larger size. A pair of scissors would've been nice. Cooking for 7 was a little rough as we pretty much had to take turns eating because we could only cook so much at a time. The kitchen faucet handle kept falling off which was annoying to constantly fix. If you sleep in the loft area (no door) you can pretty much hear everything downstairs. Unless you have two smaller cars you're not getting both in the garage (but there is parking around the complex).Like I said all of the "bad" was pretty minor and overall it was a great condo in a fantastic location especially for the price. I would definitely stay again but maybe next time with one less person.

Wonderful place to stay!
This was a perfect location for skiing. Beautiful, clean condo with everything we needed

Great location, easy check in, great value and well appointed condo
Cozy and well appointed, great location and great value, but it was a little less clean than we were comfortable with; the carpets were only spot vacuumed and especially dirty behind the beds, the countertop had crumbs, a couple wrappers on the floor like maybe the maid was eating and cleaning? Who knows, but the dishwasher fell apart when we opened it and had to fix it, the fireplace barely lit even with troubleshooting of the gas line, the WiFi stopped working halfway thru our trip, and some of the dishes were somewhat dirty. Normally not a deal breaker, but with it being the 2nd year of a deadly pandemic it really bothered us and I ended up wiping all surfaces down with disinfecting wipes before I let the family get too comfortable. I booked thru Vacasa and when the Wifi went down there was no way to contact anyone about troubleshooting the issue. Their help section only said to reset the router, but we couldn’t even be sure we found one. There was a white electronic box hardwired to the wall that we assumed might be the router, but no button to push to reset it and because it was hardwired no way to unplug and restart it. So we went without WiFi for half the trip and my teens had homework to do and required Zoom meetings. It was a scramble to use my phone’s data for everything. I’ve rented many condos throughout the world and in my experience there’s a number to call for these issues. That would be really helpful if the owner would leave such a number in the condo. Also when we checked out 10 minutes to checkout time (at 10 AM), we couldn’t get the key lockbox to open to put the key back in so I was forced to set the key on the inside step and only lock the regular lock and not the deadbolt. Otherwise, it was lovely. Thank you.

Nice, but some issues
First of all, the home worked well for our family, which included 2 of our grandsons. We cooked most of our meals in the well stocked kitchen and enjoyed the pleasant dining area. We skied every day at Meadows, which is a short drive away. The conditions were perfect for the kids to take lessons. We enjoyed a wonderful meal at the very close Mt Hood Brewing.
A minor issue was that there is a limited amount of hot water available for showers. We had to limit time and have the boys bathe at night. The biggest issue was the lack of wi-fi. We had plans for streaming Disney movies for the boys, but after arrival, we couldn’t find the wi-fi ID listed that was in our house information. We called the help line and were told that someone would be coming out right away to fix the problem. No one came, so we called the next day and was told that there was a problem ticket already made and that someone would be there that afternoon to fix it. No one came, so we called again the next day, and was told that no one was coming and it couldn’t be fixed for our stay. We were also told that we would receive some compensation for the loss of a promised amenity. We did get a small credit. There was extremely poor communication.

Can't beat location. Town is great. The condo is next to the pool/hot tub. Clean and beautiful. Will stay again for sure.

Great location
Enjoyed the stay here except for the small hot water heater, it would not provide for 4 adults to shower, so be aware and space out your showers.

Great location
Well situated location to the shops in town and the amenities where nice. The condo unit itself could have a bigger hot water heater since with 4 people we tended to run out of hot water. I also liked the fact we had a garage for the car. We had a great time skiing and snowshoeing.

Great location and nice townhouse feel
This was a perfect spot for my family (with two boys 4 and 7) to make homebase while we explored the mountain snow activity. The house was clean, warm, well equipped. The kit hen had all the essentials. I would give it a 4.5 if I could. We had an issue with a light and a window. When I called about it they sent someone out pretty quickly to fix things. The only other issue is that the master king bed spread smelled smoky. We put it away and then left out at the end for laundry services, let management know, and used other available blankets instead.

Great location, but low quality
Poor quality for the price!
Poor insulation, so noisy
King bed slopes so you slide down
Toilet in master runs after every flush
Broken smoke detector in master
Coffee maker junky
Bedding poor material
Great location for access to the mountain and all activities but for the price I expect a higher quality

Cute condo!
Pros: Fit 8 of us perfectly. A little bit bigger than I initially expected. Forgot to us the hot tub! Would stay again. Con: too expensive for one night stay.

Super convenient & comfy accommodations in Govy
The property was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. Nice separate bedrooms, easily slept many, great garage for tuning skis and storing bikes, etc. The pool was a nice amenity. Only very small suggestion is to check light bulbs (we replaced a few) and remove random items out of closets so guest have more storage. Great stay !! Lovely condo.
10.0
Great location, comfortable and clean, range of beds to choose from and plenty of towels for the pool and hot tub. The only snag was the WiFi was not working or else we were given the wrong instructions as the condo didn’t show up on the WiFi list
