Rooms with the balcony
Didn’t not like anything but we had room 102 and the wall hid a lot of the view.

The location was great

Location
Where do I start??
The lift was extremely slow and due to the hotel being poorly maintained, I was instantly hit with what felt like a heat wave! Dirt in the lift and halls were full of dust.
Bed? Stated a king - It was nowhere near that!! It was a double bed. Pretty sure lying about rooms has to be against some sort of policy. The bathroom was full of insects and the balcony had cigarette ashes left all over the seats.
Went to go speak to staff on numerous occasions however, they were nowhere to be found as if they weren't there to serve anyone.
Contacted them finally and said I could get a 7% discount on my next stay in the reason for lying about the room and a very scary poor experience. I will be reaching further down the line as this is completely unacceptable.

Noise outside taxis until early hours then lorries offloading

Location was good, good prices and comfortable
Noises from outside but not much can be done about that

Excellent location for city centre
Very small room. Wouldn’t stay here for more than one night. Also used local car park which hotel said if they validated our car park ticket we would get at a reduced price of £6 instead of £20. Unfortunately, we had our ticket validated and it still cost us £20!

Did not have any breakfast but location wise, very good location to commute any where.
Entertainment, i.e. TV channels

Very central location and I presume room would be nicer in summer as we could have utilised the balcony.
No breakfast facilities, advised to go to a cafe downstairs. I am disabled, it was quite a trek to and from the identified car park with our suitcases. The bedding did not appear clean upon arrival, the shower tray was blocked and the bathroom had a funny smell once unblocked - presumably the drains? I would have liked to be warned reception is on the top floor too

The location is great, the room was a fair size and clean with tea coffee ect.
Iron, hairdryer in the room
Pleasant staff
They don't serve food at weekends, the room we booked with you wasn't available, we were told we had an upgrade but we wanted a balcony, the room we got had no balcony
The 1st key to the room we were given wasn't vacant, we walked in on another couple which was really embarrassing for us and them.
Our room was cold, no heating in the room and the quilt was very thin , normally you find extra sheets ect but there wasn't any, the bed was comfy but the pillows were like thick cushions and really uncomfortable..

The size of the room was good , nice location
The room is very dusty, the toilet is very very dirty, the bathroom walls had moulds.
They need professional cleaners.

Only thing I liked that it was in town
Not worth the money bed was broke bathroom was dirty and just wasn’t clean to my standard and we stayed in the executive room so I wonder what a standard room looks like 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️ but because we got there so late that was the only room left

Nothing
Where do I start?
- not clean - clumps of dust in the shower
- mould
- rooms smelt of smoke (had to move from the first because it was so bad)
- lift felt unsafe, why no obvious option for stairs?
- pillows rock hard and bed uncomfortable

Location was great, lovely terraced area off our room, public area was clean and nice
Bed was comfy however it was a double mattress on a kingsize base. Wooden floor was very dusty and not clean shower tray had the cleaners shoe footprints in after cleaning. Had to ask for tea and coffee as not restocked.

I stay here on a regular, normally without a problem. This time around I stayed in a room a wasn’t familiar with. Was a little cold even tho a portable heater had been supplied and the shower/ bath was stuck on hot.

As soon as we checked in around 21/00 the room was so cold we had to ring reception, the receptionist didn’t hesitate and brought us a portable heater, which was louder than a car engine no exaggeration, it had got to the point where we had to sleep in our own jumpers and hoodies!
We gave the room a little look around and the pictures will say for yourself!
We told the guy after how we was disappointed he said he will give us 25% off and a free upgrade if I don’t post this review but ill never ever go back there again! It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed in my whole life! The pillows was dirty from the inside , there was blood on the walls?!
We just checked the fridge too there was something in there too!

Heating only blew out warm air
Noisy as contractors dismantling big wheel through the night outside

It's in good location
the heater and the lighting is working at the same time which caused us to sleep. We need heater at night but when we turn it on, the light will also on. It's weird

I travelled 3 hours and was told at 10:10pm that rooms get cancelled automatically at 10pm so I had to find an alternative place to stay.
Luckily the was a room at the Marriott.

Location
It’s not a four star. It’s wrongly advertised. Air conditioning wasn’t working and room was stuffy. Reached there at 6pm only to have a comfortable sleep. But could not sleep due to heat.
7.0
The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was also very large with a good view of the square, with several pubs, restaurants, fast food places and the cinema all within 5 mins of the hotel.
The layout was a bit weird with the reception located on the top floor. Also though the room was great, some of the amenities didn't work properly like the phone and the aircon
7.0
Very good location
Photos were misleading, however room was comfortable and clean if not as big as it would appear in the photos. Website provides a breakfast menu but there is no catering within the hotel.
4.0
Nothing.
Room never got cleaned, no one on reception in morning to give VAT receipt, pay for room with view and got a brick wall 7ft high
9.0
Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Rooms are big and comfy, amenities provided too.
Its around city centre that can access to other places conveniently.
Too much lint flying around, had no idea why.
