Arrived to check in was told there was no reservation for us !
Place is dirty staff are rude !
Asked the staff to call us a taxi to the station he replied no we don’t do that I asked for a taxi number and he said no I don’t have one so we were left wondering around trying to flag a taxi down
Avoid the place
Not exaggerating when I say worst place I’ve stayed in
The staff are useless
Imagine arriving saying there is no booking here for you !
Totally clueless
And refused to call me a cab

The room is superb. It exceeds my expectation at an affordable price and a super convenient location (to me). It has everthing I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back if needed.

it looked okay from the house
It was horrendous.
First of all there’s no lift so my mum had to walk
up two flights of stairs. To add to that the carpets on
the stairs looked like they haven’t been cleaned in ages.
Going up the room there was such a foul smell of mould from somewhere.
The beds were uncomfortable they kept moving. The
bedrooms weren’t clean at all . Had hair on the floor
dirt everywhere.
overall just disgusting not worth £153 at all !
I’ve slept in a 2 star hotel which should actually be 4 stars!
never again worst experience everything terrible.

All OK
They let me book in at 11am on the Saturday that I arrived
It would have been nice to have a TV or Radio in my room

Very friendly staff and convenient location
It was so hot but that was down to the weather

Close to the city centre and the size and layout of the family room were the only things that I would give as positive, although reception staff was welcoming and friendly (but I would expect that)
The hotel didn't provide the advertised facilities (WiFi, breakfast, bar).
The room wasn't particularly clean (although not filthy!), facilities were limited (tea in the room but no coffee, 2 plastic flask mugs) but the main issue is that the hotel is used for housing those in need of council emergency accommodation, which during our stay meant banging and shouting literally all night keeping kids and adults awake; reception promised to deal with it on request but didn't change anything. We are really easy to please and accepting of many issues (who gets it right every time?) but I would advise against staying here. I will never return, terrible experience I'm afraid and I'm not even sure this should be allowed to operate as a hotel!!

all was good

It was green and clean room. Liked the leafy balcony and loved the quiet environment.
There was some weird smell in bathroom, definitely improved with opening window but couldn’t fully eliminate it.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, polite and helpful. The room was spacious and although the decor was tired and outdated, everything was very clean. The bed was comfortable. There was ample parking. Good location. Great wifi speed.
The property is in much need of updating and refurbishing. However, I understand this is in progress. When refurbishing, it would be helpful to make some additions like a bed side light and a bigger shower cubicle.

Great location, good parking facilities
Poor room quality, needs redecorating, curtains didn’t close properly, hallways smelt like cooking

Never stay here again it is not a hotel by any means. I got bitten very badly and got told i was a liar. They have no concept of customer service whatsoever and should be ashamed to call themselves a hotel. The worst place i have ever stayed in in my 40 years of travel. I was visiting my son at university and i will never be staying here again.
Poor customer service poor standards and poor facilities

I was upgraded to a family for no extra cost as they were quiet. The location was perfect walking distance for De Montfort Hall which I was going to for a concert.
The couple in the next room were shouting at one another from 11.30pm just after I got back to long into the early hours so i wasn't able to sleep for along time. Luckily the didn't speak English so I don't what they were arguing about.

The car park and hotel entrance
First room very small for 2 mould on the ceilings shower screen fell off door handles not screwed on, moved rooms a little bit bigger bathroom light pull cord not fastened to ceiling electrical cables holding it in place reported it to reception accused us of pulling it down ourselves the shower was a mixer tap shower head fastened a foot above the tap OK if you're washing your knees when turning the tap on the water would shoot out and hit the other end of the bath and toilet it would of made a great b-day to wash your butt one of the worst hotels I've stayed in we paid £240 for 4 nights stayed 3 what a dump avoid this place you will regret it we did
