This place was great. Loved the architecture and the patio views. We spent most of our time there! The beach accessories were also so helpful and increased our enjoyment at the beach. Great value!

My family had a wonderful stay at Casa Riviera. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood and close to downtown State Street, the pier, East Beach, the Funk Zone, golfing, and pretty much anything you'd like to do in Santa Barbara. The home is beautifully done and very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were great with comfortable beds and high quality linens and having so many bathrooms ensured my entire family could all get ready at the same time for a night on the town after a fun day at the beach. Connie, the property manager, was very nice and incredibly responsive, and the property owners, Jennifer and Jorg, were a delight to work with. We had a couple of issues that were responded to and addressed immediately. Overall an excellent stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this property in the near future. One last note - the owners are doing some landscaping on the lower grounds of the property and while it wasn't completed during our stay, I imagine when finished it will make the home even more spectacular than it already is.

This is a quality property, a most unique house built around a huge old oak tree. From many windows it feels like being in a tree house. Many steps everywhere which was fine for us but would be difficult for people who can't use stairs easily. I can recommend without hesitation.

Great find!
Beautiful home with a brand new feel. Home provides plenty of space, is well appointed and gives everyone space of their own when not in the large living room and kitchen area. Well located within walking distance of Mission Santa Barbara, several parks and downtown State Street. Located in a very quiet area with incredible views. A great place to stay to get the full Santa Barbara feel.

Without hesitation, this Santa Barbara experience will be well remembered. Although our stay was for two weeks, our family of four left feeling like it wasn't long enough.
The home is located within easy walking distance to amazing parks (great for our kids) and strolling. Another block and you're at the famed State Street and downtown core with coffee, restaurants, and shopping. Head out the house in another direction and find yourself at the Mission and Rose Garden. The slight hill one must walk to reach the home affords you an incredible view of the city....close enough to make out details on the white plaster walls and red tile roofs but high enough to see the Pacific and sailboats.
The authentic, Spanish-styled house oozes with charm, detail, and warmth. The massive oak tree that entangles itself through arched stairways and plaster walls makes the home feel like it's always been there. The rooms are perfect, beds comfortable, and views of garden and full of light. Bathrooms, laundry, kitchen....all well equipped and in great working order. Although we enjoyed restaurants, we also found ourselves using the kitchen often, sitting on the adjacent deck sipping wine and enjoying the view.
We can't wait to return next year for another stay at this home in Santa Barbara.

Unbelievably charming Villa at Santa Barbara's Riviera, walk to downtown
Casa Riviera must be one of the most endearing properties in all of Santa Barbara: genuine French/Italian Riviera architecture, charm, and location — yet you can get there without a transatlantic flight …
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring what this place has to offer, including apparently all-new/refurbished interior and exterior; more superbly equipped bedroom-suites than we would have ever needed for our family of six; delightful panoramic city and ocean views from everywhere inside the house and its tasteful verandas and balconies; air conditioning (quite uncommon in residences in the area); garage space for much more than our two SUVs; and — for us particularly delightful — comfortable walking distance to Santa Barbara’s famous “State Street,” with its countless boutiques, restaurants, theaters, and a myriad of other shopping opportunities. We simply left our vehicles in the garage and explored everything on foot.
We could not get enough of admiring how delightfully this beautiful chalet is nestled under a century-old oak tree, skillfully “bonsai'd" with view corridors for an optimal confluence of views, shade, and shear natural beauty.
Needless to say we were sad to leave!

Come see for yourself and enjoy!
Our stay in Santa Barbara was truly delightful and memorable. We can’t wait to return to this one- of- a- kind, unique, charming house within walking distance from the center of Santa Barbara.
This beautiful Riviera district house is nestled under oak trees with ample views from various rooms and balconies onto the town. There is a view corridor all the way to the ocean, yet one is far away from the hustle and bustle of town, and still close enough to the main shopping street.
Each room of the house is tastefully furnished and exceptionally beautifully decorated. There are numerous small balconies with views to the ocean or lush trees of the surrounding area.
The house offers peace and quietude in its magnificent, natural setting. The interior invites with its practical, distinguished, beautifully contemporary style.
The kitchen is fully equipped with every appliance and utensil you might need for your daily meals or to entertain your special guests.
The charm and uplifting, inspiring atmosphere of the house makes it hard to leave. You might feel tempted to skip some outings to the town of Santa Barbara and instead fully enjoy the ambiance this Riviera house offers. Each room is unique and a piece of art of a special kind. The architect used natural materials and included the awesome natural surrounding in this most creative design of a house. We have seldom experienced such beauty and creativity in a created living space.
Come see for yourself and enjoy!
