About this cottage rental

1200 sq ft cottage located in the historic railroad district 1/2 block to downtown and a five minute walk to the festival with easy access to shopping and groceries. Park your car and leave it. Easy walking everywhere. This is one of three residences on the property of which two are occupied by owners. We offer a private parking lot right outside your cottage door. The cottage has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath with double sink. One bedroom has king bed, 2nd bedroom has two twin beds. Kitchen is fully equipped. Washer/Dryer, wireless internet, and 2 tv’s With local channels and Roku streaming.
Outside area is a beautiful large private courtyard with comfortable seating, a propane fire-pit, a propane barbecue and a private hot tub spa just for your use. There is a fence that separates the owners residence and provides privacy for guests. Private off street parking with easy access to back entrance of cottage. Electric outlet in guest parking area. Free EV charging station in City of Ashland public parking lot one block away.

Stacy’s cottage was just lovely, and so well located. Kitchen well equipped. Little gas fireplace so nice on cool nights. She even provided us with cushions to take to the theater.

We really enjoyed staying at Stacy's 2nd Street Cottage. It was close to the plays, grocery shopping, the center of town, and the main road to the freeway. The cottage had everything we needed including a lovely area for outside eating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stacy’s cottage. Stacy is a wonderful host and her place is in the perfect location for exploring Ashland. We walked easily to restaurants, Lithia park, shops, etc.

We chose this home because of the location to downtown and being able to walk everywhere. It didn't disappoint. Stacy was great to work with, the cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub is newer and was great. Stacy lives upstairs but we rarely heard her or the other neighbors even though its close quarters on all sides. We recommend Stacy's cottage especially if you like be within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, Ashland is such a great foodie town.

Directions and check in were easy. The property is within walking distance of many Ashland shops, restaurants and activities. The cottage is very spacious for two people, with two bedrooms, living area, and bathroom. There are also washer and dryer, and well equipped kitchen. There's a fire pit and hot tub in the backyard patio. We enjoyed our brief visit to the Ashland area and hope to return again in the future.

We've stayed at Stacy's several times over the past decade and it's one of our favorite places to stay in Ashland. Comfortable, clean, spacious and all the amenities one can want. We like that the master bedroom has a king bed. We don't always use the hot-tub but we like that it's there if we want. The location is perfect -> two blocks from the Co-op, two blocks from some of our favorite restaurants and only a couple blocks further to the plaza, OSF, Lithia park, etc.

Great accommodations - just the right size for our family of 4. Perfect location for wandering around downtown and seeing plays. We really enjoyed the outdoor space, the hot tub, fountain, and quiet area. The seat pads and umbrellas for the Elizabethan Theater were a very nice touch, especially since it was the first rainy day of the year!

We all really enjoyed our stay at the cottage because it had everything that we needed and wanted. In addition to being close to town, it was charming and well maintained. We especially loved the courtyard for for relaxing and entertaining.

Stacy’s cottage is perfectly located to drive in, park and enjoy downtown Ashland, the OSF theaters and local restaurants. My mom, sister and I really enjoyed the hot tub in the cool mornings and the AC in the hot (and unfortunately smoky due to the Rum Creek Fire) afternoons. We made use of the well appointed kitchen for several meals and also got takeout from several conveniently located restaurants. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was at night and how the floorboards never creaked! Stacy’s instructions were easy to understand, and she was extremely responsive during our stay. She even had cushions and blankets to borrow for the outdoor theater, if needed. We hope to stay here again!

We so enjoyed our stay! The apartment is so well-appointed- you’ve literally thought of everything! We particularly appreciated the cushions provided for the outdoor theatre seats and the gorgeous courtyard at the apartment. We spent our mornings and late afternoons chatting out there under the shade umbrella smelling the jasmine flowers. Thanks for a wonderfully welcoming space.

Such a lovely spot

We loved the garden and hot tub for hanging out or sitting and reading a book. The beds were comfy, the rooms were spacious. The kitchen was small but very well stocked. The house has air conditioning, although we hardly used it. I walk with a cane, but still could walk to the Shakespeare plays, we were just a 15 min (at my slow pace) away. The house was quiet. I enjoyed my stay very much!

Stacy's cottage was everything we were wanting and more. The outdoor sitting area was beautiful and spacious. the cottage itself had lots of room and was clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely ideal being only one block from downtown. We were able to walk to shopping, coffee shops, restaurants and the park. I will definitely be going back and I could not recommend this charming cottage and our wonderful host, Stacy enough.

Stacy was a terrific host. The house was immaculate, the beds terrific (firm, new, no sagging, excellent sheets and bedding) with plenty of pillow types to choose from; plenty of good towels (handy if you use the new hot tub. We aren’t hot-tub people but we all enjoyed it!). She took care of our every need, and over two weeks, that says a lot. From trail guiding, in theory and practice), theatre, rain gear, gifts, food shopping, library, kitchen extras for cooks like us (olive oil, balsamic vinegar, soya sauce, tea bags) she seemed to have thought of everything. Seating is plentiful and comfortable with a new sofa about to be delivered). There are some charming touches. The outdoor space is lovely, private, and sunny, with comfortable seating. The location was terrific. Everything is in walking distance: shops, theatre, food coop, restaurants, bakery, library, and the most glorious trails for hiking! We loved our stay. I was the only one not taking the timber framing so Stacy made sure I got out on the trails every day! You couldn’t have a better host. I can’t wait to go back!

Stacy has created a very comfortable environment that is inviting. The kitchen is well-equipped--the dining table was great for our family with the extra leaf and the living room area was very comfortable as were the beds. The gas fireplace kept the place cozy (there is also a regular heater). It was great to have the hot tub and the private backyard area. The location is perfect, easy access to all things Ashland! Stacy was readily available to answer questions. We highly recommend this excellent place and hope to go there again.

Stacy was an absolutely amazing host, and the cottage is adorable, cozy and perfectly stocked with anything you would want. We can't wait to go back for a longer stay. It is very private and quiet, with parking right by the cottage, very comfortable beds, lovely fireplace and very clean. We didn't have to do anything for check-out and Stacy even offered to drive us to the airport, but we did not need that. Thank Stacy for a perfect stay !!

Sweet 2 bedroom house with hardwood floors, lots of light and beautiful trees all around. It had everything you would want: nice bedding, soft towels and the kitchen was set up for comfortable dining. The yard was a great relaxing spot and the hot tub was enjoyed. You can easily walk to restaurants as well as the Shakespeare theater (the host thoughtfully provides pillows for it which was much obliged because it was a chilly night, and we were protected from the cold seats). I would highly recommend!

My husband and I loved Stacy's cottage so much we added an extra night to our stay. The furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Our favorite was the courtyard area and we took advantage of the hot tub and fire pit a few times. Just a block and a half and you're in downtown Ashland with it's theatres, shops and restaurants. If we ever get back to Ashland, I would definitely rebook Stacy's cottage.
