This is a newer cabin, less than a mile from the famed Bass Harbor Lighthouse. We enjoyed it thoroughly! The cabin was cute, spacious enough for two, had up to date features, and felt very relaxing at the end of our days of hiking in Acadia. Do not expect big breakfast choices, but what they had was fine for being on the go. We would stay again if we have the opportunity!!

We wanted for nothing. Anything that you could think of that you needed was available in the cabin when we arrived. I don't think we could have had a more comfortable stay. We were in walking distance of the Light House which was a godsend because there were long lines to get into the parking lot and parking was limited to 15 minutes.

Loved our stay at Lighthouse Cabins Maine - the hosts are friendly and knowledgeable about things to see and do in the area and how to navigate some of the more crowded spots. Comfortable and clean cabin, easy access to hiking, National Park, Bar Harbor. We would absolutely stay again.

Beautiful cabin, everything shiny, clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. I brought food for me and my dog and so appreciated how well appointed the kitchen was: fridge, microwave(with air fry option), electric kettle, toaster, Keurig for coffee, dishes, utensils, and more. Great wifi, hot shower and your own dedicated parking spot. Aaron was the best host I have ever experienced! He is knowledgeable about everything Acadia! Also, Continental breakfast availabe in the office at 7:30 am. Pastry, cereal, banana, milk, juice and more! You deserve 10 stars! Thank you for a PERFECT 2 night stay!

These cabins are absolutely unbelievable! Perfectly maintained, incredibly charming, spacious, comfortable, truly one-of-a-kind. I can say with confidence I have never stayed in a cabin like this before, not to mention it is in an incredibly beautiful area and extremely convenient to Acadia Park and a number of other restaurants and natural attractions. I absolute intend to stay with Lighthouse Cabins Maine again in the future.

Loved the lighthouse cabins, they were so cute and comfortable, just what we needed for our stay at Acadia. We love the quieter side of the park. Our host was very kind and informative, gave us a lot of suggestions that we took him up on! Wonderful time at the park.

What an adorable and quaint little cabin! It has everything you could need and is in the perfect location, close to many nature trails and Acadia National Park. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable, giving great tips on where to go and not go on the island. The common area is a nice touch as well. Will definitely be coming back the next time we are in Maine.

I loved everything about this property! I wish I could have stayed longer. The cabins are absolutely pristine, beautiful, and filled with every comfort you could possibly imagine. The craftsmanship and the decoration of the cabin were lovely. There is even a "commons" area with free guest laundry, games to borrow, vending machines, etc. The "quiet side" of the island is so nice and the setting of these cabins is so pleasant....Bass Harbor Head Light, Ship Harbor Trailhead, Wonderland Trail, and all kinds of spots to sit and watch the gorgeous sunsets were all close by. Continental breakfast was included. The proprietor was a friendly source of information about things to do in the area and even got on his computer to show us details of how to find a hidden gem and drew a map for us on how to get to another recommended hike. If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely stay here again. It was our favorite stay of the whole trip.

Absolutely adorable (and very reasonable) cabin with a wonderful kitchenette and eating area along with a comfortable bed and spacious bathroom. Parking was right next to cabin in a great area of Acadia if you want to stay on the quieter side of Acadia but be near attractions like the lighthouse and some nice trails. It felt like you were in the woods. Spotted 10 point buck out the kitchen window the first morning.
A lovely couple runs the cabins and lives on premises. They have a small building with a table, games, snacks and a free washer and dryer that was much appreciated after being away for two weeks.
We have already recommended to friends and will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic property and gracious host. So glad we stayed here instead of in the fray of Bar Harbor (and it's still very easy to get to BH). Cabins are new, large, well-appointed and comfy. Great food 5 min walk away in Bass Harbor at Seafood Ketch. Easy access to Acadia Mountain hike. We'll be back, for sure.

Absolutely adorable cabins with modern comforts of kitchenette and dining table along with rocking chair. Saw an eight point buck out the window while having coffee in the morning. Great little place with a great price and close to a lot of things to do. A sweet couple owns and runs the cabins and will gladly meet your needs.

When we arrived at the lighthouse cabins main, we were greeted cheerfully and made to feel very welcome. The cabins are about a year old, very comfortable, and very cute! Everything we would need was right there. The kitchen, dining area and bedroom were out very good size and the bathroom was extremely large. We absolutely would go back When we’re in this area again. Absolutely amazing adorable little cabin. We have stayed in five star hotels all over the country and our teenager says this was his favorite. For us it was the friendliness of the hosts, the cleanliness, the quietness, and the location. We recommend to all and we will definitely be back someday.

The cabins were perfect! We loved being away from the bar harbor crowds and still close enough to Acadia. There are still numerous restaurants nearby and the most beautiful scenery. The cabins were quaint and the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. The host Aarron can give you all the tips you need for a memorable trip. Can’t wait to return here again!

Unique stay at a cabin, which was spotlessly clean and all new (with tasteful decorative touches). The owner Aaron was super helpful in giving pointers about the local area and attractions. Located in Bass Harbor, very close to iconic lighthouse.

They had a washer and dryer available and because it was the midpoint of our weeks-long trip it was a pleasant surprise. Free too!!
