An truely delightful and well equiped room with an excellent host. The evening meal was good and the breakfast was very good. Very good value for money and somewhere we would stay again if in the area.

Nothing within the control of the venue - chaotic diversions in the neighbouring Midhust - allow extra time if you plan to travel through Midburst to the venue

Lovely rooms and an amazing breakfast.

Pillows were a bit too soft for me but that’s personal preference other than that it was lovely.

Very quiet rural situation, convenient for Petworth, Midhurst and surrounding areas. Friendly, informal atmosphere. Welcoming staff .

Although room was comfortable, it had limited comfortable seating and no desk or table. The room lighting was poor as it was not possible to make it very bright.

Breakfast was okay. The dinner was the worst meal we have ever had - both mains and starters were borderline inedible

The room was freezing when we arrived - had to ask for a heater - took 2hrs to warm up. Bathroom basic - room ok but not worth the money

Only found this great place as we were planning a trip to Petworth and Amberley. Couldn't get in previous accommodation that we had used and glad now that we didn't. Lovely rooms, exceptionally friendly staff and food in restaurant was excellent although possibly a little pricey.

Lovely little country pub ,great staff friendly and welcoming, the food was fantastic the open fire was a real plus as it was -1 the day we went . The bedroom was a great size with very comfortable bed lovely , great corner bath as well definitely will be going again thank you

Only think I didn't like was the sticky toffee pudding I had for dessert was served cold and had a slight elderflower taste to sauce but that's all I can say I don't like sorry

The accommodation was in converted farm buildings well away from the busy road. Plenty of space, comfortable beds, fridge, tea/coffee facilities. Private outdoors area that was well maintained. The room was very easy to heat! Staff were very friendly and helpful.
