We really enjoyed our stay and will hope to be back soon
The only thing I can think of is the lift was a little slow but that is the only thing and wasn’t even an issue

Breakfast
Sea tiny view
How close it was to Bournemouth
Receptionist took ages to book us in in what felt like a hundred transactions
Power cut in the morning unable to have a shower as it was in the dark
Lack of customer service when complaining about power cut
Toilets being painted and wet on arrival

Had a lovely sea view and clean room and clean bathroom
The mattress on the bed was very uncomfortable due to the bed springs sticking through and squeaked on every movement

Can't think of anything that went well. I definitely did not like any aspect of my stay. If the area hadn't been so busy I would have left and gone to another hotel.
The Hotel was filthy, in every area and aspect, the first room they gave me I wouldn't let my worst enemy stay in it, the 2nd room was marginally better although was still tempted to stay in my car. Breakfast was ok but not good quite greasy and room was not clean windowsills were filthy and lots of ants crawling around.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Parked in front of hotel to unload the car and take baggage upstairs .Obtained permission from the reception team to stay for free at parking for 28 minutes.
Received a parking ticket for £60 from Parking eye for staying at hotel parking for 28 mins although permission obtained.

The location was good. Right near the cliff top.
The staff were really rude. They tired to charge us a lot of money to park at the hotel from late in the evening to very early in the morning. We just parked across the road for a couple of pounds.

Breakfast was good
Drugs in hotel
Room not cleaned
No tea or coffee had to ask for them
The terrace had patio slabs which by the door was loose and likely to cause an accident

Very old facilities / shower not working properly not hot water very old bathroom / the bed was event worst maybe from the 70’s… the toilet were not working properly too. This hotel is well located but needs a bit refurbishment.

great location, 5 minute walk from bournemouth pier. staff were very friendly and helpful. second time staying at the hotel and would definitely return again
2 bottles of water cost over £9, which I thought was a bit steep. understandable though as you’re down south

Location
Poor quality rooms and lower than average customer service. Kettle didn’t work, TV didn’t work, phone didn’t work and given another room with someone already in it which was most embarrassing. Badly stained and ill fitting carpets, paint runs and splashes on fixtures and fittings, saggy old and ripped mattress etc etc. it all seemed to be the norm and no apology given. Shame I prepaid!

Breakfast
It took four days to get the television to work just in time for going home.
The evening meal in the restaurant last year resulted in food poisoning and it was so badly prepared that I wan not charged for it. It meant that I didnt use the restaurant this year for dinner.

it’s location although a 15 minute walk from Bournmouth Center.
the bed was very lumpy, and a lot of the furniture was dated and broken, only 2 coffee sachets in the room!

Our room was lovely and clean with everything we needed and it had a lovely view of the sea. The bathroom was very clean and everything worked perfectly with some really lovely decor including a light up mirror perfect for getting your face on. We loved the bedroom furniture that much we have ordered the same to be delivered to our home for our bedroom. Very comfortable bed and a great night sleep...it was silent throughout the night and we was woken up by the birds singing and the sun shining through the window. Very friendly staff who were always happy to help and available 24 hours. 30 seconds walk to the beach and 5 minutes walk to the high street shops. 10/10 as the price made it a real perfect stay. Thank you to all the staff
I really can't think of anything apart from the lift was out of order.

it was decently clean and cosy
the curtains are abit scruffy and the net curtain could do with changing but the place itself was decently nice and I would say I would recommend it for a short stay :)
the shower I had (which obviously won’t be the same in all the rooms) only ran out the middle bit and not the outside but again I wouldn’t say that would happen in all the rooms I think that either just needs a shower head update or maybe I just didn’t look into using it right

The staff at the reception was very supportive
value for money

The room was nice even though it had a broken toilet, told them at reception only to find a rolled up towel behind it even though the actual toilet was coming off the floor!
Also if you are staying at a hotel you should not be expected to pay parking.
The breakfast was not great, not much left when we got there and it isn't cheap!
Let's just say the staff were not overly friendly

Staff was friendly
Tiles on bathroom floor cracked no window to open and glass in fire door not frosted so had to keep curtains shut when dressing

No food available after 10pm, uncomfortable bed

Room basic.beds comfy.side view of brick wall...looking down onto piles of broken unused chairs...
Because I booked via Booking.com I had to pay £12 for parking which was only until check out time not even a full 24 hrs...if I had booked direct parking was included....for this reason I won't book again...which is a shame

Great location right by the beach with great seaviews. (If your room has seaviews). Very close to the Pier and a few minutes walk to the town centre with loads of shops, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly, polite and helpful. Very lovely full English breakfast with good selection. Spa facilities are in this hotel but did not use it as booking was last minute and spa was fully booked.
Hotel is a bit old and needs updating but for 3 star I guess I can't complian too much. Room sizes not the best but it was clean. I had standard double room. There was a permanent constant noise during the night from ? Pipes or bathroom in room. Hubby said it had to do with the heating system and big hotels. It can disturb sleep if you are a light sleeper. Room was warm but heating was on constantly and If you open windows there is noise from the main road. The pool and sauna is located in the other hotel so you have to go there to use those facilities. Nice warm pool but Sauna wasnt hot at all and it switched off 10 minutes after we entered. Parking is a nightmare. If you book direct you will be very lucky to get free parking but if you book through a third party like I did be aware. Parking is £12 per night. I didn't realise this till I got the email after i had already booked and paid. You are however allowed to park in any of the 3 Oceana hotels next to each other but the spaces are so limited people can block each other and it can be a nightmare if you want to go out with your car for the day or you want to check out. In all fairness i think it is like this across all the hotels along the promenade. It's the location. You could save yourself the hastle and park on the main road for £15 per night instead. I would stay here again though but just in a quieter different room.

location was great big 👍and room was nice and spacious!
deco very tied and old - will definitely benefit with new carpets and pain and most definitely basic cleaning around the hotel - special at the back when our room window was allocated:(

One gentleman called Dale helped us out with parking and was so friendly.
Arrived to the parking full so had to drive around to find parking with no help from the hotel. Luckily, we found a space in the end. Parking on the road is over £15 for 11 hrs. Then we got into the hotel to find our room had been changed. We went into our hotel, and we had a standard bed when we requested a king size. In the bathroom, there was literally no space, sat on the toilet, and it was a big squash. There was also a window that people could look in whilst you were in the shower. Lucky we were high up. Also, the bed was hard as rocks and had the worst nights sleep ever. The stairs in the hotel are hard to walk on and almost slipped a few times. Also, one step, the carpet had come loose, and when we notified reception, they were like, "Oh yes, we know about that. We went out for our evening and returned to the hotel for a drink, and there was no one to serve us cause the bartender was outside and no one could serve us. So 2 people stood in reception chatting whilst us and a couple of other couples were waiting. The bartender then returned and didn't seem to know quite what he was doing and didn't seem to know where anything was. I then had to return my drink because the coke was flat. Whilst we sat drinking, there started to turn the lights off. We returned to our room and could hear people moving around. Beautiful setting, but 100000% would not return to this hotel.
