Séjour cocooning, personnel très gentil. Chambre d'une propreté irréprochable, superbe literie avec lit King size, chambre spacieuse et très bien équipé(serviettes, nécessaire de toilette, cafetière expresso, dosettes, the, bouilloire, chocolats, sèche cheveux, fer a repassé...). l'établissement possède des doubles vitres donc pas de bruit malgré un environnement animé avec plusieurs restaurants et pubs au pied de l'hôtel. l'hôtel dispose d'un restaurant mais nous l'avons testé. nous avons également apprécier le petit déjeuné agréable et très copieux.

Lovely room and bathroom . Great comfortable clean pub Fabulous staff !

It’s located in an area with lots of bars / clubs so it was very noisy at night despite double glazing.

Lovely x we are local …. Romsey, so it was a nice treat to stay out close to home.

Pleasantly surprised by the standard of the accommodation would definitely return

Looked pretty with lights outside, inside decorated for Christmas nicely. The staff all very friendly. The rooms were a great standard for a pub! With nice details, good coffee machine, robes, a bottle of water and a beer in the mini bar . The bathroom was modern and clean and in general very nicely done. Oh the breakfast was fantastic too!

Charming hotel with lovely staff although restaurant staff could have been a little more proactive. Great location and cool old building.

Charcuterie board for two for dinner was over priced and not enough for two as advertised.

Perfect !

The breakfast is the best ever especially the royal eggs! The location was perfect, close for walking anywhere in town! And the street terrace was wonderful for a sundowner in the beautiful sunshine! I Can only praise everything and everyone at this Hotel!

Ok for short stay.

Friendly staff. Good choice of food for breakfast. Near to town centre.

Only 1 face cloth in the bathroom. Toilet roll holder coming off. One of my pillows was ok, the other lumpy. There was a bath, but for someone only 5.2 as I am, it was far too high to get into.

The white star is fantastic.

The white star tavern is a fantastic place to stay, has very comfortable beds, the staff are very attentive and looked after us the whole time, even when it got busy. The building is an older building that has been lovingly restored with the bar downstairs and the accommodation located over 2 floors, as it's an old building it does not have a lift, but it's recommended to take an overnight bag so you don't have to lug the larger cases up the stairs (Staff will lock up your cases for safe keeping). Breakfast is inclusive, and let me tell you, the food was on point, absolutely delicious. You actually get the small things here, like a decent amount of milk for your Coffee or Tea and enough for more than one cup a day, these things and more, like chocolate and water and beer in the fridge that is not extra made the difference for us. I will be a returning customer very happy.

Well, there's not much to say here, no elevator, but still no issue unless you can't do stairs.

White star tavern, great place to stay for easy access to the centre of Southampton.

BRIDGET, EMMA AND ALL THE TEAM WERE WARM, WELCOMING AND FRIENDLY. THE ACCOMMODATION WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE, THE BAR HAD A LOVELY EVENING VIBE, AND THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS.

Pleasant central Southampton stay

Nice to have lunch in the bar before checking in. Room was fine in spite of a view over the aircon unit. Staff very friendly. Nice complementary drinks in minibar Location good. very central - a few bars nearby Bathroom was fine

Room size a bit small. Facilities basic Parking is a right nuisance having on-street only and 4 hour maximum

great stay and will go again

great location, room was lovely, everything you needed, good beds and quality bedding. nice touches like robes, slippers and a few complimentary drinks in the fridge. Good food in the restaurant bit evening meal & breakfast. The big thing that stood out for me was the staff, all seemed to be smiling, happy & couldn’t do enough for you.
