Really enjoyed it. Would recommend but need to check floor is hoovered.

Loved the decor, the plants the relaxed atmosphere and the water and searing area at reception. Staff were friendly and helpful. Living room was brightly lit, well stocked and good varied seating.

Room was dirty. So many hairs on the floor and on the walls and floor in the bathroom. In the shower.

Very cosy stopover.

Good location and within walking distance to cruise ships - even with luggage. Room was well presented, plenty of space and very comfortable.

Pleasant stay.

Staff so friendly and helpful. Made you feel at home. Large room and laundry on site. Common area welcoming and inviting.

We didn't have a nice view. Just carpark and side street. Website shows gardens.

Graduation stopover

The room was spacious and functional with a very comfy bed loved the vibe in the reception and bar area especially the chrsitmas tree with handmade decorations ❤️

Amazing hotel with a great concept. Large room with excellent facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for the port and cruise ship holidays, walking distance to all terminals. Set in the old town of Southampton, with lots of great restaurants.

Lovely and original hotel - a home away from home (f your home is really nice)

This is a lovely hotel, in front of a nice park and just around the corner from Oxford Street, with its restaurants. Easy walk to the old part of town and the city centre. The staff were lovely and very efficient. We were upgraded to a very nice room, my teenage son was happy with his "berth" up a ladder and I slept very well in a very large and comfy bed. We had a dinner table and kitchen so had dinner in the room, everything we needed was provided.

Perfect for our purpose!

We chose room2Hometel for the proximity to the cruise terminal. We spent a night in Southampton prior to boarding our ship the following morning. Not only was it an easy 15 minute walk to the terminal, the hotel was in a lovely setting across from a park and there were several good restaurants within a short walk…a few on the marina with patio seating. The room was very clean, modern, and comfortable complete with a kitchenette. The coffee shop off the lobby was delightful. The staff provided excellent service. Thus, it almost felt like a destination hotel.

Pleasant stay in a cozy room nearby the shops and restaurants in Southampton

Clean and good sized room for the UK. Short walk to the city center. Staff was very friendly.

The breakfast was ok but not great. Coffee was not great even though the hotel houses a coffee bar.

Location- staff was excellent-clean- Master bedroom room all good

Pillows to hard and did not see options on web page ? Reception area could be a lot better did not know where to stand to check in and being greeted could be better, it was a Saturday afternoon though . Most of the tables in the seating area was taking by young students,on their iPads. You should have a small area for just hotel guests so they can order food and sit down. This is only my suggestions I hope it helps with the feedback.

Superb

The room was very spacious, well set up for families with a kitchenette. Cleanliness was top notch. The team went out of the way to put some birthday decorations up for my daughter who's birthday it was when we visited. I had asked if I could pay for a balloon to be put in the room but the team decorated free of charge for us. Lovely communal area downstairs with good coffee. We weren't there long enough to sample the food from the kitchen but the café area was busy so can only imagine that the food was popular.

Very good

great location, friendly and helpful staff. the lounge was great for our kids (2,4 & 6) with games to play and very relaxed.

had an issue with the shower but with no maintenance at the weekend had to sort myself after the staff found some Allen keys for me. the shower room smelt like cigarette smoke, possibly due to people smoking near the air intake to the ventilation. would still stay again despite this though as it was perfect for what we needed.

Different experience that would not try it again in future

Room was not as clean as I was reading in reviews when I touched clothes organizer so many dasts splashed on me ! Very small place when we entered for first time I thought we are coming to a coffee shop! Only two young lady were there in coffee shop and they were ordering food coffee plus check in and out ! Evening time there were no place in that area for dinner and they suggest us to pack our order and take to our room ! Breakfast serving and options was very bad they were putting some milks, juices apples cereals and croissant in a cutted paper box and were left them behind the door ! We had to go other place for breakfast unfortunately

The room was amazing. Lovely space, made with care. The view was also great. A brilliant studio apartment.

breakfast came in a bag outside the door (cereal with milk, juice, activia, orange and something I can't recall). That was a big disappointment. If we knew that we wouldn't have payed for breakfast. The duvet was appropriate for antartica not Southampton, and the bed and pillows were not that comfortable in general.
